Taylor Swift Releases New “Re-recorded” Hit
Taylor Swift released a new, re-recorded version of her song “Love Story” Friday at midnight. The original version of “Love Story” appeared on Swift’s 2008 album Fearless. She also announced that she has finished re-recording a new version of Fearless, which will be coming soon. The new version of Fearless, titled Fearless: Taylor’s Version, will include 26 songs in total including six tracks that were never previously released. “I’ve now gone back and recorded those so that everyone will be able to hear not only the songs that made the album but the songs that almost made it. The full picture,” Swift said on GMA.

More Bruce Springsteen Arrest Details Come Out
Bruce Springsteen was arrested for DWI, reckless driving and consuming alcohol in a closed area months ago while at the Gateway National Recreation Area. Now, statements of probable cause show that he allegedly refused to take a preliminary breath test when first approached by a park ranger on site. “Springsteen refused to take a preliminary breath test (PBT), despite signs of intoxication namely after testing his gaze and walk and turn tests,” a park ranger named R. L. Hayes alleges in the document. Additionally, the ranger claimed to have observed the musician “consume a shot of Patron tequila” before getting on his motorcycle to “start the engine.” Hayes claims he informed Springsteen, a New Jersey native, that drinking on the park premises “is prohibited.” “The Patron bottle that the shot was poured out of was completely empty (750ml),” the ranger also writes. “I asked Springsteen if he was leaving and he confirmed that he was going to drive out of the park.” Hayes claimed Springsteen reeked of alcohol. “[He] smelt strongly of alcohol coming off his person and had glassy eyes,” the report states. The ranger continues that Springsteen “claimed that he had two shots of tequila in the last 20 minutes.” The ranger also said he “observed four out of six clues on the horizontal gaze nystagmus test.” He was “visibly swaying back and forth while I observed his eyes,” Hayes said. “I observed five out of eight clues on the walk and turn test. Springsteen took 45 total steps during the walk and turn instead of the instructed 19. [He] refused to provide a sample on the preliminary breath test.”

Kevin Hart’s Personal Shopper Arrested
Kevin Hart’s former personal shopper has been charged with defrauding him out of more than $1 million. Dylan Jason Syer, of Long Island City, was indicted and arraigned in New York on Wednesday for multiple charges including grand larceny for allegedly making over a million dollars in “unauthorized charges and purchases on the comedian’s credit cards” between October 12, 2017, through February 25, 2019, a press release from Queens County District Attorney Melinda Katz states. “This defendant, who owned a personal shopper business, used legitimate purchases to gain access and then allegedly continued to charge the actor’s credit cards for astronomical sums of money,” Katz said. According to the press release, Syer allegedly charged approximately $923,000 on Hart’s card without authorization in addition to $240,000 worth of jewelry and watches. With the stolen money, Syer acquired a number of expensive items including five Patek Phillipe watches valued at more than $400,000, a Sam Friedman painting, over 20 collectible dolls, and two Louis Vuitton bags. A hearing is set for Feb. 17. If convicted, Syer faces up to 25 years in prison.

Meghan Markle Wins Letter Battle
Meghan Markle has declared victory in her battle against the U.K.’s Mail on Sunday for invading her privacy by publishing a letter she wrote to her estranged father. On Thursday, Judge Mark Warby said Associated Newspapers misused her private information in five February 2019 articles in the British tabloid and on the MailOnline website, which published portions of a handwritten letter to Thomas Markle, after her 2018 royal wedding to Prince Harry. The judge said the duchess “had a reasonable expectation that the contents of the letter would remain private. The Mail articles interfered with that reasonable expectation.” The ruling is a significant victory for the duchess, who sued the publisher for invasion of privacy and copyright infringement. Associated Newspapers contested the claim, and a trial was scheduled for the fall. The duchess asked for a summary judgment to settle the case without a trial. At a hearing last month, Markle’s lawyer, Justin Rushbrooke, argued that the publisher had “no real prospect” of winning the case. Her lawyers say the “deeply personal” five-page letter was intended for her father alone. But the defense argued Markle wrote the letter as part of a media strategy to rebut a negative view conveyed by her father, and with help from the communications team in the royal couple’s Kensington Palace office. Thursday’s ruling means Markle has won her case on privacy grounds, but the judge said a “limited trial” should be held to decide some of the copyright issues.

Rosie O’Donnell Can’t Sell Her Home
Rosie O’Donnell is having some trouble selling her $6 million Saddle River mansion. The New Jersey property has been on the market for the past five years — and still can’t find a buyer. She first bought the home in 2013 for $6.3 million. According to New Jersey property records, she decided to list the home two years later, in July 2015 for nearly $7 million. But with no offers, the former co-host of “The View” relisted the home at what would be an estimated $400,000 loss — that is, if she can sell it. Pegged as an English Country Estate, the home sits on over five acres of land. Built in 1928, the structure has since undergone extensive renovations. The six-bedroom, nine-bathroom gated home comes with a separate guesthouse, a basketball court, an elevator and an artist studio. Other amenities include a pool with a grotto waterfall, plunge pool and a jacuzzi spa. In 2018, the actress attempted to sell off most of her other real-estate assets, including her main South Nyack, NY, residence for $5.1 million — $200,000 less than her $5.3 million asking price.

Television and movie icon Cloris Leachman died of natural causes on Jan. 27 at 94-after a decades-long career she had planned to carry on despite her years. “Work kept Cloris alive, vibrant and happy,” said a friend. The scene-stealer from “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” who went on to get her own successful spin-off “Phyllis” in the 1970s, started her career as a Miss America contestant in 1948 and enjoyed her breakthrough when she won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for 1971’s “The Last Picture Show.” The prolife actress appeared in 287 films and television shows. Runaway Goat
A North Carolina sheriff’s office said deputies ended up in an unusual “foot (and hoof) chase” when a runaway goat spotted wandering in the street attempted to elude capture. The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office said two deputies responded to the report of a goat on the loose on Old Ocean Highway and they arrived to find the elusive animal running down the roadway. “This little nanny goat wasn’t too eager to be caught so subsequently a foot (and hoof) chase ensued down Old Ocean Highway,” the sheriff’s office said. “These two fellas managed to catch her and get her to safety. We hear it was quite the scene!” The goat’s owner was identified and the animal was returned home. See the pic HERE.

Electric Porsche Break Speed Record
A driver broke the indoor land speed world record when he reached a speed of 102.65 mph in his electric Porsche at a New Orleans convention center. Leh Keen, driving an all-electric Taycan Turbo S Porsche, said the car’s quick acceleration and powerful brakes were crucial to setting the Guinness World Record for the fastest speed achieved by a vehicle indoors. Keen said the most complicated part of the record was dealing with the polished concrete floor at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. “I didn’t really appreciate the scale of the record attempt until my first exploratory run. The surface is so unpredictable, so slick, that you have to have complete trust in your car,” Keen said. “It truly was like ice — and you’re accelerating flat out, facing a really hard wall at the end. Suddenly, even in a massive space like the one we had, it seems very small.” His speed of 102.65 mph was enough to beat the previous record of 86.99 mph, which was set by Finnish driver Mikko Hirvonen in 2013.

Missing Cat Found 4 Years Later
A cat who went missing from his owner’s Texas home turned up four years later in an Arkansas neighborhood 600 miles away. Justin Brown, of Springdale, Ark., said he and his neighbors had been caring for a stray cat in their neighborhood for the past year, and recently he and his family decided to capture the feline and bring him to Lyon’s Veterinary Clinic in Tontitown. A veterinarian scanned the cat for a microchip, and he was identified as Carl, who went missing from Jason Ludlum’s Bay City, Texas, home four years earlier. Ludlum and his wife, Angi, said they have no idea how Carl ended up traveling from North Texas to Arkansas. Veterinarian Brad Lyon said Carl appeared to have been well-taken care of and was in good health. An Arizona family was recently reunited with their cat, Lexi, after the feline ran away from a campsite during a family trip to Oregon. See the video HERE.

Congressman Upside Down In Zoom Call
A Minnesota congressman flipped the script at a House committee hearing Wednesday — accidentally appearing upside down on video in the latest in a series of Zoom fails gone viral. The fail by GOP Rep. Tom Emmer — seen upside down on camera during the House Financial Services Committee meeting — got quite a few laughs. “Will the gentleman suspend?” committee chairwoman Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) interrupted Emmer as he discussed job security during COVID-19. “I’m sorry, Mr. Emmer — are you OK?” she asked him as their colleagues audibly chuckled in the background. “I am,” he replied. “You’re upside down, Tom,” someone pointed out. “I don’t know how to fix that,” Emmer admitted. His mishap comes on the heels of Texas lawyer Rod Ponton — who inadvertently used the cat filter on Zoom during a virtual court hearing and then went viral. “I’m here live.
