Stranger Things Season 4 Announced!
Netflix has announced the “Stranger Things” Season 4 premiere date, and the news that Season 5 will be the series’ last. First things first: Season 4 of the 1980s-set sci-fi hit show will consist of nine episodes and premiere in two parts. Volume 1 of Season 4 will kick off on May 27, and Volume 2 will premiere just over a month later, on July 1st. Season 4 will pick up with the gang scattered to the wind, as Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) is distraught over her pseudo dad Hopper’s (David Harbour) death and is living with the Byers family: Joyce (Winona Ryder), Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) and Will (Noah Schnapp). The Byers have moved away from Hawkins, Indiana – separating Eleven from her boyfriend, Mike (Finn Wolfhard) and the rest of the gang, including Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Steve (Joe Keery). Unbeknownst to his family and friends, Hopper is alive, in a sinister camp in remote Russia. In an open letter to fans, creators the Duffer Brothers also announced that the show will end with Season 5 – but they heavily implied that there will be spinoffs. “There are still many more exciting stories to tell within the world of ‘Stranger Things,’ ” they wrote. “New mysteries, new adventures, new unexpected heroes. But first, we hope that you stay with us as we finish this tale of a powerful girl named Eleven and her brave friends, of a broken police chief and a ferocious mom, of a small town called Hawkins and an alternate dimension known only as the Upside Down.” See the pic HERE.

The Batman’s New Voice
Robert Pattinson discussed his role as Batman and how he developed his Batman voice while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live. He stars as Batman/Bruce Wayne in The Batman, which comes to theaters on March 4. “I wanted to do a radically different thing to all the other Batmen,” Pattinson said about his Batman voice on Wednesday. “I just thought everyone does this kind of gruff, gravelly thing. I’m like, I’m going to do the opposite. I’m going to go really whispery. I tried to do it for the first like two weeks and it just looked absolutely atrocious. They told me to stop doing it,” the actor continued. Pattinson said he discovered from a costume designer that former Batman actor Christian Bale had also attempted to do a more whispery voice for the character before it was changed. “You can feel when it feels right. You put the suit on and you have to speak in a certain way.,” he continued.

Alec Baldwin Still In Denial
Alec Baldwin is in “complete denial” and refuses to accept “any responsibility” for the death of “Rust” cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, her family’s attorney says. On the heels of Hutchins’ family filing a wrongful death lawsuit against Baldwin and others on Tuesday, the family’s attorney, Brian Panish, appeared on “Dan Abrams Live,” where he claimed Baldwin “is continuing to do what he’s done throughout this – blaming others.” “He’s not accepting any responsibility,” Panish said, adding that Baldwin, 63, “refused any gun safety training, number one.” “Number two, he pointed a gun at someone on a set. You don’t do that without plexiglass and other precautions. Number three, why were there bullets in the gun to begin with whether they were fake or real? It was only a lineup. There was no intention for him to shoot the weapon. He wasn’t supposed to shoot the weapon. Nobody expected him to do that, yet he recklessly fired the weapon while pointing it at three people, killed one and injured another,” Panish added. In addition to Hutchins’ death, director Joel Souza was also injured.

Kim Kardashian unfollowed estranged husband Kanye West on Instagram Thursday amid all of his tirades about her, their family and Pete Davidson. Kim unfollowed West shortly after he posted attacks about the “Saturday Night Live” star to his account, writing, “HI SKETE YOU GOT ANYMORE MENTAL HEALTH JOKES FOR ME?” In a second post, West said he wasn’t harassing Davidson, he was just getting “payback.” “This boy thought he could get away with performing this sketch for the team that wrote this for him,” West wrote of the 2018 “Weekend Update” segment in which Davidson blasted West’s MAGA rant. “This is not harassment This is payback.” Neither Kardashian, who filed for divorce from West one year ago, nor Davidson, have publicly responded to West’s posts, but now that he has his own account he could engage in the comments. The fact that Davidson joined amid all this drama is a brave choice, considering West’s first move was to follow him.

Wendy Williams launched a brand-new Instagram account Wednesday with a video update on her whereabouts and well-being, but some of her fans are not buying what she’s selling. “This video is a year old,” speculated one follower in the comments section. “I believe this is an old video,” wrote another. Fans noticed that Williams talked about her mother being in Florida, where the video was filmed, and also referred to herself as being 56 years old. However, Williams announced in December 2020 that her mother had died, and she is currently 57. “This have to be old because she said its good to have family like her mom dad and others… But I thought her mother had passed,” noted one follower. “This video is old. She keeps referencing that she is 56 years old but she’s actually 57,” commented another. Despite the eyebrow-raising comments, Williams’ publicist says that she simply misspoke when it came to her age and meant her mother is buried in Florida. The rep also insisted the video was taped Wednesday morning.

Stolen Cabin
Michigan State Police investigators are seeking the help of the public to locate an unusual piece of stolen property — an entire cabin. The Michigan State Police’s Houghton Lake Post said the 12-foot by 28-foot cabin was originally located in Cold Springs Township. The MSP said the owners of the cabin recently reported it was missing, presumed stolen. The cabin is believed to have been taken sometime between Nov. 18 and Dec. 16th.

Tallest Fork!
An Oregon city is seeking the Guinness World Record for the tallest fork after installing a 37-foot-tall utensil outside a new food cart plaza. The city of Fairview said the 37-foot fork, installed Tuesday outside the soon-to-open Fairview Food Plaza, is believed to be the tallest in the world, and officials will seek confirmation of the designation from Guinness World Records. “So, the fork came about because we wanted something on the corner, whether it was a water tower or a windmill or some sort of piece that’s going to be on the corner, and then one of the design teams said, let’s just put a fork here and we’ll come back to it,” Mayor Brian Cooper told KATU-TV. “And over the course of a couple months, it just kind of stuck in the brain.” “And you can come up with an entire marketing scheme of ‘Take a left at the fork,’ ‘The Fork in Fairview,'” he said. Mini-Boat Makes It Across The Atlantic
A mini boat launched by students at a New Hampshire school was found 462 days later when it was discovered by a family visiting an island near Somola, Norway. The boat was launched by fifth- and sixth-grade students in the Educational Passages group at Rye Junior High School in October 2020, and the vessel contained an onboard GPS, but the signal was not reliable. “The GPS stopped reporting back in September and everyday since I have been checking, as have the students, and then suddenly on Monday, Jan. 31 a location popped up after four months of quiet,” Educational Passages Executive Director Cassie Stymiest told WMUR-TV. The boat, dubbed Rye Riptides, was off the coast of Norway when Stymiest got a signal from the GPS. The renewed GPS signal was followed a short time later by the news that the boat had been found by a Norway family visiting an uninhabited island near Somola. Karel Nuncic, the Norwegian sixth-grader who found the boat with his family, took it to his school, Smola Primary School. The Norwegian students noted the boat was damaged and encrusted with barnacles, but when they opened it up they found its cargo — photos, letters and trinkets placed by Rye Junior High School students — was intact and undamaged. Woman Uses PPP Loan To Hire Hitman
A Florida woman is accused of using some of her Covid-19 relief loan to hire a hit man to kill another woman, police said. The suspect, Jasmine Martinez, is in jail along with two other people, identified by police as Javon Carter and Romiel Robinson. They are all being held on charges related to the May 3 murder of Le’Shonte Jones and the attempted murder of Jones’ 3-year-old daughter, who was injured. Martinez is alleged to have concocted a plot to kill Jones, and Robinson is accused of enlisting Carter to carry out the slaying, NBC Miami reported, citing an arrest warrant. In the days before the shooting, Martinez is alleged to have withdrawn about $10,000 from a federal Paycheck Protection Program loan she received. The warrant alleges that she used the money to pay Carter for the crime. According to The Miami Herald, Martinez received the $15,000 loan — given to business owners struggling during the pandemic — for a single-employment beauty salon. It’s not clear whether she actually owned the salon.
