Anna Faris Secretly Marries
Anna Faris revealed on her podcast, “Anna Faris Is Unqualified,” that she and fiancé Michael Barrett secretly eloped. “I think we’ve spent the last year in a place of reflection, in a place of kind of prioritization to some degree, a place of anxiety, a place of like, whatever, assessment,” Faris shared. “But I’m looking around, just so, just my fiancé’s right…he’s now my husband.” She revealed they tied the knot in an intimate courthouse ceremony on San Juan Island in Washington State and apologized for spilling their secret. “Yes, we eloped…I’m sorry. I didn’t know… I’m sorry, honey. I just blurted that out, but it just feels [like] I can’t say fiancé anymore,” she said to Barrett. “Thank you, it was awesome. It feels great.” She also said that she broke the news to her family in a similar way. “My aunt asked me, ‘You are going to be a stepmom. How are you feeling about that?’ and I said, ‘Well, actually, I am a stepmom as of like four days ago, but it was great.” This is her third marriage. I literally meet someone, get to know them at work, and then either marry them or get pregnant by them,” she told Jenn Lahmers on “Extra.” She shares 21-year-old daughter Lily with her former partner, Michael Sheen, and was married to film director Len Wiseman in 2004. The pair separated in 2015, with their divorce finalized in 2019. Eric Clapton To Avoid Vax Only Venues
Eric Clapton will not perform at venues that require proof of vaccination. “Following the PM’s announcement on Monday the 19th of July 2021, I feel honor bound to make an announcement of my own: I wish to say that I will not perform on any stage where there is a discriminated audience present. Unless there is provision made for all people to attend, I reserve the right to cancel the show,” Clapton said via statement posted onto architect, film producer and anti-vaxxer Robin Monotti Graziadei’s Telegram account. The news follows U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s announcement Tuesday that as restrictions on social gatherings lift, nightclubs must require guests to show a Covid Pass from the U.K.’s National Health Service upon entry for everyone over the age of 18. Clapton has been releasing anti-vaccination and anti-lockdown statements and songs for close to a year now. In December 2020, Clapton joined fellow classic rocker turned anti-vaxxer Van Morrison on his song, “Stand and Deliver.”

Stones To Resume Tour
The Rolling Stones will resume their No Filter tour in September. They announced rescheduled dates for the U.S. leg of its No Filter tour Thursday. The U.S. leg was originally to begin in May 2020 but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It will now kick off Sept. 26 in St. Louis and end Nov. 20 in Austin, Texas. “We’re thrilled to be able to announce the rescheduled dates for the Rolling Stones 2020 US tour, which will now go ahead this Fall!” the post reads. “We want to thank you all for your patience during this very difficult and unprecedented time,” the band added. Tickets go on sale July 30 at 10 a.m. local time. “I’m so excited to get back on the stage again and want to thank everyone for their patience. See you soon!” Mick Jagger said in a statement.

Dr. Dre Ordered To Pay Big
Dr. Dre was ordered to pay his estranged wife, Nicole Young, $293,306 per month in spousal support beginning on Aug. 1, according to court documents. He will have to keep paying the massive amount to Young until she remarries or enters into a domestic partnership — or unless the court orders otherwise at a later date. Dre was also ordered to continue paying expenses for the Malibu and Pacific Palisades homes that the couple once shared, which makes sense as a source familiar with the case say he owns these homes outright. The source also said the spousal support figure is consistent with what he’s been paying already and is a fraction of the $2 million per month that Young asked the court for in September 2020. The former couple had a prenuptial agreement in place and Dre’s estimated net worth is currently around $800 million.

Bear Trapped In Car
A Tennessee man captured video of the unusual situation that resulted when a bear became trapped inside his car. Joseph Deel posted a video to TikTok showing how he opened a door to his car while visiting Gatlinburg with friends and allowed a trapped bear to exit the vehicle. The group shouted at the bear to get it to leave the area. Deel said the car still seemed to be in functioning condition after the bear’s exit, but the damage caused it to break down on his drive home to Johnson City. He said he had to leave the car at the side of a road, where someone broke in and stole the battery, catalytic converter and exhaust manifold. Deel’s insurance company declared the vehicle to be totaled. See the video HERE.

“Idiots” Release Cow
Police in England said a highway was shut down temporarily after “idiots” forced a farmer’s gate open and allowed a cow to escape. The Central Motorway Police Group said officers responded alongside Highways England workers late Tuesday night when a cow wandered onto the M6 highway in Doxey, Staffordshire. Police tweeted the cow escaped when “idiots forced [and] left a farmer’s gate open.” Officers were able to corral the cow behind a gate and the bovine was escorted home by police and local farmers who came to the scene to help. “Many thanks to the drivers held up as we shut the carriageway, your patience as we deal with these and other incidents is greatly appreciated,” police tweeted.

Vaccine Lottery Ticket Wins Big
A Texas man who received a free scratch-off lottery ticket when he got his COVID-19 vaccine in Arkansas ended up claiming a $1 million jackpot. Gary Smith of Arlington told Arkansas Scholarship Lottery officials he was visiting family in the state last week when they decided to get their second doses of the vaccine at the local health department office. Smith said he was told his vaccination proof could be used to obtain a $20 scratch-off lottery ticket for free or a $20 gift certificate for the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission as part of the state’s incentive program, and he chose the lottery ticket. Smith said he couldn’t believe it when he scratched off the $1 Million Spectacular ticket and revealed the $1 million top prize. “I know they’re lying,” Smith recalled thinking when he revealed the prize. “I couldn’t believe it.” The winner said his family members were equally surprised.

Florida Woman Skinny Dips In Random Pool
A Florida woman was arrested Monday after authorities say she was caught skinny-dipping in a random homeowner’s pool. The man who lives at the residence told Charlotte County Sheriff’s deputies that he throught something was amiss when he found clothing strewn across his lanai. He then spotted the naked stranger in his pool, police say. Police identified the alleged skinny-dipper as Heather A. Kennedy. Responding deputies claim Kennedy was confrontational and resisted arrest. She was taken to the Charlotte County Jail where they say she refused to tell them her name. They said they were able to identify her through previous jail booking photos. She is facing charges of trespass in structure or conveyance and resisting an officer without violence.
