Jennifer Lopez’s daughter will release her first book in the fall. She confirmed on Instagram that Emme Muñiz, her 12-year-old daughter with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, will release the picture book Lord Help Me in September. Lopez shared a photo of Muñiz holding her book, which depicts a person praying. The book is written by Muñiz and illustrated by Brenda Figueroa. “So proud of my lil coconut Emme, as she shares her own daily prayers in her very first book LORD HELP ME! This book will offer families a way to embrace the peace and power of everyday faith,” Lopez captioned the post. “#PowerOfPrayer #ProudMama.” Mario Lopez was among those to congratulate Muñiz in the comments. “Love that! Ellen DeGeneres is struggling with the recent string of accusations from staffers and show guests claiming she’s not nice, according to a new report. “Ellen is at the end of her rope,” an insider told Us Weekly. She apparently didn’t anticipate so many speaking out against her. “She thought this was all just sour grapes from a few haters. But it’s not a passing thing — the hits just keep coming,” the source added. She came under fire last month from staff members of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” for failing to communicate the status of their jobs and pay amid the coronavirus pandemic. Meanwhile, beauty influencer Nikkie de Jager, who appeared on her talk show in January, claimed DeGeneres was particularly “cold” and gave preferential treatment to A-list guests. DeGeneres’ alleged bad reputation was further supported by Tom Majercak, a former bodyguard who protected DeGeneres at the 2014 Oscars. In an interview with Fox News, Majercak branded the host as “sly” and “demeaning.”

Prince Harry feels “rudderless” and doesn’t have friends in Los Angeles, according to a report. He is feeling down since he’s fled Canada with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their 1-year-old son, Archie, for sunny Southern California, a source told Vanity Fair. “He has a lot of friends in the military community in the UK and of course he misses them. This is a very strange time for us all, but I think Harry is missing having a structure to his life right now,” the source said. They are living in an $18 million Beverly Hills mansion owned by media mogul Tyler Perry. “He doesn’t have friends in LA like Meghan and he doesn’t have a job. So at the moment he’s a bit rudderless, but it won’t always be like this, and he knows that.” Harry stepped down as a full-time royal and agreed not to use his official military appointments gifted to him by the Queen, describing it as “a wound that will take time to heal.”

Mary-Kate Olsen is divorcing her French banker husband, Pierre Olivier Sarkozy — alleging in legal papers that he is cruelly kicking her out of their New York home next Monday in the middle of a pandemic. Olsen who wed Sarkozy in 2015 — signed a summons and complaint for divorce on April 17, when “it was clear my marriage was over … the relationship has broken down irretrievably,” according to the court papers, filed in New York’s Supreme Court. But she was informed the New York courts were not then accepting divorce filings. She is now asking the court to allow her to file an emergency divorce petition, claiming, “My husband has terminated the lease on our New York City residence … without my consent. “This application is an emergency because my husband expects me to move out of our home on Monday, May 18, 2020 in the middle of New York City being on pause due to COVID-19.” She also claims that she has reached out to Sarkozy’s attorney and her landlord begging to stay past May 30. “I am petrified that my husband is trying to deprive me of the home we have lived in and if he is successful, I will not only lose my home but I risk losing my personal property as well.” Olsen says that due to the pandemic, she can’t “look for another apartment right now, let alone retrieve my separate property belongings and am gravely concerned my husband will dissipate, dispose of and/or secret” not only her things, but their marital property, according to the court docs.

Evander Holyfield Confirms He Wants To Fight Tyson Again
Evander Holyfield confirmed Wednesday he’s interested in an exhibition boxing match against Mike Tyson, more than two decades after their first two encounters. Holyfield told Fiaz Rafiq and Richard Forrester of The Sun he’s not looking for a “knockout grudge match,” but rather a charity bout that showcases “we were some of the greatest fighters in our era.” “I would do that! Yes, I want to fight Mike Tyson,” he said. “My whole thing is I’m open, and I know that I want to do well for myself at age 57. I can definitely handle him. But Mike would have to want to do it as well.” Both Holyfield and Tyson have looked sharp in workout videos posted on social media in recent weeks, which helped spark speculation a third fight may be in the cards. “It may not be over yet,” Tyson said during a Facebook live stream (via CNN’s Allen Kim). “Anything’s possible. I feel unstoppable now. The gods of war have reawakened me, ignited my ego and want me to go to war again. I feel like I’m [young] again.” Holyfield upset Iron Mike to win the WBA heavyweight title in November 1996. Chet’s criticism came after Tekashi shared a record-breaking rant on Instagram over the weekend, during which he defended “snitching” on members of his Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods crew in exchange for less jail time. “Don’t be fooled by social media. That dude is SCARED S—TLESS but has no choice but to laugh and make light of it cuz he knows he’s a marked man for the rest of his life either way,” Chet said on his Instagram Stories on Monday. The Amazon founder — whose fortune is estimated at $143 billion, up from $125 billion on April 12, according to the Bloomberg Billionaire’s Index — was trending on Twitter after recent research suggests he could achieve that feat by 2026. The e-commerce giant’s sales topped $75 billion in the first quarter, driven by spiking demand during the pandemic that has kept people at home and depending on at-home delivery services, according to Marketwatch. Comparisun, a small-business advice platform, said it analyzed market capitalization of the 25 highest-valued companies on the New York Stock Exchange according to Macrotrends, and the net worth of the world’s 25 richest people according to Forbes. It then calculated the average yearly percentage growth over the last five years and applied that growth rate to come up with an idea of how that value would change in the future, according to the report. Boy Catches Big Fish!
Wildlife officials in Tennessee said a 9-year-old boy has a big fish story to tell after reeling in a nearly 80-pound sturgeon. The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency said Coye Price, 9, was fishing with his family on Old Hickory Lake when he reeled in a sturgeon that weighed in at a whopping 79.8 pounds. The agency said the boy’s catch dwarfed a 39.8-pound striper landed by his sister, Caitlin, and a 58-pound blue catfish reeled in by his other sister, Farrah. The agency said Price released the big sturgeon back into the lake. Officials said lake sturgeon can live for an estimated 150 years and have been known to grow up to 8 feet long. See the photo HERE.

Blue Waves Causes Big Stink!
A mysterious stench causing complaints across Southern California might be the result of bioluminescent algae dying off in the ocean, experts said. Residents across Southern California, including Los Angeles, complained of a mysterious odor Tuesday, and utility provider SoCalGas said workers determined the smell was not the cause of a natural gas leak in the area. The South Coast Air Quality Management District said investigators determined the odor is likely coming from the ocean. “Based on what we’re seeing, we do believe it’s organic in nature coming from the red tides,” Terry Mann, deputy executive officer of enforcement with South Coast AQMD, told KABC-TV. Valerie Burkholder with the Aquarium of the Pacific said the smell is believed to be a result of the bioluminescent algae that has been making waves off the California coast glow for the past couple weeks. She said the algae is starting to die off, causing a foul smell.

A website is offering $1,000 for an unusual social distancing “dream job” — hosting virtual brunches using video chat apps. WhistleOut, a website designed to help customers shop for phone, Internet and TV plans, announced it is offering $1,000 to a selected candidate willing to host virtual brunches using a variety of different video chatting apps. The posting said the selected person for the “dream job” will be called upon to host three virtual brunches with friends, using a different app each time. The company will then ask for comparisons and ratings for the apps, which include Houseparty, Bunch, Airtime, Squad and Rave. The selected applicant will receive $1,000 as well as a $300 Grubhub gift card to cover the cost of the virtual meals. Applications are being accepted on the website through Today (May 15th).

Kid Skateboarder Breaks Record
An 11-year-old skateboarder from Brazil has become the first in the world to complete a 1,080-degree turn, breaking a record formerly held by legendary skater Tony Hawk. Gui Khury, 11, posted a video to his Instagram account showing how he laded the 1,080-degree turn — three full rotations — on a vertical ramp. Khury became the first skater in the world to land a 1,080 turn on a vertical ramp, 21 years after Tony Hawk made history by becoming the first to land a 900-degree turn. Khury’s video went viral after being shared by skateboarding stars including Hawk. The young skater said he has had extra time to practice during the lockdown imposed to slow the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. He said his next goal is to land a 1,260-degree turn. Tips For Hand-Washing Clothes In The Tub

Even if you’ve spent the past two months of the coronavirus lockdown in pajamas, you have undoubtedly accumulated at least some laundry during that time. And without handy access to an in-home washer or dryer, you might be tempted to start hand-washing your leggings. Gwen Whiting and Lindsey Boyd know a thing or 30 about washing by hand. They are the co-founders of The Laundress, an all-things-laundry-all-the-time brand that offers a wealth of products and knowledge about how to clean just about anything. Now they’re sharing some of that knowledge with us. Below, their tips for hand-washing your clothes in the tub.
Start with a clean slate.
This one might sound like a no-brainer, but your bathtub is likely covered in germs. Whiting and Boyd recommend doing a deep clean before stopping the drain and filling it with water for your laundry.
Consider the temperature.
Different materials require different water temperatures, Whiting and Boyd explained. Items like woolens, faux fur, down jackets, bedding, delicates and denim should be washed in cool water. Activewear and everyday laundry, on the other hand, can be washed in warm water.
Be discerning with detergent.
Whiting and Boyd recommend using “an effective, plant-based detergent that’s formulated to whiten, brighten and preserve color while removing stains.” Laundry expert Patric Richardson recommends items from The Laundress’ brand, like their signature detergent and bleach alternative, while Richardson also recommends brands like Eczema Honey’s hand soap and Sonnett organic liquid laundry detergent.
Prepare the water before you put the clothes in.
Without the machine-operated, suds-making mechanisms available in a washing machine, it’s important to make sure the water is soapy before putting the clothes in. “Agitate the water with your hands to create a soapy solution,” Whiting said, “then let the garments soak in the soapy water for 30 minutes.”
Watch the clock.
You might be inclined to let your garments soak while you take care of other things around the house, but Whiting and Boyd say they should sit only for 30 minutes before rinsing. “Remove the laundry from the tub by pressing each garment against the edge of the tub and placing in a clean bucket or sink,” Boyd explained. “Then, open the drain to release the soapy water and close the drain again before filling with clean, warm water. Swirl to thoroughly rinse away the suds and drain once more.”
Resist the urge to wring.
Your clothes might still have some suds left over, even after rinsing. If that’s the case, Whiting and Boyd advise against wringing them out and suggest running them under the faucet instead until the water runs clear. “Wringing will cause damage to the fibers,” Boyd said. “Instead, press garments against the edge of the tub to get rid of excess water.”
You *can* hand-wash dry clean items, but not all of them.
“Fur with skin cannot be washed, as the skin can shrink or dry out with wet washing,” Whiting said. “Another tricky fabric is viscose. Viscose is a type of rayon, and although many rayons can be washed, viscose has been known to shrink to extreme proportions.”
Whiting also noted that rayon and viscose are often not labeled properly, so she doesn’t recommend washing either at home because shrinkage, elongation, distortion or puckering is not reversible. “We also don’t recommend washing structured materials like blazers with shoulder pads, as they can become distorted in the wash. Instead, you can spot treat and freshen.”
Not sure about a material? Test it.
Whiting and Boyd insist that materials like silk, lace, wool and cashmere can and should be washed in the tub, but if you’re not sure, there’s a way to see how the material will react to hand-washing.
“Find an inconspicuous area on the item, such as a seam or hem, and submerge it in warm water,” Boyd said. “Look for changes in character or texture in the wet area: tightening, shrinking, stretching, warping or the formation of ripples or wrinkles. Also be on the lookout for fabric elongation, which may not happen instantly. If you encounter any of these problems, dry clean the item.”
Finally, hang it out.
Whiting and Boyd are partial to line drying for its energy-saving and fabric preservation properties ― but not everyone has access to an outdoor space to do that. In that case, they have a few tips for in-home drying.
“Most everyday garments can be hung on a hanger,” Whiting said. “But be sure the hanger is properly shaped to prevent annoying shoulder bumps.”
For delicates and larger items like bedding, Whiting and Boyd recommend laying them flat on a table or surface, if possible, or hanging a blanket over a chair. Hanging something like a blanket on a shower rod, they said, could cause rust.
Finally, be aware of where you’re drying them. “Be careful not to set delicate fabrics near a heat source like a sunny window or radiator, as this can cause the items to shrink,” Whiting said.
