Miley Cyrus Says She Can’t Relate To Quarantine
Miley Cyrus has admitted she has no clue what the devastation of the coronavirus pandemic truly feels like because of the privileges that come along with being a celebrity. She opened up about the devastation of the coronavirus pandemic and how she’s found an outlet to discuss the unknowns through her new Instagram live talk show “Bright Minded.” “This isn’t Covid-19, what I’m experiencing. My life has been pushed pause on, but really I have no idea what this pandemic is like,” Cyrus told WSJ. Magazine for its June cover story. Cyrus, who has welcomed Elton John, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, and even politicians like Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., to her show for candid conversations touching on mental health and staying positive amid global crisis, insisted she knows full well she is not witnessing the impact of the pandemic as others are. “I am comfortable in my space and able to put food on my table and [I am] financially stable, and that’s just not the story for a lot of people,” Cyrus continued from her California home. Cyrus confessed she’s been able to book high-profile stars for the show by simply “sliding in” their direct messages on social media. Other times, fellow A-listers reach out to her, but she’s cognizant of the fact that many entertainers may be hesitant to participate in an effort to not come across as tone-deaf. “I’m sure a lot of the hesitation for other people saying yes to doing the show is because it almost doesn’t feel right for celebrities to share our experience. Because it just doesn’t compare,” she said.

Britney Spears Spent 2 Weeks Quarantining In Louisiana
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Britney Spears’ younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, discussed what brought Britney back to her native Louisiana amid the novel virus outbreak. “Britney was like, ‘I want to come home, I don’t want to be by myself out here,’ because all of her family’s pretty much here. So she was able to come home for almost two weeks or so,” Jamie explained. “She was here for my birthday and for [my daughter] Ivey’s birthday.” Of course, because “she has her children and all that stuff,” she returned to her Los Angeles home “just a couple weeks ago,” Jamie said. “I think she went back with the intentions of like, this was only going to be another week or so, and then they added on more time [to the stay-at-home orders],” said Jamie. “We’re all just trying to abide by the rules and do what we’re supposed to do.” Jamie also poked fun at her sister, joking that she maintains a “no candle” rule after Spears previously revealed that she burnt her gym down.

Kristin Cavallari is divorcing Jay Cutler in part because she was sick of him lying around the house. She married Cutler in 2013 when he was a quarterback with the Chicago Bears, and we’re told she thought he was lined up for a demanding career as a sports broadcaster after he hung up his cleats. But sources say that after his broadcasting career faltered, Cavallari, who announced in late April that the pair were splitting, found him “unmotivated” and even “lazy” — while he found that he had a penchant for hanging out with their three kids and menagerie of animals on their Tennessee farm. “She was growing increasingly impatient with him. He was supposed to take this big job at Fox Sports and have a life after football that would get him up off the couch and do something,” said an insider. “Instead, he backed out — this is [three] years ago — and joined the [Miami] Dolphins. That didn’t pan out well, and he was left with no TV gig until she got the show for them.” The couple moved on to star in the E! reality series “Very Cavallari,” which follows her jewelry business and their family and has so far aired for three seasons. The source added that Cavallari “views herself as very polished and put together, and [Cutler as] this lazy, unmotivated guy.”

Madonna is shutting down “sensationalist” rumors about her coronavirus diagnosis. She took to Instagram to share an article commending her for her help donating $1.1 million toward the development of a COVID-19 vaccine. In the caption, she clarified some headlines that implied that she is currently suffering with the disease. “Im Grateful that I can be a part of supporting Research to Find the cure for Covid -19!!” she wrote, before noting, “I am not currently sick.” “When you test positive for anti-bodies it means you HAD the virus which I clearly did as I was sick at the end of my tour in Paris over 7 weeks ago along with many other artists in my show but at the time,” she continued. “We all thought we had a very bad flu. Thank God we are all healthy and well now. Hope that clears things up for the band wagon jumpers!! Knowledge is Power!”

Kelly Ripas’s Son Helping With Show Production
Kelly Ripa’s film-student son has been helping out behind the scenes at “Live” while Ripa shoots from home, but he’s not getting paid for it. On Wednesday’s show, Ripa said her oldest child, Michael Conseulos, has “been producing my end of this show. He really is sort of working while he’s finishing because he’s set to graduate from college … I said to him, ‘Well look at you. I mean here you are, you’ve got a job before graduation. That’s got to make you feel good.’ He’s like, ‘Uh, yeah.’” But an ABC source says that Conseulos has not actually been hired by the morning show. “He’s just helping out, he’s not getting paid,” the source said. Conseulos is studying film at New York University. Last year, Ripa came under fire for joking that Conseulos was living in “extreme poverty” in Bushwick, Brooklyn, because he had to pay his own rent.

Trolls World Tour was released on demand, instead of in theaters, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and now, a new report is suggesting the stars, including Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake, were not told beforehand that this would be happening. They were allegedly not told that the movie would be made available for rental at $20, and sources are telling THR that “this is not the sort of surprise such people usually like” because “compensation for big stars in animated films is largely tied to box office bonuses.” Trolls World Tour is said to have made around $100 million so far, even though some say that the film “is still millions in the red” and may never recoup money. Justin and Anna‘s reps want them to be paid their fair share, reportedly seven figures, for the box office totals.

Flock Of Birds Detected On Radar
A Florida TV station’s weather radar detected a large mass between the state and Cuba that turned out to be something other than an unseasonable storm — it was a flock of migrating birds. The WBBH-TV news team said a display of bright colors flared up Wednesday morning on the station’s weather radar between Cuba and South Florida. Meteorologists said the mass on the radar was actually a large flock of birds heading north to the United States as spring temperatures take hold. The station said more birds might appear on the radar as temperatures continue to rise.

Driver Does High Speed Reverse!!
A Florida sheriff’s office said a driver reversing out of a bank parking lot accidentally ended up backing up onto two other cars. The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office said the driver reversed out of the SunTrust drive-through in Hernando and went over a curb into County Road 486. Dashcam footage captured by a witness shows the vehicle cross the road median, do a U-turn in reverse and jump the curb back into the bank parking lot. The car, a white Cadillac, ended up on top of two parked cars. No injuries were reported. The cause of the incident was under investigation. See the wild video HERE.

Peacock Protects Duck Eggs
Employees at an Oregon restaurant said a peacock has taken on the role of protector for a mother duck and the eggs she laid in the closed patio area. The Rain Bar & Grill said the duck made her nest in a planter in the patio area of the eatery, which is currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in mid-April. Employees said a short time later a peacock took up residence on the patio and accepted the role of protector for the duck and her eggs. The workers said the mother duck does not seem to mind the presence of the helpful peacock. “They’re great friends. He’s like her little protector. He kind of walks around hisses at people if they get too close to her when she’s here,” head bartender Ryan Landerholm told KMTR-TV.

Unused Beer To Be Dumped
France will discard 10 million litres of beer — four Olympic-sized swimming pools full — due to expire, undrunk, with consumers in coronavirus lockdown, the national brewers’ association said Wednesday. Most of the wasted brew is craft beer, which is often unpasteurised unlike traditional blonde lagers, and quicker to spoil, said the Brasseurs de France. “These are very hoppy beers, and if they are kept for too long, when they spend more than two to three months in storage, the olfactory and taste effects, the aroma, disappears,” brewery association boss Maxime Costilhes said. The body blamed the closure of cafes and restaurants, an abrupt halt to tourism and the cancellation of festivals and expos under France’s strict epidemic lockdown for leaving more than 10 million litres of beer unconsumed, most still in casks. The number was compiled from the association’s 300-odd members, which represent 98 percent of beer production in France. “The destruction of this beer will have come at a significant cost for businesses,” said the association, appealing for public aid to compensate for the bitter loss. “We are a very indebted sector since we invested 241 million euros ($260 million) in development in 2019 — a significant figure for a turnover of just over four billion euros,” said Costilhes.
