Tiger King Sequel On The Way!
Tiger King 2, a sequel to the popular docuseries Tiger King, is in the works at Netflix. They shared the news Thursday alongside a teaser for its slate of new true crime shows. Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness, a docuseries about former exotic animal park owner and convicted felon Joe Exotic, premiered on Netflix in March 2020. Deadline said the sequel will be released this year. Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin will return as directors and executive producers on Tiger King 2, with Chris Smith and Fisher Stevens to also serve as executive producers. Exotic, born Joseph Maldonado-Passage, was sentenced to 264 months in prison in January 2020 after a court found him guilty of 21 charges, most stemming from wildlife charges concerning his care for the big cats he held in captivity. Two of the charges were in connection to his murder-for-hire plot to kill animal rights activist Carole Baskin, who also appeared on Tiger King. See the tease HERE.

Harry and Meghan Visit NYC
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle kicked off a joint trip to New York with a visit Thursday to the One World Trade Center. They met with New York Mayor Bill de Blasio and New York Gov. Kathy Hochul at One World Observatory in Manhattan. Harry wore a navy suit and tie, while Markle sported a navy coat over a black top and pants. When asked about her return to New York, Markle said, “It’s wonderful to be back, thank you.” The outing marked Harry and Markle’s first major public, in-person appearance since their move to the United States in March 2020 and the birth of their second child, daughter Lilibet, in June. The couple are visiting New York to attend the Global Citizen Live event Saturday in Central Park. They joined the lineup “to continue their work with world leaders in pursuit of global vaccine equity.” Global Citizen Live is a 24-hour virtual event featuring performances on six continents. The concert, featuring Stevie Wonder, Demi Lovato, Kylie Minogue, Billie Eilish, Jennifer Lopez, Ed Sheeran and other artists, will stream Saturday on ABC, BBC, FX, YouTube, Hulu, iHeartRadio and other networks and streaming services.

Rachael Ray Has More Bad Luck At Home
Rachael Ray revealed that one year after her upstate New York house burned down in a fire, her New York City apartment flooded because of Hurricane Ida. “Ida took it out. And I mean, out. Down hard,” Ray told People magazine. “Like, literally every speaker in the ceiling, the fireplace, every seam in the wall… It was like the apartment just literally melted, like in ‘Wicked’ or something.” She said she and her husband, John Cusimano, had just finished renovations on the NYC pad. After a remediation team came in, even more damage was done. “They put up their fans and their humidifiers. And then, they make a hole in the wall and break the main water pipe and flood the entire building down to the first floor, from our apartment on the sixth floor.” Ray said. “Tell me you would not feel like a kicked can.” Last August, her Lake Luzerne home went up in flames due to a chimney fire. She had the house for 15 years and lost many special belongings such as cookbooks and photo albums.

Prince Harry Imitates The Queen
Prince Harry impersonated his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II in a heartfelt moment in a BBC documentary about her late husband, Prince Philip. While discussing his grandfather’s love of flying in the BBC’s “Prince Philip: The Royal Family Remembers,” which aired Wednesday, he imagined what the Queen, 95, would’ve been saying while aboard a plane when the Duke of Edinburgh was acting as the pilot. “He was doing all the flying himself, or certainly chunks of it. When you’re flying, you don’t get an easy pass just for being the Duke of Edinburgh. You very much have to put in the work and prove your skill,” the Duke of Sussex recalled in a clip published by the Daily Mail. “But also he had an amazing privilege to get behind the controls and fly aircraft all around the world. I can just imagine my grandmother sitting in the back of a plane, having a cup of tea, going through turbulence and going, ‘Oh, Philip! What are you doing?’” Harry also discussed missing his grandfather’s sense of humor but added that he yearns for Philip because of the Queen. “I miss him more for my grandmother because I know how incredibly strong she was with him there. I also know she will be OK without him,” he said of Philip, who died in April at age 99. “The two of them together were just the most adorable couple. To me, knowing the cheekiness of him and knowing that behind what the world sees you have two individuals who were very much in love and both, from a very young age, have dedicated their life to service … that is an incredible bond between two people.”

Mick Jagger Opens Up About Charlie Watts
Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts died at age 80 on Aug. 24. But his talent, dedication and drive live on in the memories of his bandmates. Watts’ “quiet guy” composure and thoughtful artistry were the backbone — or, rather, the heartbeat — of the group, according to Mick Jagger. “He held the band together for so long, musically, because he was the rock the rest of it was built around,” Jagger said in a joint Variety interview — the band’s first since Watts’ passing — with guitarists Keith Richards, 77, and Ron Wood, 74. “The thing he brought was this beautiful sense of swing and swerve that most bands wish they could have. “It’s a huge loss to us all,” Jagger added. “It’s all very, very hard.” In the weeks before his death, an ailing Watts announced that he would not be joining the group on their No Filter North American tour, which kicks off on Sunday, Sept. 26, in St. Louis, Missouri. At that time he asked music industry veteran and longtime friend Steve Jordan to fill his shoes.

Confused Kangaroo Rescued
A pair of Australian men came to the rescue of a confused kangaroo that was having trouble finding its way out of a lake in the country’s capital. Witnesses said the kangaroo was spotted shivering in the cold waters of Canberra’s Lake Burley Griffin early Tuesday morning. Bystander David Boyd captured video as two other men waded out into the water to guide the apparently confused marsupial back to shore. Boyd posted video of the rescue to Facebook. “Only in Canberra,” he wrote in the post. See the video HERE.

Octopus Found Hiding In Shell
A South Carolina beachgoer had a once-in-a-lifetime encounter when she picked up a shell and found an octopus nestled inside. Lori McGee was walking on the Isle of Palms when she picked up a whelk shell and checked to see if there was a crab inside, WCIV-TV reported. An octopus crawled out of the shell and onto McGee’s arm. McGee posted about the experience on Instagram. “I’ve lived here for 12 years, walk the beach year round, but today I witnessed something I never could have imagined,” she wrote. McGee said the octopus stayed in the shell long enough for her to take a picture before crawling out and going back into the ocean. “We just watched the movie ‘My Octopus Teacher’ a few days ago, so I do think this rare encounter was meant to be,” McGee wrote. Couple Makes TV “Hearse”
Rather than take a car or an RV, this couple decided to road trip in a converted hearse. Shannon Orr and Iain Cameron, from Warrington, U.K., drove across Scotland’s North Coast 500 in their 1998 Volvo 960 Hearse with their two dogs, Billy and Peanut, according to SWNS. The hearse got the couple so much attention on their trip that they nicknamed it “The Grim Sleeper” and even started an Instagram account for it, the news agency reported. Orr told SWNS she and Cameron were originally going to camp through the North Coast 500, but when they came across the advertisement for the hearse online, they changed their mind. “We saw it on Facebook and had to get it, because it was something neither of us had seen before,” Orr told SWNS. According to SWNS, the couple paid $4,826 for the already-converted hearse. “We didn’t do any of the conversion,” Orr said. “We bought it already converted, so we can’t claim anything for that sadly.” “All we have added up to now is the Halloween figures on the dash, the ducks on the wing mirrors and the skeletons on the front and back,” Orr added. It could well be the scariest Halloween costume of the year – a racy take on Bernie Sanders’ now-infamous outfit from Joe Biden’s inauguration. According to the costume description, the look is meant for “you to be a viral internet meme! This political chairman costume comes with a grey coat, cozy mittens and a face mask for a total insta-worthy moment”. The idea behind the costume came from the image of the 80-year-old Vermont senator’s outfit at the event in January. Memes and jokes based on his choice of clobber went viral at the time. 5 Ways to Build Good Credit When You’ve Been Denied for Everything

- Open a Secured Credit Card
One of the easiest ways to rebuild credit is by opening a secured credit card. You put down a small deposit — say $200 or $300 — and that becomes your line of credit. Since you’re putting down a deposit, the risk to the lender is minimal. That’s why your odds of approval are much higher compared to with a traditional card.
Always keep credit card balances below 30% of your open credit. The percentage of credit you’re using is called your credit utilization ratio, and you want that number to be as low as possible.
- Get a Credit Builder Loan
A credit builder loan is like a regular loan in reverse. Typically with a loan, you get money up front and then make payments on it. With a credit builder loan, you make payments on the loan, but they go into a bank account. Once you’ve paid off the loan, you finally get your money.
Most big banks don’t offer credit builder loans. Check with a local credit union or an online bank about whether they have this option.
Making on-time payments is the No. 1 thing that will help your credit. Your payment history determines 35% of your score.
- Use a Rent Reporting Service
Your housing payment is typically your largest expense. But if you rent your home, your rent payments probably aren’t helping your credit score because most landlords don’t report payments to the bureaus.
One option is to use a rent reporting service, like Rent Reporters, Credit Rent Boost or Rental Kharma to send the bureaus records showing you’ve paid your rent. Your landlord may need to verify your payments.
Before you sign up, look carefully at all the fees involved. Many services have a setup fee on top of a monthly fee.
- Get a Co-Signer
If you can’t qualify for credit on your own, you may be able to get a family member or friend who has good credit to co-sign for you. A co-signer accepts responsibility for making payments if you fail to. Most major credit cards no longer accept co-signers, so this is much more common when you’re applying for a loan.
Only choose this option if you’re 100% confident that you can make payments. Set up automatic payments so you don’t forget. It’s not just your credit on the line here. If you miss payments, you’ll take down the credit score of the person who cared about you enough to co-sign.
- Become an Authorized User
When someone adds you as an authorized user to their credit card, you’re allowed to use the account but you’re not responsible for payments. Sometimes parents will add their child as an authorized user to help them establish credit. If someone is willing to make you an authorized user, check with the credit card company to see if they’ll report the status to the bureaus.
Becoming an authorized user can help you establish a credit footprint. But because lenders know you’re not on the hook for payments, it probably won’t make a huge difference in determining whether you get approved for credit in the future.
