Will Smith was recently spotted in Mumbai, India, smiling and posing for photos with adoring fans. He also waved to nearby onlookers shouting “Will! Will!” On Wednesday, Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, said her family is “focusing on deep healing” after her husband slapped Rock during the Academy Awards March 27. “Considering all that has happened in the last few weeks, the Smith family has been focusing on deep healing,” a statement from Pinkett Smith before Wednesday’s Facebook Live episode of Red Table Talk said. Earlier this month, the academy announced that Smith was banned from attending the Oscars or any other academy event for 10 years following his slap of Chris Rock at this year’s ceremony. The decision came after a meeting of the academy’s board of governors to discuss a response to Smith’s actions.

Alex Trebek Estate Sale
Fans of late “Jeopardy” host Alex Trebek lined up to grab memorabilia. A four-day estate sale is taking place at Trebek’s former Studio City, California, home. Items include autographed memorabilia, a writing desk and various paintings and sculptures. Images from the property show adoring fans eagerly awaiting their turn to purchase items once owned by the late star. Kevin MacLean, an animator for Disney, told FOX Los Angeles he purchased a sculpture of Trebek’s face for $450, saying it was worth it. “He’s just a TV icon,” MacLean said. Another fan perusing Trebek’s belongings, like theater room chairs for $750 each, told the outlet it’s more about Trebek than money. “Genuine and wholesome,” Sara Drust said. “Just real.” Trebek died in November 2020 at age 80 after a lengthy and public battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

Bill Murray Was “Touchy” On Movie Set
Bill Murray was allegedly “touchy” with the women on set of “Being Mortal,” before the shoot was shut down. Filming was suspended last week after a complaint was reportedly filed specifically against the actor, alleging “inappropriate behavior.” By Thursday, the film was suspended indefinitely amid an investigation into his on-set actions. A source told Page Six, “He was very hands-on touchy, not in any personal areas, but put an arm around a woman, touched her hair, pulled her ponytail — but always in a comedic way. “It is a fine line and everybody loves Bill, but while his conduct is not illegal, some women felt uncomfortable and he crossed a line.” A separate source says that Murray, who is apparently single, “Loves women and loves to flirt, he enjoys poetry and romance, he’s always flirting, but it is always couched in comedy. It isn’t clear if he crossed a line.” Meanwhile, Richard Dreyfuss’ son, Ben, dropped a bombshell allegation Thursday night that the Walt Disney Co. was forced to hire bodyguards to protect the cast and crew of his dad’s 1991 comedy “What About Bob?” from Murray. Ben Dreyfuss claimed on Twitter that Murray “had a meltdown . . . because he wanted an extra day off” but was denied by the late producer Laura Ziskin. Murray allegedly “ripped off her glasses off her face and my dad complained about his behavior and Bill Murray threw an ashtray at him,” Ben wrote. “Everyone walked off the production and flew back to LA and it only resumed after Disney hired some bodyguards to physically separate my dad and Bill Murray in between takes,” he added. He then offered sarcastically, “I was like 5 at the time and these are some of my fondest and earliest memories lol. Good movie though!”

Ben Affleck is clearing the air on his current Raya status following claims from “Selling Sunset” star Emma Hernan that she previously matched with him on the dating app. “Raya has confirmed that he has not been an active member for several years,” a rep for Affleck told People. A rep for Hernan has since confirmed that interaction took place in 2019. “He may or may not have been texting me,” she teased of Affleck in the fifth episode of “Selling Sunset” Season 5. “He may or may not have asked to grab … coffee a few times.” In April 2021, Affleck went viral after a TikTok user claimed he DM’ed her a video on Instagram after matching with her on the app. “Thinking of the time I matched with Ben Affleck on raya and thought it was fake so I unmatched him and he sent me a video on Instagram,” she captioned the clip, which received more than three million views. She then added a video of Affleck calling her by name and addressing the “unmatching” incident. “Nivine, why did you unmatch me?” he asked in the clip. “It’s me.” Affleck is off the market now, as he’s engaged to Jennifer Lopez for the second time.

Blac Chyna Threatened To Kill Kylie Jenner
Kris Jenner gave a bombshell testimony in court on Thursday, claiming Rob Kardashian’s ex Blac Chyna once threatened to kill Kylie Jenner. While on the stand in Los Angeles on Thursday, Kris testified that she was “alarmed” years ago when Kylie and then-boyfriend Tyga told her about the alleged threat. Kris added that Tyga told her on multiple occasions that Chyna allegedly tried to physically harm him with a knife. “Of course it was alarming but we just kept it in the family,” Kris testified, telling the jury that they did not report the alleged incident to police. “They lived across the street and she [Chyna] had a young child. I think we were more concerned about the Tyga situation.” Chyna dated Tyga from 2011 to 2014. He then dated Kylie on and off from 2014 to 2017, while Chyna moved on with Rob in 2016. She shares 9-year-old son King with Tyga and 5-year-old daughter Dream with Rob. During her testimony on Wednesday, Chyna claimed she was still in a relationship with Tyga when Kylie started dating him in 2014. Kris was later asked by Chyna’s attorney, Lynne Ciani, whether she was concerned about Rob entering a relationship with the same woman who allegedly threatened Kylie. ”I didn’t have much of a reaction,” Kris said. “There was just a lot of drama … and I’m used to that in my family.” Khloé Kardashian, who was seated next to sister Kim Kardashian in the courtroom, smiled at her mom’s matter-of-fact response. “It happened so fast, and we didn’t know where their [Rob and Chyna’s] relationship was going to go,” Kris continued. “It wasn’t that I was not concerned. They had a rocky relationship from the start … but I love second chances and I wanted them to win.” She added, “I just wanted my son to be happy. I wanted a win for them. … You hope for the best and move on.” Chyna is suing Kris, Kim, Khloé and Kylie for $40 million for loss of earnings and more than $60 million in future earnings.

A Pennsylvania man is one of only 11 people worldwide to achieve a “perfect score” in classic arcade game Pac-Man. Jake Goldberg completed all 256 levels of the 1980 arcade game in 4 hours, 12 minutes, and racked up 3,333,360 points, the highest score possible in the game. Twin Galaxies, the record-keeping organization for video games, said Goldberg is one of only 11 people in the world to have achieved a perfect score in Pac-Man. Goldberg said he is aiming to get the highest possible score in arcade game Galaga, a feat that would take more than 16 consecutive hours to achieve.

Town Overrun With Tumbleweeds
Residents of a Utah city are dealing with an influx of tumbleweeds after recent winds — and some have managed to turn the nuisance into profit. Locals in Eagle Mountain said their homes, yards and streets were covered in tumbleweeds brought into the city by a Tuesday windstorm. “Tumbleweeds are a twice-a-year occurrence in Eagle Mountain,” city spokesman Tyler Maffitt told KSTU-TV. “It typically takes place in the spring and the fall.” The tumbleweed problem from the most recent winds was so severe some roads had to be closed. “We often handle and oversee the disposal of multiple tons of tumbleweeds. You don’t quite understand how much that is until you are in the process of cleaning it up,” Maffitt said. The city made headlines in 2018 when it established a drop-off site for residents to get rid of their tumbleweeds. Maffitt said the city recommends that residents obtain a permit to burn the tumbleweeds or obtain a voucher to dispose of them at the local landfill. He said some residents have gotten creative with their solutions. See the video HERE.

Homeowner Finds Family Of Bears Under Her House
A California homeowner who heard a rumbling coming from under her house during the winter was shocked when spring arrived with an answer: there were five bears living underneath the home. The homeowner told animal rescue group the BEAR League that she and other residents of her house had heard a rumbling sound under the home during the winter that sounded like snoring. “The neighbors said they were imagining it because they didn’t hear anything,” the BEAR League wrote in a Facebook post. The homeowner discovered the sound was not her imagination when spring arrived and she heard the unmistakable sounds of a mother bear waking up under the house. “We arrived immediately. We un-invited Mama Bear, not yet aware there were four more bears under the house,” the BEAR League said. The group said the mother bear had given birth to three cubs last year and ended up adopting a fourth cub that had been orphaned.

Authorities in North Carolina said traffic on a highway was diverted for several hours when a crashed truck released 10 cows onto the roadway. The Winston-Salem Police Department said on Twitter that the tractor-trailer overturned on northbound U.S. Route 52, near the intersection with Interstate 40, releasing 10 cows into the roadway. Police said traffic was diverted onto eastbound I-40 while authorities worked to round up the loose cows. All of the cows except one were rounded up by Thursday afternoon, and the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office said Friday morning that the final cow had been located and safely captured. “Unfortunately, deputies did have to write her multiple citations, including for running at large, obstructing traffic, failing to heed to blue lights and sirens, resisting arrest, underage driving, & no driver’s license,” the sheriff’s office tweeted.

9 Energy-Efficient Home Improvement Tips That Will Also Save You Money

- Insulate Your Water Heater
An insulating jacket for your hot water heater will cost $30 or so, and you can install it yourself in about an hour. According to the experts at the Department of Energy, insulating a hot water tank saves 7% to 16% annually.
In other words, assuming the average hot water costs $438 to operate annually, you’ll have $30 to $70 more in your pocket each year. If you’re able to make a bigger up-front investment, you may consider replacing your traditional electric water heater with a heat pump water heater. Instead of generating heat directly, heat pump water heaters act more like refrigerators in reverse — they pull heat into the device instead of pushing it out.
A family of four could save more than $330 per year on its electric bills, compared to a standard electric water heater, according to the DOE. The DOE estimates the cost to switch is approximately $800, so that family of four would start seeing savings after a little over two years.
The Energy Star site has a questionnaire to help you decide if heat pump water heaters are a good fit for your home.
- Install a Programmable Thermostat
You don’t need as much heat when you’re in bed at night, and you don’t need as much heating or air conditioning when you are out of the house. But you don’t want to climb out of bed on a cold winter morning or come home to a hot house in the summer.
A programmable thermostat solves these problems by automatically adjusting the temperature settings for you. Ten minutes before you get up in winter, the heat turns on. Ten minutes before you get home after a hot summer day at work, the air conditioning adjusts to cool the house. You use the heating and cooling only when you actually need them.
A programmable thermostat can save you $50 on heating and cooling costs each year, according to the government’s Energy Star program. Starting around $20, many models are simple enough to install on your own.
- Switch Out Your Light Bulbs
Another bright idea for savings? Replacing your light bulbs.
Light emitting diode (LED) light bulbs are 90% more efficient than traditional incandescent bulbs and can last up to 20 years.
LEDs used to be expensive for a single bulb, but today, you can get a six-pack of LED bulbs for around $10.
PRO TIP
Before starting a home improvement project, check out the DOE’s Energy Star site to find out if the product you need is eligible for a tax credit or rebate.
By using the LEDs throughout your home, you can save about $225 in energy costs per year by replacing incandescent bulbs with LED lighting, according to the EPA’s Energy Star Program.
- Bundle Up Those Water Lines
Bare water lines leak heat, so you have to set the temperature of the hot water heater higher to still get a hot shower at the other end of the house.
Solve this problem with a little pipe insulation: an inexpensive foam tube with a slit down the side. Just cut it to the required length with scissors and push it onto the pipes.
This project will take you about three hours for a small home and cost $10 to $15 total, according to the Department of Energy. Each year, you’ll save 3% to 4% heating your water.
- Replace Your Ceiling Fans
Ceiling fans in general can help you save on heating and cooling costs.
In the summer, run the fan blades counterclockwise to generate a cool breeze — thus reducing the need to run the more expensive air conditioning. Running the blades clockwise helps circulate warm air that rises back down into the room, helping cut heating costs in the winter.
You can realize even more savings by replacing your old, inefficient fans with Energy Star certified fans, which are 60% more energy efficient than older models, according to the DOE. (And be sure to use your energy efficient light bulbs in the fixtures.)
- Buy a New Refrigerator
If your refrigerator is working fine, there’s normally no good reason to replace it, even if the new one is a bit more efficient. But if you have a fridge that’s more than 15 years old, it might be time to replace that one.

- Insulate Your Attic
If you run your heater or air conditioner most days, you might save some serious money by adding new insulation to your attic.
Upgrading attic insulation from R-11 to R-49 is something you can do by yourself in a day or two for about $750, according to HouseLogic.com. (The cost is about double if you want professionals to install it.)
You’ll save about $600 per year on heating and cooling costs, depending on where you live and the type of heat you have. It also adds value to your home if you decide to sell in the future.
- Seal Those Air Leaks
Check for cracks or spaces around door frames, windows and entry points for pipes and cables. You lose heat from these gaps during the winter and cool air in the summer, adding to your heating and cooling costs.
It takes about $30 in caulking and peel-and-paste insulating strips to seal these up all over the house.
PRO TIP
If you’re looking to replace an exterior door, a steel or fiberglass door is a more energy efficient option than wood. Some steel doors even have insulated cores, so no need for weatherstripping.
Doing this will cut your heating and cooling costs by an average of 10% to 20%, depending where you live. That’s potentially hundreds of dollars saved for an investment of an afternoon and $30. Not bad, right?

If you hear your toilet running when it isn’t being used, you probably have a leaky flapper.
It’s not just an annoyance — a leaky flapper can waste 180 gallons of water every week.
You can buy a new flapper valve for under $10, saving you $20 per year.
