Sharon Osbourne Briefly Hospitalized
Sharon Osbourne has been hospitalized in California after falling ill. She suffered an unspecified, but not life-threatening medical emergency. “I can confirm that we went to the Glen Tavern Inn in Santa Paula at 6:30 on Friday afternoon and that we transported a patient to Santa Paula hospital,” a Ventura County Fire Department representative told E! News Saturday. TMZ said Osbourne had been working on an unnamed show at the inn when she got sick. Her condition was unknown Saturday.

Nick Cannon opened up about the guilt he feels over not being able to spend enough time with his 11 children. Nick, who is expecting his 12th child with model Alyssa Scott, shared his thoughts on the difficulty of balancing his career and fatherhood during a recent episode of the Paramount+ series “The Check-up with Dr. David Angus.” “Being a father of multiple kids, it’s always the biggest guilt on me is that I don’t get to spend enough time with all my children,” he admitted. He continued, “One ’cause I’m constantly working and two because I’m just spread thin.” He shares 11-year-old twins Monroe and Morrocan with his ex-wife Mariah Carey. Cannon shares sons Golden, 5, and Rise, 11 weeks, and daughter Powerful, 24 months, with Brittany Bell. Elizabeth Hurley has denied that she was the “beautiful older woman in the countryside” that Prince Harry reportedly wrote about losing his virginity to in his upcoming memoir “Spare.” After rumors began to swirl that she was the unidentified woman, Hurley was asked about the speculation in an interview with The Times published on Friday. “Not me. Not guilty. Ha!” she said. When further pressed on the matter, Hurley doubled down, saying,” “No. Not me. Absolutely not.” In a 2019 interview with Us Weekly, Hurley revealed that she had met Meghan in the past before she met Harry. “I met her once when we were both just actresses,” she told the outlet. “I think before she probably met her future husband. King Charles To Invite Harry and Meghan To Coronation
King Charles III will extend an olive branch to his youngest son, Prince Harry, and his wife, Meghan Markle, by inviting them to his coronation on May 6, 2023, the Daily Mail reported Friday. Although invitations have not been sent out yet, a source told the outlet that Charles told the Duke and Duchess of Sussex that they are welcome to attend the historic event at Westminster Abbey in London. “Harry is his son and His Majesty will always love him,” the insider said. “While things are difficult at the moment, the door will always be left ajar.” Another source said they thought it would be “unlikely” that the invitation would be revoked, even with the forthcoming release of Harry’s memoir, “Spare.” The coronation date is set to take place on Harry and Markle’s son Archie’s 4th birthday.

According to People, they were seen mingling with guests and occasionally placed their arms around each other. They have reportedly been dating for a few months, a source told People in November. The insider claimed the two “met through a mutual friend” and that the actor is “really into” de Ramon. A second source confirmed Pitt and de Ramon “recently started dating,” but are in a non-exclusive relationship. They said, “Ines is cute, fun and energetic. She has a great personality. Brad enjoys spending time with her.” The pair enjoyed each other’s company at a November Bono concert, which they attended with another famous couple: Pitt’s longtime friends, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber.

DJ tWitch Reportedly Left Suicide Note
Just days after the shocking death of Stephen “tWitch” Boss, more information has been revealed about why the former “Ellen Show” DJ may have decided to end his own life. Law enforcement sources revealed to TMZ that a note was left at the suicide scene of Boss and vaguely hinted at challenges he faced in the past. The site doesn’t go into detail on what was exactly said. Investigators reportedly determined that the dancer took a rideshare from his home to a motel close to his home on Monday morning and switched his phone to airplane mode so no one could reach him or locate him. His body was found by an employee of the motel. Boss’ death was ruled a suicide per the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office.

Squirrel Invades Christmas Tree
A North Carolina family shared video from the unusual festive scene that unfolded when a squirrel that entered their home tried to hide out in the Christmas tree. Taylor Stading, who posted videos of the wildlife encounter to Facebook, said the squirrel apparently entered her family’s Waxhaw home through a loose roof shingle, climbed through a sink pipe opening and emerged in an upstairs bathroom. Stading said the family dog, Dixie, then chased the squirrel through the house until it managed to hide out in the Christmas tree. Stading’s videos show her attempting to get the squirrel out of a nearby window while advice and commentary is offered by her kids, Colton, 11, Savannah, 8 and Caroline, 8. Stading eventually used a dust mop to give the squirrel an extra push out the window to return to the wild. See the video HERE.

Longest Shot Ski
A Colorado town connected hundreds of skis in a chain and glued shot glasses to them to break an unofficial world record for the longest shot ski. The town of Breckenridge, which has passed the unofficial record back and forth for years with a Park City, Utah, distillery, broke the record again at its annual winter-welcoming Ullr Fest. Breckenridge Distillery led the attempt and connected 468 skis into a 2,401-foot chain, allowing 1,350 people to take shots of the distillery’s Broncos Bourbon at the same time. See the pics HERE.

Florida cops are searching for two young women who swiped a $25,000 Rolex after a male companion fell asleep during a late-night rendezvous at his condo. The victim told police he met his two provocatively clothed pals outside a rooftop bar in Fort Lauderdale around 3 a.m. Dec. 4, and got into a conversation. The three exchanged phone numbers and agreed to meet later that morning. Police released surveillance footage of the timepiece temptresses from the bar, describing both as in their mid-20s with long, black hair. One of them sported a scorpion tattoo on her left thigh, officials added.

Cop Grinch Hands Out Onions To Speeders
Several motorists who were speeding through an elementary school zone on the Florida Keys Overseas Highway received an odorous onion as a reminder to slow down from a county sheriff’s deputy dressed as the Grinch. Col. Lou Caputo, a 37-year veteran of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office who conjured up the concept more than 20 years ago, was back on the streets last week. Drivers who travel about 5 mph or less above the school zone’s speed limit can choose between traffic citations and an onion presented by the Grinch. Those speeding beyond that likely receive a costly ticket. “It’s about education, awareness that our school zones are still operating even though it’s the holiday season,” Caputo said. “We want people to slow down.”

- The ones who force merriment.
Among the worst kind of holiday colleagues are the ones forcing everyone to be jolly and partake in festivities. But the fact is, there are many reasons why others in the office may have little desire to be cheerful at work right now. “If your company recently laid off people, including a close co-worker, it may be tough to feel joyful during the holiday season. One of the biggest mistakes managers and teams make is forced holiday fun,” career strategist Ana Goehner said. “When a co-worker makes you feel like you aren’t a team player if you don’t participate, that’s forced fun. You feel obliged to show up with a big smile on your face, spend money, buy unnecessary things, etc., just to feel like you are a part of the team, and fun to be around. It feels like you are buying acceptance.” Holiday festivities like Secret Santa exchanges should be opt-in with no peer pressure to participate. “Not everyone has the money to buy a gift for such exchanges and assuming everyone will participate is very inconsiderate,” said Pattie Ehsaei, a senior vice president of mergers and acquisitions lending for a major national bank and the “Duchess of Decorum” on TikTok. And, if you’re a manager, you should go one step further and make clear that no one who works for you should feel obliged to get you a gift.
Even with the holidays, work is still work, and you should not assume that everyone wants to hear you blast Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” either.
“Have your decorations or holiday spirit started to spill over into other people’s cubes or workspaces making them uncomfortable or annoyed? Keep your cheer and holiday fever in your particular workspace,” Baker advised.
- The ones who assume single people don’t need holiday time off as much as others.
Colleagues who make judgments about who deserves the holiday break are among the most unpleasant. Too often, people assign holiday shifts to employees who are single or don’t have children under the mistaken assumption that they need the time off less than their peers who are married or parents.
A reader named Emily previously told HuffPost that she was always the one who had to sacrifice holiday time off at her job because she was the only team member who was unmarried and without a child.
“It did so much damage to my relationships — family upset I could never join them for gatherings, significant other frustrated that I allowed work to become a priority over our relationship and home. It nearly broke us up,” Emily said.
A more compassionate colleague understands that everyone deserves time off, regardless of what people assume about their personal life. “Just because someone has made a life decision to not get married or have children doesn’t mean that they should be treated differently as it relates to holidays, holiday schedules, and festivities,” Baker said. “Be mindful of making work schedule assumptions and judgments based on someone’s personal choice around marriage and children.”
- The ones who assume everyone is celebrating the same holidays they do.
Although many workplaces offer Christmas as a company day off, it does not mean that everyone is celebrating the religious holiday. Co-workers who make this assumption risk excluding their colleagues.
″‘Everyone is Christian’ people go around wishing everyone a ‘Merry Christmas,’ all conversations are Christmas-related and they also act like you’re a weirdo if you’re not putting up a tree, decorating, or Christmas shopping,” Ehsaei said.
- The ones who pressure their colleagues to meet a bunch of deadlines in December.
“One type that is very difficult to work with during the holidays is the person who does not respect the wind-down as the holidays get closer,” said Angela Karachristos, a career coach who has worked in human resources. “This person –– many times a manager –– minimizes the importance, significance and frankly the reality that as the holidays draw closer, people’s attention and energy is focused on preparation and celebration.” Career coach Jasmine Escalera, for example, recalled working for a boss who did not believe in the idea of “circling back in the new year” and put a lot of artificial deadlines on her team over the holidays, “even though the focus of this time of the year is to close things out.”
“It can destroy people’s holiday season,” Escalera said. If managers really want to celebrate the holidays, they should consider the gift of time so their employees can do what they need, Escalera said. “I think companies should just give you two weeks off at the end of the year and leave you alone. That would be brilliant,” she said. “Time off, no use of PTO, you’re still getting paid and you just get to relax and celebrate the spirit of the holidays in however you so choose.”
- The ones who check out and expect colleagues to work hard in their absence.
The holiday season can be a time to take it easy, but the worst colleagues are those who leave all their to-dos on your plate while they head off to be merry. More mindful colleagues would not put any expectations on their team members to finish projects they started.
“The best way to show that you care about your colleague is to leave only a few tasks for them to do in your absence. You worked hard and deserve to take time off, but don’t put your end-of-year tasks on your colleagues,” Goehner said.
