Sharon Osbourne Off The Talk
CBS has announced that Sharon Osbourne will no longer be a panelist on The Talk. “The events of the March 10 broadcast were upsetting to everyone involved, including the audience watching at home,” the network said in a statement Friday. “As part of our review, we concluded that Sharon’s behavior toward her co-hosts during the March 10 episode did not align with our values for a respectful workplace. We also did not find any evidence that CBS executives orchestrated the discussion or blindsided any of the hosts. The show has been on hiatus for the past two weeks as CBS worked with The Talk team to create a more harmonious atmosphere. “During this week’s hiatus, we are coordinating workshops, listening sessions and training about equity, inclusion and cultural awareness for the hosts, producers and crew. Going forward, we are identifying plans to enhance the producing staff and producing procedures to better serve the hosts, the production and, ultimately, our viewers,” the statement said. Osbourne was the last original co-host of the show.

Halle Berry came up in conversation during an episode of the “The Morning Bull Show” podcast that was shared on Twitter, during which host Rob Lederman spoke about his attraction to certain Black women. Before admitting his preference for lighter-skinned women, the radio host acknowledged that he “may get into trouble for this.” “I will never go to a Serena Williams level,” he said, referencing her darker skin tone. “But I’m very comfortable at a Halle Berry level. I need a little bit of mulatto still coming through.” A co-host then asked if Gayle King was in Lederman’s “realm.” “No, Gayle King is not even on my toaster level,” Lederman responded. A rep for the podcast’s parent company, Cumulus Media, confirmed to People magazine that Lederman’s comments resulted in him being fired. Additionally, Buffalo News reports that two co-hosts, Rich “Bull” Gaenzler and Chris Klein, had been suspended, as well. Now, Berry is sharing her thoughts on the matter. “Disgusting,” she said on Twitter on Friday. “It’s ridiculous this type of nonsense is still being broadcasted across airwaves.” She added: “ALL Black women are beautiful and worthy, Rob Lederman. Multiple sources indicated at the time that there was no connection between the two, however. Now, a source familiar with the couple claims that she took umbrage with the idea that Alex would even think about stepping out on her — considering the “catch” she, and seemingly the world, considers her to be. Also, the insider adds that Jennifer was also in no position to publicly put out a fire she didn’t start and basically told A-Rod to “fix it” while she held down the court in the Dominican Republic. “It was a test to see if A-Rod was really committed to the future of their relationship,” the source said. “Look – [Lopez] is busy shooting a movie, so she couldn’t go into damage control over headlines she had no hand in producing,” the insider added. “So, she basically told Alex to ‘fix it’ and that’s when we started seeing Alex out front in the public declaring that he was not single and was still with her,” the source claimed.

Judge Judy Drops CBS Lawsuit
Judge Judy Sheindlin has dropped a $22 million countersuit against talent agent Richard Lawrence and his Rebel Entertainment Partners — so she can keep her network CBS out of the long-running legal battle. She says in a statement of the move on Friday: “We decline to file an amended complaint as Mr. Lawrence has insisted that I join Big Ticket (CBS) as a defendant. The court has declined to rule that CBS is not a necessary party. Mr. Lawrence is the culprit in this fiasco of a packaging deal which has netted him $22 million. CBS inherited this deal. I have been in business with CBS for 20 years. I’m not suing them when they are not the wrongdoer. Sometimes justice gets lost in the weeds of legalese gobbledygook. This is one of those times. Sad.” Rebel filed a $5 million suit in August against Sheindlin and CBS, alleging it was still owed over the show’s library rights sale.

“Tiger King” star Joe Exotic’s husband Dillon Passage is leaving him, per Passage’s Instagram and a statement Exotic’s lawyer made to TMZ. “To answer the main question the public wants to know, yes, Joe and I are seeking a divorce,” Passage wrote on Instagram Friday evening. “This wasn’t an easy decision to make but Joe and I both understand that this situation isn’t fair to either of us … We are on good terms still and I hope it can stay that way. I will continue to have Joe in my life and do my best to support him while he undergoes further legal battles to better his situation.” Exotic’s attorney Francisco Hernandez told TMZ that Exotic was “distraught” after receiving a phone call from Passage in prison explaining to him that he was planning to leave him. TMZ adds that “Exotic’s considering beating him to court, and filing a divorce petition before Dillon can.” TMZ also revealed that “after the emotional phone call, Joe fired off an email to a friend … saying he feels abandoned and alone and just wanted to mean something to someone. “The way Joe explained it, Dillon’s getting lonely with Joe locked up and wants a boyfriend.”

He drove to her estate in Montecito, Calif., Thursday where he was photographed handing a security guard a personal note offering himself up for an exclusive interview, the Sun reported. Winfrey interviewed Meghan Markle and Prince Harry earlier this month. Meghan spoke about feeling “betrayed” by her estranged father, who leaked a private letter from his daughter to reporters in the lead-up to her 2018 wedding to Prince Harry. Markle has long sought out Winfrey to air his side of the story. “I was going to write Oprah a letter asking her to let me have an opportunity to speak,” he told the newspaper last year.

Wild Ostrich Running Around Town
Police in Britain are warning residents of a town to beware of multiple rhea birds spotted running loose in the area. The Hertfordshire Constabulary said the rheas, smaller cousins of the ostrich, have been seen running wild in residential areas and along the busy M25 road in Three Rivers, England. Police warned residents to steer clear of the birds if they are spotted in public. “Unfortunately we have received reports of them attacking dogs and deer, so we ask that dog owners are vigilant when out walking,” Police Constable Christian Gottmann of the Rickmansworth and District Safer Neighborhood Team said. Police said they have been unable to identify the owner of the birds or determine their origins.

Donkey Whisperer Catches One
A Florida sheriff’s deputy was dubbed the “Donkey Whisperer” when he wrangled an escaped donkey that fled from its owner’s property and went for a run. The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office said Lt. Jeff Morgan responded to a call about a horse and a donkey running loose on Buckward Road in Baker. The sheriff’s office said the horse returned home to a nearby property on its own, but the donkey decided to keep exploring. Morgan captured it about a quarter mile from the pasture from which it escaped. “I have horses and donkeys, so I won the opportunity to get the mini donkey on a rope and walk him home,” Morgan said. “Your full service sheriff’s office and the joys of rural law enforcement!” The sheriff’s office branded Morgan the “Donkey Whisperer” after the successful rescue.

Boat Blocks Highway Just Like The Suez Canal
Authorities in Florida said lanes of traffic on a busy highway were blocked for several hours when a 40-foot boat fell off a trailer. The Florida Highway Patrol said the boat fell from a trailer on Interstate 10 in Crestview on Thursday. The vessel ended up sideways across lanes of traffic, causing hours-long delays. There were no injuries resulting from the boat, which was removed from the scene by the FHP. See the pic HERE.

Beaver Closes Down Subway Station
An entrance to a Toronto subway station was closed temporarily Thursday morning when a beaver wandered into the building. Commuter Will Abbott said he arrived at the Royal York subway station Thursday morning and spotted what he initially thought was a groundhog wandering the concourse near the Glenview entrance. “I didn’t see the tail at the beginning so I wasn’t sure what is was, and then quickly when it turned to the side I saw the big flat tail, I recognized it from the nickel,” Abbott told CityNews. Abbott snapped photos of the beaver that were posted to Twitter by his wife, Jen. The Toronto Transit Commission said the Glenview entrance was closed temporarily while authorities were summoned to the scene. The beaver was released into the Humber River. See the video HERE.
