Anne Heche Was Not Impaired During Crash

Anne Heche was not impaired by drugs at the time of the car crash that took her life and burned down a California home.  Heche’s autopsy report from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner was obtained. The report showed that she had previously used cocaine and marijuana, but was not impaired at the time of the crash.  “The toxicology tested from the hospital admission blood showed the presence of benzoylecgonine, an inactive metabolite of cocaine,” the coroner’s Public Information Officer Sarah Ardalani said. “Therefore, there was no evidence of impairment by illicit substances at the time of the crash.”  “The urine toxicology results detected medications given to her after being treated in the hospital (including fentanyl) and prior use of marijuana, but not at the time of injury.”  Heche’s immediate cause of death was listed as “inhalation and thermal injuries.” A “sternal fracture due to blunt trauma” was listed as a contributing cause, according to the report.  Heche was taken off life support Aug. 14.

Rod Stewart’s Son Had Medical Scare

Rod Stewart has revealed his 11-year-old son Aiden was rushed to hospital with a suspected heart attack after collapsing at a football match.  He recalled his son going ‘blue and unconscious’ while playing for his Young Hoops Under-12s team.  Although Rod didn’t share details of when the incident occurred, he revealed that an ambulance was called.  Stewart told to FourFourTwo magazine: “We thought my boy had a heart attack.  He was going blue and was unconscious until he calmed down. It was scary, but it turned out to be a panic attack. The lad wanted to do well, pulled on the Hoops in Scotland for his dad. “Another boy fell backwards and banged his head – he’s still not back. In all of my days watching football, that’s the only time two ambulances had been called.” The father of eight welcomed his youngest, Aiden, with his current wife Penny Lancaster, who he also shares son Alastair, 16, with.
***********He was under pressure because his dad was nearly a pro soccer player!! (true)
*******Why can’t he play normal American football?? No chance of being hurt THERE!!!

Wendy Williams’ Son Gets Evicted

Wendy Williams’ son was evicted from his $2 million apartment in Miami after he failed to pay $70,000 in rent. Kevin Hunter Jr. was hit with an eviction lawsuit in August after failing to pay monthly rent since February.  The complaint includes a copy of Hunter’s lease, which shows Williams paid $100,000 upfront for the first year of the apartment.  Hunter’s response, which was filed about two weeks later, owns up to the failed rent and explains that he was unable to pay it because his famed mother went through “some health issues” that resulted in her finances being placed under the court’s control.  “All of this happened suddenly and all of the financial support that she always gave me  stopped, including my housing,” Hunter, 22, wrote.  On Sept. 14, the court ruled in the apartment building’s favor and had Hunter evicted.
*********It’s the oldest defense in the book: “My mommy stopped sending me money!!!”
*****There must be some other way to pay your bills!! Oh, yeah: GET A JOB!!!!

Harry and Meghan Defend Using “Stock Footage”

People behind Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have come forward to say using stock images and footage is “standard practice” when making documentaries.  They came under fire when viewers realized that a photo showing them being bombarded by press in the trailer for Netflix’s “Harry & Meghan” was actually snapped at a “Harry Potter” premiere that took place years before they even met.  Another piece of footage was filmed outside a Katie Price court hearing, which was used as Harry narrated, “I was terrified, I didn’t want history to repeat itself.”  “You use stock images to tell a story,” a source familiar with the project says. “It’s not meant to be literal in a trailer.”  The source adds that Harry and Meghan had no editorial control of the trailer, saying the choice of footage was “standard practice in documentary and trailer production.”  “Harry & Meghan” will release its first three episodes on today, Dec. 8. The next three will stream on Dec. 15th.
*********Generally, stock footage is like, “the London skyline,” or “birds in a tree!!” It’s not used when you’re saying, “Look!! The paparazzi is about to kill Meghan!!” and it’s not even a shot of Meghan!!!
*********Meghan is such a phony, we’ll probably find out she’s not even a woman!!
********She was shocked by all the attention because she’s never actually been famous before!!

More Women Sue Bill Cosby

Bill Cosby and NBC Universal have been sued by three women and two former actors on The Cosby Show for sexual assault and battery. As reported by Deadline, the lawsuit was filed by attorneys Jordan Merson and Jordan Rutsky in the New York state supreme court on Dec. 6. “Plaintiffs were all sexually battered, assaulted, and abused by Bill Cosby as a part of the same conduct, occurrence, plan, or scheme that was perpetrated, conducted, organized, and/or performed in New York and other states by Bill Cosby and his associates and enablers,” the complaint reads, which comes from Lili Bernard and Eden Tirl, and Jewel Gittens, Jennifer Thompson and Cindra Ladd. The complaint also states that Cosby used his “enormous power in such a nefarious, horrific way” more than once. The complaint names NBCUniversal, which is owned by Comcast, as well as Kaufman Astoria Studios and The Carsey-Werner Company as co-defendants in the lawsuit, stating that they are “culpable and liable” for the actions committed by Cosby.
*********Are you kidding? All they did was keep an eye out while he did it!!
*******His character was Dr. Huxtable,” so naturally he wanted to “play doctor!!”
******He should have his own reality show: “Cocktails with Cosby!!”

Dog Pulls Fire Alarm At Day Camp

Firefighters in Iowa were summoned to a doggie “day camp” but arrived to find the fire alarm had accidentally been pulled by a canine camper.  Dogwoods Lodge in Grimes said a dog named Birdie had trouble containing her excitement when she arrived for day camp on Friday.  “She just arrived for day camp and was just bouncing around and bounced into the fire alarm, pushed it in, pulled it down and that was it,” Dogwoods Lodge owner Jessica Tapper told KCCI-TV.  Security camera footage from the facility shows Birdie excitedly jumping on a wall and pulling the fire alarm.  Dogwoods Lodge posted a photo to Facebook showing the canine wearing a sign reading: “Dear Grimes Fire Department, I’m sorry that I pulled the fire alarm today. Sincerely, Birdie.”  The fire department responded on Facebook saying Birdie is forgiven.

A LIST FOR THURSDAY

LIST OF THE MOST MANGLED WORDS

Here’s this year’s list of the most mispronounced words released by The Captioning Group, which since 1991 has captioned and subtitled real-time events on television in the U.S. and Canada.  The Captioning Group has compiled the list since 2016 by surveying the words and names most often mangled on live television by newsreaders, politicians, public figures and others. It is commissioned by Babbel, the online language learning company based in New York and Berlin.

New British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak was infamously referred to as “Rasheed Sanook” by the U.S. president, but he wasn’t the only one to stumble over the name, which should be pronounced REE-shee SOO-nahk.

Then there’s Grammy-winning singer Adele, who informed the world in October that her fans have for years been mispronouncing her name. It’s not “ah-DELL” but “uh-DALE.”

The other words on the list, with phonetic pronunciations provided by Babbel, were:

— Chicxulub (CHICK-choo-loob) — The crater in the Gulf of Mexico caused by the asteroid that scientists say likely caused the extinction of the dinosaurs was in the news recently.

— Domhnall Gleeson (DOH-null GLEE-sun) — The Irish actor called out talk show host Stephen Colbert for mispronouncing his first name.

— Edinburgh (ed-in-BRUH) — American news anchors faced criticism for mispronouncing the Scottish capital during coverage of Queen Elizabeth II’s memorial in September.

— Negroni sbagliato (ne-GRO-nee spah-lee-AH-toh) — The alcoholic beverage was introduced to the world by actor Emma D’Arcy, whose social media mention of the drink received more than 14 million views.

— Novak Djokovic (NO-vak JO-kuh-vich) — The Serbian tennis star was in the news in January when he was barred from competing in the Australian Open and deported for failing to comply with the nation’s COVID-19 vaccination rules.

— Ohtani rule (oh-TAHN-ee) — Major League Baseball’s rule named after 2021 AL MVP Shohei Ohtani allows a starting pitcher to remain in a game as the designated hitter even after leaving the mound.

— Tuanigamanuolepola (Tua) Tagovailoa (TOO-uh-ning-uh-mah-noo-oh-LEH-po-luh TUNG-o-vai-LOH-uh) — The Miami Dolphins quarterback became the center of discussion about NFL concussion protocols after suffering injuries in consecutive games.

— Zaporizhzhia (zah-POH-reezha) — The Ukrainian city is the location of Europe’s largest nuclear power plant, which was shut down in September as the nation’s war with Russia raged in the area.
