Will Smith Jokes About His Oscar

Will Smith caused a major controversy when he slapped Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars after the comedian made a joke about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.  Despite all the backlash he received after the incident, Smith is now joking about it in a new video he shared to TikTok.  In the video, he showed himself listening to another TikTok creator explaining “an absolutely unhinged exercise.”  As he listened thoughtfully, the other person said, “Did you know that you can pick any object, look at it and ask it what it thinks of you?”  She explained that after doing this, “You will get an answer in your mind from intuition.”  As she gave examples of what kind of objects you could use for this exercise, Smith looked off to the side, out of view of his camera.  He then reached over and pulled out his Oscar, giving the camera an exaggerated emotional look before turning back to the statue. He ended the video as he opened his mouth, possibly to ask the award what it thinks of him.  The video seemed to be a joke, and that was how many of his followers took it.  “Least he’s got a sense of humor,” one person wrote along with three laughing emojis.  “If you can’t laugh at yourself right lol love it,” another person said.
**********Geez… according to pompous halfwits at the Academy, he’s worse than Hitler!!!!
*******It would have been funnier if he hit himself in the face with the Oscar!! Now THAT’S comedy!!!
******If the Oscars had any imagination, they’d have Will host the show, and everyone who comes onstage would slap him!! WE’D tune in for that!!

Rolling Stones Are Working With Former Beatles

Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are reported to both play a part in the currently unannounced Rolling Stones album.  According to Variety, McCartney has recorded bass parts during recording sessions that took place in Los Angeles in recent weeks, and Starr is also slated to play drums.  It’s currently unclear whether McCartney and Starr will end up on the same track or which songs will make the final track list. The album, produced by 2021 Grammy Producer of the Year Andrew Watt, is getting close to the mixing phase and has “a lot of tracks done,” Mick Jagger shared in 2021.  Last month, guitarist Keith Richards shared with fans in an Instagram video that “there’s some new music on its way.”  It’s thought that the album will feature recorded parts from the late founding drummer Charlie Watts, who died in August 2021. The Rolling Stones and The Beatles are longtime acquaintances and have a history of friendly rivalry. It’s been almost 60 years since they first met, and they’ve rarely collaborated on music.  The Stones’ first hit was actually a cover of the Beatles’ “I Wanna Be Your Man” in 1963, and John Lennon and McCartney later sang backup on the Stones’ song “We Love You” in 1967.  Also in 1967, the Stones’ Brian Jones played saxophone on The Beatles’ “You Know My Name (Look Up the Number).”
*******The Stones and the Beatles are working together?? The Bible says this will happen right before the end times!!!
*****Of course, Ringo is angling to replace Charlie Watts!! Everybody knows that!!
*******Keith Richards will do his version of “Dead or Alive,” and you’ll have to guess!!

Harry and Meghan NOT Suing Over South Park

A spokesperson for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry is shooting down reports that the couple is suing over a recent South Park episode.  On whether Harry and Meghan are pursuing legal action against the show, a spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex tells PEOPLE: “It’s all frankly nonsense. Totally baseless, boring reports.”  South Park’s episode that aired on Wednesday, titled “Worldwide Privacy Tour,” centered on a “prince of Canada” and his wife that settle in the fictional Colorado town. The characters’ similarities to Harry and Meghan were hard to miss, from the prince’s ginger hair and beard to the wife’s pink outfit and hat, a close match to Meghan’s ensemble at Trooping the Colour in 2018. The show saw the cartoon couple carrying “we want our privacy” and “stop looking at us” signs as they traveled to different locations around the world.
********They WILL, however, be hiring a hitman!!!
*****Funny.. Meghan doesn’t SEEM like a completely self-absorbed diva with a mean streak!! Not at all!!

Kevin Costner’s Camp Responds To Yellowstone Feud

Kevin Costner’s attorney is denying the actor has made things difficult on the set of his hit Paramount show, “Yellowstone.”  In a story published by Puck on Tuesday, attorney Marty Singer pushed back on a report that Costner had shortened the amount of time he has been willing to shoot the series on location in Montana.  “The idea that Kevin was only willing to work one week on the second half of Season 5 of Yellowstone is an absolute lie,” Singer told Puck. “It’s ridiculous — and anyone suggesting it shouldn’t be believed for one second.”  The story follows a Deadline report earlier this month that Costner, who stars as the patriarch John Dutton on the series, may be departing because of issues surrounding “disagreements over shooting schedules.”  “We have no news to report,” Paramount said in a statement.  “Kevin Costner is a big part of Yellowstone and we hope that’s the case for a long time to come,” the statement continued. “Thanks to the brilliant mind of Taylor Sheridan, we are always working on franchise expansions of this incredible world he has built. Matthew McConaughey is a phenomenal talent with whom we’d love to partner.”
*********That sounds like a warning shot over Kevin’s bow!!!
********Now that everyone’s saying that nothing’s going on.. we KNOW something’s going on!!

CBS Renews Its Popular Shows

CBS announced renewals for NCIS, CSI: Vegas, The Amazing Race and six other series.  The other programs that got the nod to return for the 2023-2024 TV season are 60 Minutes (TV’s most-watched news program), the sophomore procedural NCIS: Hawa’ii, Survivor, Tough as Nails, Lingo and 48 Hours.  Additional CBS renewals may trickle in at a later date. But on the scripted front at least, that now leaves on the bubble the network’s third-most watched drama, Blue Bloods (whose possible end we speculated about earlier this year); S.W.A.T. (which ranks No. 10 in audience out of the 13 dramas CBS has aired this season); and the freshman cop drama East New York, which draws a slightly larger audience than S.W.A.T. (The midseason drama True Lies does not debut until Wednesday, March 1.)  To date, CBS has renewed a total 19 series for next season, including previously announced pick-ups for this season’s most-watched new series, Fire Country, and TV’s No. 1 comedy, Young Sheldon, plus Ghosts (TV’s second-most watched comedy), The Neighborhood, Bob Hearts AbisholaSo Help Me ToddThe Equalizer, FBI (CBS’ second-most watched drama), FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International.
*********Survivor has been on for, like, 100 years now, right??? It seems like it’s been on longer than 60 Minutes!!

STUPID NEWS

First iPhone Sells Big

A first-generation iPhone, still unopened and plastic wrapped in the box, was auctioned for more than $63,000.  Louisiana-based LCG Auctions said the iPhone, dating from 2007, fetched a high bid of $63,356.40 before the auction closed on Sunday.  Karen Green, the device’s original owner, said she received it as a gift in 2007 and decided to leave it in the box because she had just gotten a new phone and didn’t need to replace it.  Green, who operates a tattoo shop in New Jersey, said she became interested in the value of the vintage phone when she heard about another unopened iPhone selling for $40,000.  Green took the phone on a 2019 “Treasure Hunt” segment for the television show Doctor & The Diva, and was told the phone would likely sell for about $5,000.  See the pic HERE.

Longest Tongue Is A Paint Brush!

A California man whose 3.97-inch tongue earned him a Guinness World Record said he has found an unusual way to put his unique muscle to work — painting.  Nick Stoeberl, who was awarded the world record for longest tongue (male) when it was officially measured at 3.97 inches from tip to teeth in 2012, showed off his unusual painting skills during an appearance on ITV series This Morning.  Stoeberl showed hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby how he wraps his tongue in plastic wrap before dipping it in paint and using it to draw on a canvas.  The record-breaker said he has been given the nickname Lickasso for his unusual painting method. He said his paintings have sold for up to $1,200.

Man Breaks Disneyland Record

A California man who visited the Disneyland theme park in Anaheim for 2,995 consecutive days was rewarded with a Guinness World Records certificate.  Guinness World Records announced Jeff Reitz, 50, earned the record for most consecutive visits to Disneyland.  Reitz’s daily visits to Disneyland began in 2012, and ended just shy of 3,000 visits when the park closed down due to the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020.  Reitz, who chronicled his daily Disney trips on social media, started getting media attention after his 60th consecutive visit to the park, and he made international headlines in 2017, when he made his 2,000th visit and was awarded with a backpack full of gifts by Disney officials.  Reitz said he hasn’t been back to Disneyland since the start of the pandemic, but he is hoping to make it in time for Disney’s 100th anniversary celebrations later this year.

Kool-Aid-Man Challenge!

New York police officers arrested five juveniles and one adult on Monday for damaging fences as part of the “Kool-Aid Man” TikTok challenge.   Suffolk County Police said a homeowner in Centereach, New York heard “loud noises” around 1 a.m. on Monday. Surveillance cameras showed six males had kicked several sections of his fence down.   The males – ages 12 to 18 – returned just after 4 a.m. and ran through the fence simultaneously, police said. The prank was later determined to be part of the “Kool-Aid Man” TikTok challenge, which mimics the iconic mascot of the popular powdered drink. The homeowner reported the incident to the police. Officers observed a black Hyundai sedan matching the description of a vehicle near the scene. The officers arrested the six males around 4:15 a.m.  Detectives later discovered that there were at least two other instances where some of the males damaged fences in Centereach and Selden – both of which are in Suffolk County.  The five juveniles and one 18-year-old were charged with several counts of third-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
