Chris Harrison Wants $25 Million Payout
“The Bachelor” host Chris Harrison demanded a $25 million payout after being booted from the show — and threatened to spill all the franchise’s dirty secrets if he didn’t get it. “He has nearly 20 years of dirt,” an ABC source said Tuesday. “Instead of handing them a rose, he was absolutely ready to hand them a lawsuit detailing all the behind-the-scenes details.” He has been stewing since he got the boot for defending contestant Rachel Kirkconnell in her controversial race row — and insiders said he wasn’t going down without a fight. “Chris Harrison’s whole life was ‘The Bachelor,’ and he didn’t want to let go,” the source said. “He still is really sad to leave, and there have been very tough and very heated negotiations going on for weeks.” Network honchos had hoped that Harrison would be “gone quickly and quietly” so that they could leave the public-relations nightmare behind them as fast as possible, the well-placed source said. Negotiations between Harrison and ABC brass over his exit ended up being more explosive — and dramatic — than any season finale, a second network source said. “He knows a lot about inappropriate behavior on set: fights between contestants, misbehavior including use of illegal substances while overseas and complaints from producers that were allegedly brushed under the carpet by ABC execs,” a source said. “He was ready to tell the truth about how things really work over there — and he has plenty of evidence to back him up. Chris was making $5 million a season and wanted $25 million to go,” the source said. The second source said a settlement with Harrison was eventually reached — although it is not believed to be as high as $25 million.

BBC royal correspondent Jonny Dymond reported on the broadcaster’s flagship Radio 4 “Today” program that the monarch was “never asked” her opinion on her grandson’s decision to name their second child after her. “Palace source tells BBC that the Queen was not asked by Meghan and Harry over the use of her childhood nickname; reports suggested Harry had sought permission from Queen to call newborn ‘Lilibet’; but Palace source says the Queen was ‘never asked’,” Dymond tweeted. In photos obtained by the Daily Mail, he can be seen on vacation in Provence, France, with the Russian-born model on Tuesday, which also happened to be his 44th birthday. Putting on a very rare grin, West couldn’t contain his smile as he and Shayk, wearing a white crop top and black pants, walked through vineyards in the South of France. They were also accompanied by a group of people while walking the grounds of a luxury boutique hotel, though it’s unclear if they were members of his camp or hers.

Archie And Lilibet To Inherit Royal Titles
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s two children are expected to inherit their royal titles in the future. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are parents to 2-year-old son Archie Harrison and daughter Lilibet Diana, who was born on Friday. When the siblings’ grandfather, Prince Charles, becomes king upon the death of Queen Elizabeth II, they will likely become a prince and princess, People magazine reported on Wednesday. Under current guidelines, great-grandchildren of the monarch are not princes or princesses, except for children of the eldest son of the Prince of Wales. That’s why Prince William and Kate Middleton’s three children have royal titles: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. William is second in line to the British throne after their father Charles. The outlet shared that when Charles steps into the role of monarch, the title of “prince” and “princess” will be given to Archie and Lilibet as the children of a son of the king. A decree issued by King George V in 1917 limits the titles of prince and princess to the children of the monarch, children of the monarch’s sons and “the eldest living son of the eldest son of the Prince of Wales” — that’s William’s son George.

George and Amal Clooney have returned to their home in Lake Como, Italy with their twins after two years away from the lakeside villa. They married in Venice in 2014 and Clooney purchased the home back in 2002. “They didn’t spend time in Lake Como last year. It’s the first time in two years that they are back in Italy. Stiletto Crocs!!!
Luxury fashion brand Balenciaga unveiled its vision of the next big thing in post-pandemic fashion: Crocs stilettos and knee-high boots. The latest designs by Demna Gvasalia debuted on Sunday as part of Balenciaga’s spring 2022 collection, but there’s no word on how much they’ll cost yet. “Balenciaga’s Spring 22 presentation considers our shifting senses of reality through the lens of technology. We see our world through a filter—perfected, polished, conformed, photoshopped,” Balenciaga said in a description of the collection. Crocs pumps, boots and platformed pool slides are part of the second collaboration between the two brands. The last time Balenciaga and Crocs paired up they unveiled platform shoes which cost $850 and sold out almost instantly. Reaction has been mixed. “Don’t want to live in a world where this stiletto Croc is real. It’s real,” Twitter user @JrMcGrail wrote. Still, another user has more of an open mind. “I need to see someone wearing that croc stiletto,” she said. “That croc stiletto look like a real life emoji,” @HOLYxKEYEL wrote. Woman Has 10 Babies!!
A South Africa woman who was expecting eight babies is believed to be a new record holder after she gave birth to 10 infants. Teboho Tsotetsi of Tembisa Township, Ekurhuleni, said his wife, Gosiame Thamara Sithole, 37, gave birth to decuplets at a Pretoria hospital. Tsotetsi said doctors had initially believed Sithole was pregnant with sextuplets, but they later discovered their scans had missed two. He said it came as a shock when the doctors performed a Caesarian section and ended up delivering a total 10 babies. “It’s seven boys and three girls. She was seven months and seven days pregnant,” Tsotetsi told Pretoria News. The couple had previously said she became pregnant without any fertility treatments. “I am shocked by my pregnancy,” she said when she was expecting eight babies. “I just pray for God to help me deliver all my children in a healthy condition, and for me and my children to come out alive. I would be pleased about it.” Professor Dini Mawela, deputy head of the school of medicine at the Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University, said it is extremely rare for someone to become pregnant with such a large set of multiples without fertility treatments.

Skunk Rescued From McFlurry Cup
An Ontario police department said an officer dispensed some “law and odor” when he rescued a skunk with its head stuck in a McDonald’s McFlurry cup. The Peel Regional Police shared a video of an officer coming to the rescue of a skunk spotted running in a road with a McFlurry cup stuck over its head. The officer donned a glove and carefully approached the skunk, which was apparently unable to see the officer. The footage shows the officer carefully remove the cup and run to avoid being sprayed by the animal. “What do you get when a Police officer and a skunk cross? Law and Odor,” the department joked. Man Says God Told Him To Steal Car
An Alabama man accused of stealing a vehicle from a fire station announced his candidacy for mayor, flirted with a reporter and admitted to stealing the vehicle (with God’s help), all within the span of less than a minute. A video shot by WALA, the Fox-affiliated TV station in Mobile, Alabama shows Jeffrey McCants being escorted out of a police station. McCants, who is charged with stealing a marked Prichard Fire-Rescue vehicle, introduces himself to cameras and says he is “running for mayor of Mobile, Alabama, baby.” When asked by a female reporter why McCants supposedly stole the vehicle, he tells her he wouldn’t have stolen it if, “I had a woman like you.” He clarifies that he allegedly stole the vehicle because God told him to. “And guess what? God helps me do everything,” McCants says as an officer escorts him into a police vehicle. “I steal everything, man. I steal your heart, baby,” But McCants was not finished. “God helps me do everything. Good and bad,” McCants says in the video. “He helps me get away from the police…but not this time.” See the video HERE.

4 Things To Do Now If You Haven’t Seen A Doctor The Whole Pandemic

First and foremost, don’t wait to get any alarming symptoms checked out
If there’s something bothering you or you have a new symptom that’s causing alarm, don’t wait to get it checked out. “You need to connect with your doctor because delaying could have an impact on the outcome,” Goldberg said.
Paul Fenyves, a primary care physician at Weill Cornell Medicine and New York-Presbyterian, added that there are some particular symptoms that should be addressed right away. Issues like blood in urine or stool, chest pain or heart palpitations, signs of a pre-stroke episode ― such as blurred vision, slurred speech or weakness in one side of the body ― and any new lumps or moles shouldn’t go unaddressed.
“Even if you had some symptom that resolved, but was very significant, it’s not a bad idea to see a doctor and mention it,” Fenyves said.
Schedule your annual physical, even if you feel fine
Experts recommend getting a checkup as soon as you can, even if you feel like you’re in tiptop shape.
At your visit, you can ask the doctor any questions and update your medical history. If anything is bothering you, this appointment is also a good time to bring it up.
You also should get bloodwork done at this visit, which shows your cholesterol levels, any vitamin deficiencies, possible sexually transmitted infections and more. In healthy people, an annual physical serves the goal of preventive medicine, to ensure no health condition goes undetected, Fenyves explained.
And schedule appointments with specialists throughout the rest of the year
You don’t need to stack up all of your appointments at once (unless of course you’re experiencing specific symptoms), but you should consider at least reaching out to other specialists to get your annual screenings on the books for this year.
The main checkups you should prioritize depend on your age and gender. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists advises that women see their gynecologist every year, but says Pap smears and HPV testing are only required every three to five years, depending on age and health history.
And don’t forget about cancer screenings. The American Cancer Society just lowered the recommended age for colon cancer screening, via colonoscopy, from 50 to 45 due to increased cases of colon cancer in younger people. The ACS recommends women age 45 to 54 get mammograms yearly and women 55 and older get them every other year.
Make a routine dentist appointment for a teeth cleaning and checkup as well. And finally, it might be worth making an eye appointment ― especially given the toll working from home can take on your vision.
Make appointments ASAP for any chronic illness or for anything high risk
If you’re at high risk or have a family history or genetic mutation that makes you more susceptible to developing cancer or other conditions, you should discuss with your doctor to be sure you’re complying with the proper screening guidelines for your situation. For example, women with the BRCA1 or BRCA2 mutation should get a breast MRI and mammogram every year starting at age 30, according to the ACS. And if you have a chronic condition, “you need to connect with your doctor and get back on track,” Goldman said. That means kidney checks if you have diabetes, regular blood pressure monitoring if you have hypertension or in-person dermatology visits for anyone with skin cancer or at high risk of it.
