Carole Baskin Show Coming To Discovery+
Discovery+ announced that it will stream Carole Baskin’s Cage Fight on Nov. 13. Netflix premieres Tiger King 2 on Nov. 17th. The two-part documentary focuses on Baskin and her husband Howard’s investigation of the treatment of big cats. The announcement promises “confrontations with dangerous operators.” In the first clip, Baskin states her frustration that Tiger King became a reality series. Cage Fight will focus on her original intention, preventing the abuse of big cats. “If you’re abusing big cats, I’m coming for you,” Baskin says. Baskin filed a lawsuit against Netflix and production company Royal Goode Productions for using footage of her in the Tiger King sequel. Variety reviewed the court documents on Monday. The case alleges breach of contract, since Baskin and her husband, Howard, only agreed to appear in one documentary. Deadline reported that the Florida judge denied the Baskins’ request for a temporary restraining order to prevent the airing of Tiger King 2.

She sat down for a lengthy conversation with her “13 Going On 30” co-star Judy Greer about reevaluating their relationship to alcohol throughout their lives and the decision to take a step back from any regular drinking. However, at the top of the video and throughout, Garner can be seen putting on her glasses and sipping tea. When she does so, a very obvious ring can be seen on her left ring finger. It’s hard to tell if the ring is an engagement ring or not, but it would stand to reason given the trajectory of her relationship in recent years. While sometimes people just wear rings, it didn’t take long for some to speculate that the actress has privately gotten engaged to Miller. Us Weekly reports that she began dating the CaliGroup CEO in 2018, a few years after her split with longtime husband Ben Affleck. The outlet reports that he was ready to get married pretty quickly, but that he knew she couldn’t be rushed into such a thing. He told Andy Cohen on SiriusXM’s “Radio Andy” that while he knew his ex-wife’s autobiography would be dropping, “you’ll be shocked to hear that I have not [read it] nor will I ever read it,” he said. “Here’s the thing — obviously, I knew the book was coming out, but I lived the book,” the 98 Degrees member added. “I know what the truth is, so I don’t need to read someone’s version of it in a story.” They were married from 2002 until their split in 2006. Wendy Williams is still on hiatus due to ongoing health issues. Her talk show has announced guest hosts for the rest of November. Michael Rapaport will fill in as the show’s host for the week of Nov. 8, and a new panel will take over for just Nov. 15. “A Rich Christmas” comedian Bill Bellamy will then assume the position for the following two days. “I have always loved being a guest on my friend Wendy’s show!” Bellamy said in a statement released Wednesday. “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be here for her, and I look forward to working with her amazing team.” At the end of that week, famed talk show host Jerry Springer will guest co-host with Steve Wilkos. While Williams has been focusing on her health — she’s battling complications from Graves’ disease — the guest co-hosts have been scoring the show higher ratings, begging the question: Is the show better off without its persistently plagued host? “She is making progress, but is experiencing serious complications as a direct result of Graves’ disease and her thyroid condition,” a statement from the production company, Debmar-Mercury, explained. “It has been determined that more time is needed before she is able to return to her live hosting duties.”

Alec Baldwin Defends Working Conditions
Alec Baldwin defended working conditions on the set of the Western flick “Rust” — sharing a crew member’s social media posts ripping her co-workers for describing it as “chaotic and unsafe.” He shared several screenshots of remarks by Terese Magpale Davis, who worked in the wardrobe department for the movie. “Read this,” Baldwin wrote to introduce the multiple Instagram posts, all of which were screengrabs of Davis’ own social media posts. “I’m so sick of this narrative,” Davis wrote. “I worked on this movie. The story being spun of us being overworked and surrounded by unsafe, chaotic conditions is bulls—.” She insisted that the crew never worked for more than 12½ hours a day — and that “most days were under 12.” “The day Halyna died we had come off of a 12-hour turnaround after an 11 hour shoot day. We had (including camera) gotten off by 6:30 pm,” she wrote. “We had just had a 56 hour weekend right before that. No one was too tired to do their jobs. This is all provable by daily timesheets,” Davis added.

Loose Monkey In Tokyo
Police in Tokyo are trying to locate a loose monkey in the city after the primate was spotted near a religious shrine and a subway station. The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department said officers from the Kitazawa police station responded Monday when a monkey was spotted in a tree at the Setagaya Hachimangu shrine in Setagaya Ward. Law enforcement was unable to locate the primate, which was next spotted Tuesday at Komaba-Todaimae Station on the Keio-Inokashira Line in Meguro Ward, about 2 miles away from Monday’s sighting. Police said officers were searching the area around the station for the monkey. Officers warned members of the public not to attempt to approach or feed the animal. See the video HERE.

Corpse Flower Blooming
The San Diego Botanic Garden welcomed thousands of visitors for a spooky — yet stinky — event on Halloween this year. The garden’s rare corpse flower bloomed for the first time in years. The flower, known scientifically as amorphophallus titanum, began opening its flower mid-Sunday afternoon. The fully opened bloom lasts about 48 hours, so the garden expects the rare event to be over on Tuesday evening. Corpse flowers can take seven to 10 years to produce their first bloom and thereafter bloom once every four to five years, so this week’s event was a rare glimpse. The San Diego Botanic Garden said this particular plant is 14 years old and last bloomed October 2018. Their name comes from the pungent, rotting flesh smell the flower emits during its bloom. The plant, native to the Indonesian island of Sumatra, is considered endangered, with fewer than 1,000 left in the wild.

Lottery officials in South Carolina said a record 1,400 people won top prizes when a Pick 4 drawing resulted in the winning numbers 7-7-7-7. The South Carolina Education Lottery said the Nov. 2 midday Pick 4 drawing marked the first time 7-7-7-7 has come up in the game, and 1,400 tickets were purchased with that number combination. Officials said the number of winners was six times the number from the previous day’s drawing. The lottery said the drawing resulted in a record $3.5 million in prize money being owned. The game bears a top prize of $2,500 or $5,000, depending on the amount players paid for their tickets.

Mystery Jetpack In L.A. Solved
Authorities investigating a series of possible jetpack sightings over Los Angeles believe they may have identified an explanation for the mysterious reports – one that requires no fuel, no engines, and no high-flying technology. “One working theory is that pilots might have seen balloons,” the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Federal Aviation Administration said in statements, after NBC Los Angeles obtained police video and photos that appear to show a human-shaped inflatable toy floating thousands of feet above Beverly Hills. The crew aboard an LAPD helicopter captured the images last year, about two weeks after the second reported sighting of a jet pack a few miles further south over the Culver City or Century City areas. The inflatable appeared to be a life-sized ‘Jack Skellington’ – the main character in Tim Burton’s 1993 movie “A Nightmare Before Christmas.” While officials told NBC Los Angeles that the police encounter could have been a single balloon that broke loose from a Halloween display and drifted into the sky, it also emboldened one theory shared among federal authorities investigating the sightings: that pilots might have seen human-shaped inflatables or other balloons that had drifted into the landing approach routes into LAX. There have been three sightings reported by pilots lining up to land at LAX.

Experts Predict The Most Popular Baby Names Of 2050

Baby name experts often share their predictions about which names will be popular in a year or two. But the folks at Nameberry recently decided to take it even further and look three decades into the future. The popular baby naming website released a list of names that its experts believe many parents will be choosing in the year 2050 ― from Eleri to Helix to Prairie. To identify the trendy names of the future, the Nameberry editors looked through the thousands of names given to fewer than 25 babies born in 2020. They selected 10 uncommon names for girls and for boys that they expect will be more popular for future generations of babies. “We’ve been looking at generational changes in names and discovered that many trending names today were extremely rare a generation ago, in the 1990 U.S. statistics,” Redmond said. “It’s fascinating to look through the bottom of the extended list of names in 1990 and find names like Luna and Harper that are so hot right now. Only 12 girls were named Harper in 1990, and it’s now a top 10 name. Only 15 were named Luna.”
Redmond noted that she expects most people reading the list won’t like the name offerings, since later generations tend to choose names that their parents wouldn’t ― and didn’t. “The same thing holds true going back over time. Every generation of parents needs to reinvent baby names,” Redmond said. “We hope to encourage parents to look further down the popularity list if they want a really rare name.
