New Bachelor Host
Former Bachelor star Jesse Palmer will host Season 26 of the show. Producers confirmed Tuesday on Instagram that he will host the new season following Chris Harrison’s departure. “Welcome back, @jessepalmer! Jesse Palmer will be hosting the upcoming season of #TheBachelor,” the post reads. Palmer, a former professional football player who starred in The Bachelor Season 5, voiced his excitement in the comments. “I’M SO EXCITED!!! Feeling so humbled and grateful for this incredible opportunity,” he wrote. “Can’t wait to get started!!!!” Palmer also shared a photo of himself outside the Bachelor mansion. “Bachelor Nation- I couldn’t be more thrilled to be home with my @bachelorabc family! Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas’ daughter has reportedly filed paperwork to nix “Griffith” from her last name. Stella Banderas Griffith, 25, filed for a legal name change in Los Angeles, People magazine reports. Currently, her full name is Stella del Carmen Banderas Griffith. She’s now seeking to drop her mother’s famous last name to be known publicly as Stella del Carmen Banderas. The outlet, citing court documents, says her goal is to “shorten my name by removing the extra last name.” Stella goes on to note in the papers that she doesn’t routinely use the last name “Griffith” when referring to herself by word of mouth or in writings. Stella is a model and actress. Her sister is actress Dakota Johnson and the two sisters also have a brother, Alexander Bauer. They all share the same mother, Melanie Griffith. Griffith and Banderas have been divorced for six years but according to reports, the two remain close. Last month, Griffith’s daughters help celebrate her 64th birthday. Melanie posted a sweet photo of special balloons and flowers she received from them, writing, “I love my daughters.”

Lindsay Lohan’s Mom Headed To Jail
Dina Lohan pleaded guilty to a drunk driving charge, the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office confirmed. The mother of famed actress Lindsay Lohan is set to serve 18 days in jail and five years’ probation. She will be officially sentenced on Dec. 3rd. “She’s very pleased to bring closure to this unfortunate situation,” Dina’s attorney, Mark Jay Heller, said. She pleaded guilty to one charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, as well as leaving the scene of an accident from an incident in Merrick, New York, in January 2020. She was arrested for felony DWI because she had a prior incident. Dina was driving outside an Outback Steakhouse when she allegedly struck another vehicle and left the scene. The driver of the other vehicle followed Dina back to her home, where she was met by five officers and refused to submit to a blood-alcohol test.

Disney+ announced today that The Book of Boba Fett — the new Lucasfilm series teased in a surprise end-credit sequence following the Season 2 finale of The Mandalorian — will premiere on Wednesday, December 29, exclusively on the streaming service. The Book of Boba Fett, a thrilling Star Wars adventure, finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate. The Book of Boba Fett stars Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen. Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson are the executive producers.

Artist Displays 2 Empty Frames
A Danish artist was given $84,000 by a museum to use in a work of art. When he delivered the piece he was supposed to make, it was not as promised. Instead, the artist, Jens Haaning, gave the Kunsten Museum of Modern Art in Aalborg, Denmark two blank canvases and said they were titled “Take the Money and Run.” Haaning was asked to recreate two of his previous works: 2010’s “An Average Danish Annual Income” and “An Average Austrian Annual Income,” first exhibited in 2007. Both used actual cash to show the average incomes of the two countries, according to a news release from the artist. In addition to compensation for the work, Haaning was also given bank notes to use in the work, museum director Lasse Andersson told CBS News via email. Their contract even stated the museum would give Haaning an additional 6,000 euros to update the work, if needed, Andersson said.

Dog Runs The Bases At Dodger Stadium
A Jack Russell terrier broke a Guinness World Record when he ran the bases at Dodger Stadium in only 21.06 seconds. Lori Signs, owner and trainer of the canine, named Macho, put balloons at each of the bases to motivate the dog to touch each base in order to pop them as he passed. “I didn’t sleep at all, nervous jitters,” Signs told the Los Angeles Daily News prior to Macho’s run. “No matter what, he is still a dog. There could be a stray pigeon, a gopher or a leaf that falls. We were all just holding our breath.” Macho managed to beat the goal time of 24 seconds set by Guinness. The dog was awarded a certificate for the fastest time for a dog to run the bases at a Major League Baseball stadium. “He was perfect,” Signs said. “He hit a grand slam home run. It was amazing. Giant Chimichanga
An Arizona restaurant celebrated its 75th anniversary by cooking a 25-foot, 7-inch chimichanga that’s believed to be a new Guinness World Record. Ashley Negron, director of marketing and brand management for Macayo’s Mexican Restaurants, said Guinness told officials no record exists for the world’s largest chimichanga, so the record-keeping organization set the goal for originating the title at 23 feet, 7 inches. Negron said a team of about 25 Macayo’s employees gathered at the location in Ahwatukee to assemble the massive deep-fried burrito from dozens of flour tortillas, 500 pounds of shredded chicken, 250 pounds of refried beans, 250 pounds of rice and multiple gallons of salsa. Evidence from the effort still must be reviewed by Guinness before the record is made official. Macayo’s claims the chimichanga was invented at its original eatery in the 1940s, when someone accidentally dropped a burrito into the deep fryer. See the video HERE.

Funeral Home Promotes To Anti-Vaxxers
A van urging people ‘Don’t get vaccinated’ has been spotted driving around the streets of a town in North Carolina. At first glance, it seems like some anti-vaxxers have bought a billboard and are trying to convert more people to put their lives at risk. But in smaller writing underneath, you can see that it is supposedly sponsored by ‘Wilmore Funeral Home’. A website link on the van directs you to the website of local private healthcare center StarMed, which offers the shots. It’s a bit like a Rick Roll for the Covid age. The website tells visitors that they are offering the three vaccines approved in the US and that they are safe, saying: ‘A vaccine earns government approval only after it has been proven to be both safe and effective.
********It also helps when big pharma companies grease the government officials!! Not that there’s anything wrong with that!!
