Kim K Passes Baby Bar Exam

Kim Kardashian celebrated passing a California law exam on Instagram Monday that she called the baby bar exam.  “Looking in the mirror, I am really proud of the woman looking back today in the reflection,” Kardashian said before noting that she previously failed the exam three times in two years.   “In California, the way I’m studying law you need to take 2 bar exams, this was just the first one but with the harder pass rate. I was told by top lawyers that this was a close to impossible journey and harder than the traditional law school route but it was my only option and it feels so so sooooo good to be here and on my way to achieving my goals,” Kardashian said.  She thanked her professors and others who have helped on her law school journey before mentioning her late father, Robert Kardashian.  “I know my dad would be so proud and he would actually be so shocked to know that this is my path now but he would have been my best study partner. I am told he was notorious for making fun of people who didn’t pass on their first attempt like he did, but he would have been my biggest cheerleader!” Kardashian said.

Dr. Oz Show Ending

On Monday, Sony Pictures Television confirmed it is retiring “The Dr. Oz Show” after 13 seasons.  Instead, the health advice talk show will be replaced with a new series co-hosted by Dr. Mehmet Oz’s daughter, Daphne Oz, titled “The Good Dish.” “Top Chef” judge Gail Simmons as well as “Next Food Star” winner Jamika Pessoa will join her as hosts.  “The Dr. Oz Show” began airing in 2009 after the celebrity heart surgeon rocketed to fame following his appearance on Oprah Winfrey’s show.  In November, he announced he is running for Pennsylvania’s open U.S. Senate seat as a Republican. Oz will bring his name recognition and wealth to a wide-open race that is expected to be among the nation’s most competitive and could determine control of the Senate in next year’s election.  In a one-minute video message on social media, the longtime New Jersey resident cast himself as a sort of champion for people’s health, who “took on the medical establishment to argue against costly drugs and skyrocketing medical bills” and is prepared to fight a government that he said has mishandled the COVID-19 pandemic.
*****His show has been on for 13 seasons, which means everyone in America now knows the proper way to poop!! His work is done!!

Kristin Davis Shocked By Aging Comments

Kristin Davis is angry that she and her “And Just Like That…” co-stars have been getting trolled for their appearance.  “Everyone wants to comment, pro or nay or whatever, on our hair and our faces and our this and our that. The level of intensity of it was a shock,” Davis recently told the Sunday Times’ Style Magazine, referring to castmates Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon.  Davis, who plays Charlotte York Goldenblatt on the “Sex and the City” reboot, admitted that she tries to ignore the hateful comments but is still furious that the criticism exists.  “I feel angry and I don’t want to feel angry all the time, so I don’t look at it, I just know it’s there,” she said, adding, “That’s the problem with social media, right, is that you don’t know what those people are doing. You don’t know anything about them.”  She continued, “They’re just hurling bombs at you. It makes me angry.”  Davis also reflected on the criticism she used to get back when she was in her 30s while filming the original series.  “They would write articles every week about how I was ‘pear-shaped,’ which I didn’t feel was a compliment at the time,” she said. “It would stress me out a fair amount because I couldn’t avoid it. I kind of feel like that’s how it is now too.”  She added that she’s surprised that not much has changed.  “But I also feel — I’m going to be blunt — I feel like, ‘F–k you. F–k you people, like, come over here and do it better.’ You know what I mean? Like, what are you doing?” she said.
*********The whole point of being a troll is to get a reaction… so don’t let them know you’re angry!! Right??
*******No one ever erected a statue to a critic!!!

Cop Featured In “Get Back” Documentary Speaks Out

The teenage police officer who shut down the Beatles’ famed rooftop concert is finally opening up about the incident more than a half-century later.  “It was just work, and it’s blown up into all this,” former London Metropolitan Police constable Ray Dagg, now 72, told the Sunday Times of London.  “It’s ridiculous, I just don’t understand it.” He was 19-years-old on Jan. 30, 1969 when he was summoned to address complaints about noise coming from the roof of the Beatles’ Apple Records headquarters at 3 Savile Row in London.  That was the day John, Paul, George and Ringo decided to perform a 42-minute set that included hits like “Get Back,” “Don’t Let Me Down” and “I Got a Feeling,” joined by celebrated American keyboardist Billy Preston.  “Well, at that time, I didn’t know that they would never play together again,” Dagg said. “At least there’s something on a film somewhere that will forever show that PC Ray Dagg shut down the Beatles.  “If that’s my lasting image of life, if that’s what people remember me for, that’s not bad. Thousands, millions of people don’t get remembered at all.”  Dagg, who left the Metropolitan Police six years after the incident, said he’s never actually owned a Beatles album, preferring instead the American duo Simon & Garfunkel.
****It’s too late to hit back at the Beatles!! They just don’t care!!

Will Won’t Let It Go!-(National Enquirer)

Funnyguy Will Ferrell still isn’t laughing about longtime director pal Adam McKay’s casting slight!  McKay originally chose Ferrell to play flamboyant L.A. Lakers owner Jerry Buss in an HBO series about the team, then opted for actor John C. Reilly instead because he looked more like Buss.  Adding insult to injury, Ferrell found out from Reilly that he’d lost the part.  Two years later, Ferrell and McKay-who worked together on “Anchorman” and “Step Brothers”-still aren’t talking.  “I should have called him, and I didn’t,” McKay said about the casting change.  “[Will] took it as a way deeper hurt than I ever imagined.”

…And More!-(Globe)

It’s a jolly PDA-filled season for Casey Affleck, 46, spotted candooling with actress Caylee Cowan, who at 23 is exactly half his age!

Christmas Without the Kids-(Us Weekly)

Brad Pitt’s holiday season is off to a rocky start.  The actor will likely be spending Christmas without the younger children he shares with Angelina Jolie.  “Angelina’s team notified Brad’s lawyers not to expect the kids, essentially saying it wasn’t a guarantee,” a source says, adding that Pitt was “livid” but not surprised.  “This hasn’t been the first holiday season that there has been drama,” explains the source, “and it won’t be the last.”  Continues the source:  “It’s been a nightmare for Brad to keep jumping through hoops to spend any quality one-on-one time with the kids.  But he has no choice but to abide by the legal process.  It’s his only option.”

Common & Tiffany:  What Went Wrong-(Star)

It’s over!  Tiffany Haddish and Common have called it quits after more than a year of dating-and a source says his reluctance to start a family is partly to blame.  Having grown up in foster care, the Girls’ Trip star, 41, has been very vocal about wanting to adopt, revealing in June that she had already begun looking into the process.  But the rapper, 49, who has a 21-year-old daughter named Assata, who he shares with CNN political analyst Angela Reye, “doesn’t want more,” says the source.  Realizing there was no changing the other’s mind, the pair parted ways.  “At the end of the day, Tiffany and Common both want the best for each other,” adds the source.  “They’ve even promised to remain friends.”

Runaway Groom:  Aaron Rodgers-(Life & Style)

When Aaron Rodgers and Shailene Woodley fast-tracked their engagement in February after less than a year of dating, many believed they’d be wed by the time football season rolled around.  Wrong!  “There’s no wedding-planning happening,” Shailene, 30, admitted in July.  “There’s no rush.”  But she’s not the one stalling, a source says-Aaron, 38, is.  “He’s a little insecure because he feels like she’s too smart for him.  He’s intimidated by her even though he loves her with all his heart.  Frankly, the idea of marriage terrifies him.”

Chatter-(People)

“He was sweet but boring….he was a country boy!”-Rita Moreno, on her dates with Elvis Presley.

“It was quite creepy….but it was also quite sweet.”-Keira Knightley, on the time a fan re-created the Love Actually cue card scene for her.

STUPID NEWS

Dog Reunited After Cross-Country Move

A dog who became lost in the Chicago area during her family’s cross-country move was reunited with her owners more than 10 days later thanks to local volunteers.  Siena Gailloux said her family was in the process of moving from Nebraska to Massachusetts on the day before Thanksgiving when their dog, Sandy, became startled during a walk in Lansing, Ill., and pulled free from Gailloux’s mother.  “Sandy was already a little stressed out because of the move and a lady screamed and Sandy just bolted and pulled the leash right out of my mom’s hand,” Gailloux told WLS-TV.  Gailloux’s mother reported the dog missing to local police and animal shelters while Gailloux posted notices about Sandy’s disappearance to Facebook.  Ellen Hogan Mulvey, a local dog rescuer, saw the posts and contacted Gailloux’s family to offer her assistance.  Mulvey and a group of local animal activists put up flyers bearing Sandy’s photo and set up feeding stations and cameras in the area to attempt to locate the wayward canine.  Mulvey said a report of a Sandy sighting came in several days later and a trap was set up with food and some clothing bearing Gailloux’s scent as bait.  “She didn’t come until 7 p.m., but she was comfortable going in because she had been in earlier that morning and the trap went down when she went in,” Mulvey said.

Kitten Rescued From Dryer Vent

Firefighters in New York responded to a home under construction to rescue a small kitten that became stuck inside a dryer vent.  The Bridgehampton Fire Department said crews responded to a home under construction in Water Mill and spent more than an hour cutting and removing sections of the vent and surrounding materials until they could reach the 4-to-5-month-old kitten.  Southampton Town Animal Control Officer Colleen Kidd took the kitten to a local animal shelter, where officials said it will soon be available for adoption.  “As we proceed into a colder time of the year, it is always possible that animals may seek warmth under decks, in deep window wells, or even in places like a dryer vent as we saw here, to escape the cold,” Cathy Antos, Southampton’s supervising town animal control officer, said in a news release.

15 Year-Old Graduates From College

A 15-year-old boy is set to become the youngest graduate in the history of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, when he is presented with his fifth degree next week.  Jack Rico is scheduled to graduate with a bachelor’s degree, and officials said the accomplishment will make him the youngest graduate in the history of the school.  Rico previously earned four associate degrees in two years from California’s Fullerton College. He graduated from Fullerton at age 13, becoming that school’s youngest-ever graduate.  Rico said he struck out to find his own path to education after failing the third grade.  “No one child is the same, in that some kids thrive in a public school setting; others thrive in a homeschool setting, and I feel like it should be the kid’s choice,” Rico told KTNV-TV. They should look into what is best for them and their education.”

Flamethrower Used In Parking Dispute

A Florida man angry over his neighbors’ parking habits sprayed fire from a commercial flamethrower toward a car with three teenagers inside, police said. No one was hurt.  Andre Abrams, of Gainesville, is facing three counts of felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intending to kill, according to court records. He posted a $15,000 bond last week and is awaiting a decision whether prosecutors will formally file criminal charges.  The mother of one of the teens, Ashley Gainey, said Abrams frequently sprayed the flamethrower to scare off guests at her home. Gainey’s daughter, Nate’talya Baker, 16, fled the car with her friends as Abrams continued to spray flames toward them, police said.  “When he shoots it, it lights the whole road up,” Gainey said. “It’s like it’s daylight outside. He’ll do it in the middle of the night.”  In his arrest report, police identified the weapon in the Nov. 30 incident as an XM42 Lite Flamethrower, which shoots flames up to 20 feet and is manufactured by X Products LLC of Vancouver, Washington. It sells for about $900 online.
