Rihanna is expecting her first child with her boyfriend, rapper A$AP Rocky. She showed off her baby bump during an outing with A$AP Rocky in Harlem, N.Y., the neighborhood where A$AP Rocky grew up, People said. Rihanna wore jeans and a long pink coat that was unbuttoned to show her belly. She also sported a gold cross necklace that rested on her bump. They were spotted at Carbone restaurant in New York earlier last month. “Rihanna was quite clearly drinking sparkling water and openly rubbing her baby bump,” a source said. Spotify To Flag Content
Spotify has responded to the controversy over host Joe Rogan by saying that it will flag programs that discuss COVID-19 vaccines with content warnings, which will take listeners to a fact-based COVID-19 hub of information. The response came after musician Neil Young and others removed their music from Spotify over its decision to stick with Rogan, who’s accused of spreading misinformation about COVID-19 vaccines on his program The Joe Rogan Experience — which is exclusive to Spotify. “Based on the feedback over the last several weeks, it’s become clear to me that we have an obligation to do more to provide balance and access to widely-accepted information from the medical and scientific communities guiding us through this unprecedented time,” Spotify CEO Daniel Ek said in a statement Sunday announcing the move. “This new effort to combat misinformation will roll out to countries around the world in the coming days. To our knowledge, this content advisory is the first of its kind by a major podcast platform.” Meanwhile, Rogan for the first time responded to Young and others removing their music in a video post to his Instagram page. “I’m very sorry that they feel that way. I most certainly don’t want that,” he said in the video. “I want to thank Spotify for being so supportive during this time and I’m very sorry that this is happening to them and that they’re taking so much heat from it.” “I’m not trying to promote misinformation, I’m not trying to be controversial,” he added. “I’ve never tried to do anything with this podcast other than to just talk to people.” Rogan also said he’s supportive of Spotify adding content advisories to programs that talk about COVID-19 and vaccines.

Sean Penn Says Men Are Feminized
Sean Penn doubled down on comments he made about masculinity in American men during a recent interview in which he blamed “cowardly genes” for men “putting on a skirt.” The comments came after he spoke out about American culture in an interview with a newspaper in which he explained that he feels men in the country are being feminized. “I am in the club that believes that men in American culture have become wildly feminized,” he said. in an interview with the U.K’s i News. “I don’t think that being a brute or having insensitivity or disrespect for women is anything to do with masculinity, or ever did. But I don’t think that [in order] to be fair to women, we should become them.” In an interview with The Independent, Penn was asked to clarify those remarks. In his response, he further stated that he believes that men in the U.S. are finding it either fashionable or empowering to adopt feminine traits. “I think that men have, in my view, become quite feminized,” he stated. “I have these very strong women in my life who do not take masculinity as a sign of oppression toward them. There are a lot of, I think, cowardly genes that lead to people surrendering their jeans and putting on a skirt.”

It appears Nick Cannon may be expecting another child, as he hosted a gender reveal party with Johnny Manziel’s ex, Bre Tiesi, in Malibu, Calif., on Saturday. Pics from the party show Cannon and a pregnant Tiesi, 30, gathered together with a small group of friends and surrounded by pink and blue balloons. Tiesi – who recently finalized her divorce from Manziel – was photographed cradling her baby bump in a white bodycon dress with towering stilettos. Photos from the event also show guests popping open confetti cannons, which shot blue confetti into the air to reveal Tiesi is expecting a baby boy. This will mark the first child for Tiesi. The party pics come months after Cannon revealed he had gone celibate following the advice of his therapist. Alec Baldwin Settles Parking Dispute
Alec Baldwin settled with a man who sued the actor for allegedly beating him up during a fight over a parking spot three years ago. Wojciech Cieszkowski brought the 2019 case for assault and slander, claiming that the enraged “30 Rock” star punched him in the jaw and shoved him during the spat the year before. Cieszkowski unwittingly took a parking spot Baldwin was waiting for outside his East 10th Street apartment. Alec countersued for defamation, claiming that Cieszkowski lied about getting socked when Baldwin merely “lightly pushed” him in the melee. Both claimed surveillance video of the incident proved their interpretation of events. On Monday, the pair notified a judge in the Manhattan Supreme Court case that they settled their claims against each other. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. “Alec Baldwin and Wojciech Cieszkowski have agreed to resolve all litigation concerning the incident that occurred between them on November 2, 2018,” their lawyers said in a joint statement. “The terms of the resolution are private and confidential. Neither party will have any further comment.

Hoda Kotb and Joel Schiffman are going their separate ways after eight years together. People have written in and asked why I wasn’t wearing my engagement ring,” Kotb began. “Joel and I have had a lot of prayerful and meaningful conversations over the holiday and we decided that we’re better as friends and parents than we are as an engaged couple.” She continued, “So we decided that we are going to start this new year and begin it kind of on a new path as loving parents to our adorable, delightful children and friends.” They started dating in 2013 and share two adopted children: Hayley Joy, 4, and Hope Catherine, 2. Wild Fox Naps On Sofa
Teachers at a London school arrived at the building to find a wild fox had made itself comfortable and was taking a nap on a staff room sofa. A biology teacher at St. Richard Reynolds Catholic College, in the Twickenham area of West London, posted a photo to Twitter showing the fox sleeping on a couch in the biology department staff room Thursday morning. The teacher, who uses the name Miss McIntosh on the microblogging site, said she and her colleagues locked the door to the staff room and contacted the RSPCA for help. McIntosh said the building’s alarms hadn’t been triggered, so teachers theorized the animal might have come in when support workers unlocked the school in the early morning. See the pic HERE.

Prison Mashed Potato Fight
Two female inmates at a German prison have been served a hefty fine for a brawl that began with a food fight. German news agency dpa reported Wednesday that the cellmates at a prison in Augsburg began throwing mashed potato at each other following a disagreement. Then one woman threw her entire plate at the other, who responded in kind. The situation then escalated into a brawl in which both inmates were injured, dpa reported. A court in the southern town of Augsburg sentenced one defendant to pay a fine of 2,700 euros ($3,045) while the other received a fine of 1,800 euros ($2,030). If they fail to pay, the women can spend another 180 or 120 days behind bars, respectively.

Gov. Jim Justice has a message for singer and actress Bette Midler, who called West Virginians “poor, illiterate and strung out” in a tweet after Sen. Joe Manchin refused to support President Joe Biden’s Build Back Better Act. He ended his televised State of the State address Thursday night by lifting up his English bulldog and flashing its rear end to the cameras and crowd. “Babydog tells Bette Midler and all those out there: Kiss her heinie,” Justice said, grinning as people applauded and some gave him a standing ovation. Justice had spent more than an hour touting the state’s accomplishments, including two recently announced economic development projects. “Absolutely too many people doubted us,” he said. “They never believed in West Virginia. … They told every bad joke in the world about us.” Midler shot back in a tweet with a ranking of states from an unnamed source showing West Virginia near the bottom in health care, education and the economy. A man was surprised to see a driver in front of him watching porn on the large console screen of the car in front. Dan Kitchener was stuck in a stop and start traffic jam in south London, during morning rush hour. The driver of the Tesla S appeared to be flicking through explicit clips on the screen at 8.15am. Studies have shown that happy music is aligned with mindfulness meditation, which can improve your mood and increase your awareness.
“Listen to one of your favorite songs over and over again, focusing on a different layer each time, such as the solo, harmonies, guitar, bass, and so on,” said Dr. Chandan Khandai, an assistant professor of psychiatry at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. “Not only will your favorite song bring a lot of joy, it will also cultivate mindfulness as you listen to a particular part and filter out the others.”
Smell a calming scent.
If there’s a scent that appeals to you and brings you a lot of joy, smell it before you head out the door. It could mean applying a citrus-scented lotion or playing with a lavender-scented putty.
“Research has shown that aromatherapy may be beneficial for your mental health. Lavender and mint are two popular essential oils that may calm you down and boost your mood,” Gold said.
Take a few deep breaths.
When we feel extremely stressed or anxious, our body goes into a “fight or flight” aka “survival mode.” In this mode, you may start breathing faster and experiencing tension in your body.
“Deep breathing activates the parasympathetic nervous system response in our bodies, which brings us out of the ’fight or flight’ feeling, and into a more calm, ‘rest and digest’ type of feeling,” said Kate Rosenblatt, the senior clinical manager at Talkspace. “You can try this by taking three deep breaths, inhaling for four seconds, and exhaling for eight seconds.”
Pairing this practice with a part of your commute, such as getting on the bus or turning on your car, will make it easier to stick to, Rosenblatt said.
Catch up with a loved one offline.
Even though you may have a lot on your plate, prioritize conversations with people who bring you joy and happiness.
“Call a friend, family member, or neighbor on the way to or from work. Catching up with people we love can make us feel supported and nurtured, which improves our mental health,” Gold said.
Visualize expressing yourself creatively.
Creative expression, through mediums such as art or music, can help you understand how you are feeling, work through difficult emotions and build healthy coping mechanisms.
Even if you don’t think of yourself as creative, you can still enjoy this hack and derive happiness from it, said Dr. Neha Chaudhary, the chief medical officer of BeMe Health.
“Try thinking about what you’d write, draw or take a photo of at this moment if you could,” Chaudhary said. “Visualizing ways in which to channel creative energy can leave you feeling focused and boost your mood pretty quickly, even if you’re not actually making something then and there.”
Listen to your favorite podcast.
Listening to a podcast or creator that makes you laugh may help you feel happier, Gold said.
“If you don’t have a favorite podcast yet, you may want to listen to one that isn’t work-focused or news-focused as those can be stressful,” she said.
Mental health podcasts may be helpful as they provide coping mechanisms to help ease stress and anxiety. Try to seek out a podcast from a source you trust, like a therapist or psychiatrist.
Prioritize a splurge.
If you’re able to, change up your commute a little to give yourself a little reward. Maybe it means grabbing an indulgent latte before you head into the office or driving the scenic route to enjoy the beauty of nature on your way to an appointment.
“Finding a small item of joy can be anywhere we find meaning. We just need to practice intentionally weaving it in,” Rosenblatt said. She recommends giving yourself these treats continuously so you’ll have something to look forward to that’ll make you happy.
