Tim Allen Denies Flashing Pamela Anderson
Tim Allen is refuting Pamela Anderson‘s claim that he flashed her on the set of Home Improvement. In an excerpt obtained by Variety from her upcoming memoir, Love, Pamela, who played the role of Lisa in the show’s first two seasons—alleges the incident happened on the set of the ‘90s sitcom. “On the first day of filming, I walked out of my dressing room, and Tim was in the hallway in his robe,” she wrote, per the publication’s excerpt published Jan. 22. “He opened his robe and flashed me quickly—completely naked underneath. He said it was only fair, because he had seen me naked. Now we’re even. I laughed uncomfortably.” He has responded to the allegation, telling E! News in a statement, “No, it never happened. I would never do such a thing.” Prior to landing the role of Lisa the Tool Girl on Home Improvement (she was 24 and Allen, 38, when the show debuted), Anderson appeared as a cover model for Playboy magazine. The 2023 Razzie nominations were announced on Monday with the Marilyn Monroe biopic “Blonde,” starring Ana de Armas, in the lead after snagging eight nods, followed by Disney’s live-action “Pinocchio,” a low point for Tom Hanks, with five mentions and Marvel’s “Morbius” scoring three. Megan Fox’s main squeeze Colson Baker (a k a Machine Gun Kelly) racked up four nominations for his work in the Mod Sun stoner comedy “Good Mourning.” Meanwhile, playboy Pete Davidson is also in the running with two nods, one for his cameo in the Baker-led flick and another for his voice work in “Marmaduke.” The 43rd annual ceremony will take place on March 11 — the date in its usual slot on the day before the Oscars. The 2023 Academy Awards will be held on Sunday, March 12. Action star Sylvester Stallone has been awarded the most trophies, with 10 awards to date, and may earn another this year for his role in “Samaritan.”

Sam Smith confessed to Drew Barrymore that the craziest rumor they’ve ever heard is that he is secretly Adele in drag. “Everyone seems to think that I’m Adele in drag,” he said on the show. “’Cause we’ve never been seen in the same room together, and if you slow down her voice, it sounds maybe a bit like mine. So people think that we’re the same person, and I’m just in drag right now,” he says. The conspiracy theory that Smith and Adele, 34, are the same person seems to have started circulating the internet in 2018 when one person posted a video of Adele’s music slowed down, which ended up sounding like Smith. “Did you know that when you slow down Adele it’s actually Sam Smith,” the user tweeted along with video “evidence.” Around the same time, another user pointed out that Adele didn’t attend the 2018 Grammys, where Sam Smith performed. “Anyone notice that Adele isn’t at the Grammys this year? Prince Andrew Looking To Clear His Name
Prince Andrew is reportedly assembling a $12 million war chest to launch a legal case against sexual abuse accuser Virginia Giuffre in a bid to force her to retract the allegations — and possibly apologize — in court. In a civil lawsuit filed in 2020, Giuffre accused him of raping and abusing her on three occasions in 2001 when she was just 17. Though Prince Andrew has refuted any wrongdoing, he agreed to an out-of-court settlement paid to Giuffre in February 2022 amid pressure from Buckingham Palace that damaging headlines were distracting from Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee. “Andrew has always insisted he is innocent and finally wants to prove it in a US court,” an unnamed royal source told The Sun. “He was pressured into settling the case to avoid overshadowing the Platinum Jubilee and has paid a heavy price, personally and professionally.” “The King is happy for him to pursue this,” the source added. “As Head of State, he can’t back him publicly, but Andrew is still his brother, and he wants the best for him.”

Beyoncé Plays In Dubai
Beyoncé was back in action Saturday, performing at luxury hotel Atlantis the Royal in Dubai, her first concert since 2018. She played for an hour, opening with her version of the Etta James classic “At Last.” The set also included “Halo,” “Crazy in Love,” “Flaws and All” and “Be Alive.” She was reportedly paid $24 million for the performance at the luxury resort for the invitation-only event, according to TMZ. Her appearance was part of a three-day celebration of the opening of Atlantis the Royal on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah island. According to the Hollywood Reporter, her daughter Blue Ivy, 11, performed “Brown Skin Girl,” her collaboration with her mother that won them both a Grammy Award in 2021. She was backed by Firdaus, a 48-person all-female orchestra, and the Mayyas, a dance group from Lebanon that took the top prize on the reality competition show “America’s Got Talent.” The performance was followed by a fireworks and drone show. Swedish House Mafia performed at the after-party. The hotel officially opens Feb. 10. According to Arabian Business, Beyoncé is staying in the hotel’s “Royal Mansion,” which costs $100,000 a night.

Largest Pizza
Chain restaurant Pizza Hut celebrated the return of one of its popular menu items by cooking a 14,100-square-foot pizza in Los Angeles. The pizza chain, which announced the return of its Big New Yorker pizza after a 25-year hiatus, took inspiration from the oversize pie to attempt a Guinness World Record at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The restaurant’s chefs assembled the dough, sauce and cheese on the convention center floor and the massive pizza was then cooked using a series of heat lamps. The completed pizza measured 14,100 square feet and was then portioned into 68,000 slices. See the video HERE.

Oldest Dog
An Ohio dog named Spike has been certified as the oldest dog living by Guinness World Records after reaching 23 years, 43 days old. The record-keeping organization said Spike the 9-inch-tall chihuahua was certified as the oldest dog living on Dec. 7. Rita Kimball, Spike’s owner, said she and her family found the canine in the parking lot of a Camden grocery store 13 years ago. “He had been shaved up his back, had blood stains around his neck from a chain or rope, and looked pretty rough,” Kimball told Guinness World Records. “The clerk in the grocery told us he had been there for three days and they were feeding him scraps.” Kimball decided to bring the dog home to her small farm, where he immediately fit in. She dubbed him Spike.

Florida Man Makes Special Delivery
Fort Myers police are searching for a pooping perpetrator caught on camera breaking into a Joe’s Crab Shack on Saturday. According to a Fort Myers Police Department Facebook post, the incident happened at around 2:30 a.m. at 2024 W. First Street. Surveillance video shows the man squeeze through a small, broken window to get into the restaurant. Police said the alleged suspect stole several items, including alcohol, and defecated on the floor before he left. He also snatched a Joe’s Crab Shack hat off a shelf and wore it as he walked around the restaurant.

Using The Express Line With Too Many Items
“Respect the limit of items in the express line and don’t go through if you have more than allowed,” advised Diane Gottsman, an etiquette expert, author of “Modern Etiquette for a Better Life” and founder of The Protocol School of Texas. Few people enjoy waiting in a long line to pay at the grocery store, but no matter how busy you are, that’s no excuse for taking shortcuts. “Don’t be that person who thinks ‘10 items or fewer’ doesn’t apply to you,” added Nick Leighton, an etiquette expert and co-host of the “Were You Raised by Wolves?” podcast. “It does!”
Ignoring Aisle Traffic Rules
“If you wouldn’t do it on the sidewalk or on the highway, you probably shouldn’t do it with your shopping cart in a supermarket,” Leighton explained. “Don’t block other people, stop or change directions suddenly, or cross multiple lanes of traffic without checking for oncoming traffic.” Keep the “rules of the road” in mind as you navigate each aisle and make your selections. Do your best to avoid cart collisions.
“Most aisles are open to two-way traffic,” Smith said. “Keep to the right to allow traffic to keep moving. If you see someone and want to catch up, be sure to move off to the side to allow others to pass.”
Touching And Opening Things Without Buying Them
“Avoid opening packages to smell or taste and then putting them back if you don’t like them,” Gottsman urged. In the era of COVID-19, it’s extra important to be mindful of hygiene and germs in public spaces, especially when food is involved, so try to keep your hands to yourself unless you’re using a plastic barrier or placing something in your cart.
“Do not fondle the food, breads or fruits,” Smith added.
Disrespecting Personal Space
Keep the reality of COVID in mind as you navigate through the store, as well. Being a respectful member of the community means showing consideration for your fellow shoppers. “Everyone still has different comfort levels when in public spaces,” Gottsman said. “You will notice there are still a large number of people wearing masks at the grocery store. Be respectful of personal space, public boundaries such as lines and passing in the aisles and different comfort levels in general.”
Taking Items From Other People’s Carts
“Don’t shop out of other people’s carts,” Leighton advised. Just because someone isn’t next to a cart doesn’t mean its contents are up for grabs ― even if it has the last bottle of Sriracha in the store.
Holding Up The Checkout Line
“Stay off your cellphone when checking out and have your credit card ready to pay,” Gottsman said. The grocery store often takes up more of our time than we’d prefer, especially when there are lengthy checkout lines. Be respectful of everyone’s time and do what you can to make the process as swift and smooth as possible.
“Don’t make everyone in line wait while you run back to get eggs you forgot to put in your basket,” Gottsman added.
‘Returning’ Items To Random Places
Sometimes you put an item in your shopping cart, only to realize later in the outing you don’t actually need it. But when you’re so far from that original aisle, it’s tempting to just put the thing down in a random spot. “When you change your mind, especially for anything refrigerated or frozen, please give it to an employee or the cashier,” Smith implored. “Do not pop it on the nearest display you happen to be walking by in the hopes someone sees and rescues it before it goes bad.”
Not Being Mindful Of Your Surroundings
Try to pay attention to the people and things around you, especially if you’re shopping with little ones who might want to interact with the grocery store space. Don’t let them run wild through the store. “Keep close watch of your children in the cart and in the aisles,” Gottsman said.
It’s also good manners to show courtesy and care for your fellow shoppers. Just as you shouldn’t ignore your children’s impact on others, don’t look the other way when someone needs a little assistance. “Offer to help fetch an item for those unable to reach something on a higher (or occasionally lower) shelf,” Smith said.
Failing To Return Your Cart
The importance of grocery store etiquette extends past checkout. “Put your shopping cart back in the shopping rack in the parking lot,” Gottsman said. “Don’t leave it in an empty space.”
Doing your part to return the cart after unloading your groceries in the car helps ensure another person or car won’t bump into it.
Being Pushy Or Aggressive In The Parking Lot
“The parking lot causes a great deal of grief because everyone is in a hurry,” Gottsman explained. “Honor the rule of allowing pedestrians to have the right of way to cross over on the walkway to the store.” Grocery stores tend to have large parking lots, so even if you have to circle a few times, be patient as you search for a spot and don’t lose your cool. Respecting the rules isn’t just about good manners ― there are legal implications, as well.
“Avoid parking in a no-park or handicap parking space, as well as parking in another parking lot if you aren’t going to the store,” Gottsman said. “You will more than likely be towed!”
