Prince Harry Questions The First Amendment
Prince Harry is taking heat for calling the First Amendment “bonkers” in a recent podcast interview. He made the statement on Dax Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” podcast while discussing what he called the media “feeding frenzy” that arose from his stay at Tyler Perry’s Beverly Hills mansion, the Daily Mail reported. “I’ve got so much I want to say about the First Amendment as I sort of understand it, but it is bonkers,” Harry said, according to the report. “I don’t want to start going down the First Amendment route because that’s a huge subject and one which I don’t understand because I’ve only been here a short time. “But, you can find a loophole in anything. You can capitalize or exploit what’s not said rather than uphold what is said,” Harry reportedly said. Harry’s comments drew sharp criticism on Twitter from both Americans and Brits. Ricky Schroder has issued a formal apology to the Costco employee who refused to let Schroder into Costco without a mask. In a video posted on Schroder’s official Instagram, the actor spoke calmly about the incident, explaining his reasoning for acting the way he did. “Jason, nothing personal. I’m not upset with you or anybody in the position like you have, who works for a living,” Schroder said. “I understand you were following your laws and rules. A pair of identical twins in Louisiana was offered more than $24 million in scholarship offers from the scores of colleges to which they applied. Denisha and Destiny Caldwell, who are preparing to graduate at the top of their class from Scotlandville Magnet High School in Baton Rouge, said they received offers from more than 200 colleges and universities around the world. “We started off competing against each other, and now we compete with each other,” Destiny Caldwell told KTBS-TV. The twins said they have decided to attend the University of California-Los Angeles to study math and science and seek careers in the medical field.

In a desperate attempt to make her ex-boyfriend jealous, a woman in Germany faked an elaborate wedding to get revenge on an old flame. A TikTok video of her envy-inducing antics has gone viral, with more than 1.8 million views and thousands of comments. Sarah Vilard revealed her rock bottom moment to the tune of Gnarls Barkley’s 2006 hit “Crazy,” showing pictures of herself holding hands with a groom-for-hire, wearing a long white dress. “Yup, I’m crazy,” she captioned the video. Vilard, who lives in Frankfurt, Germany, split from her former beau in 2019 and hatched envy-inducing plan shortly after. Tiger Owner Surrenders
The owner of a 9-month-old tiger seen loose in a Texas neighborhood last week has surrendered the animal to authorities, the Houston Police Department said Saturday night. “We are happy to report that the missing tiger seen in a Houston neighborhood last week has been found and appears to be unharmed,” the department tweeted. The tiger, named India, was immediately placed in the city’s animal shelter and is expected to be transported to the Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch wildlife sanctuary on Sunday, CNN reported. Gia Cuevas and her husband, Victor Hugo Cuevas, are the owners of the tiger. Gia Cuevas brought the animal to authorities Saturday and is not facing criminal charges at this time. But HPD Commander Ron Borza emphasized in a news conference Saturday night that it is illegal, as well as a bad idea, to keep tigers as pets in Houston. “In no way, shape or form should you have an animal like that in your household,” Borza said. “That animal can get to 600 pounds. It still had his claws, and it could do a lot of damage if he decided to.”

Florida Woman Upset About Her Whopper
A hangry Florida woman went ballistic in Burger King because she was upset that the tomato in her Whopper was sliced too thick, so she hurled the sandwich — and racial slurs — at a worker, police said. Judith Ann Black, 77, was busted April 30 after admitting to Wildwood cops that she threw the sandwich at the worker’s back, according to a police report obtained by The Smoking Gun. “She stated that she was angry that the victim was not fixing the issue and ‘had the burger in my hand and tossed it at her,’” the report reads. “When asked, Mrs. Black stated that she did hit the victim with the burger.” Black also admitted calling the employee a “stupid black b—” and using another racial slur during her tirade, police said. The worker told responding cops Black started yelling at her while at the counter, according to the police report. “As the victim turned around, Mrs. Black proceeded to throw the Whopper at her, striking her in the back, just below the neck against her will,” police said. “Mrs. Black then walked out to her vehicle, followed by her husband, and left.” The female worker said she and a co-worker walked outside as the couple left and overheard Black call her a “n—–,” according to the report. Several witnesses, a Burger King manager and video footage from inside the restaurant confirmed the worker’s account, police said.

They can help decrease inflammation in the nasal passages and also decrease congestion. If your nose feels especially stuffy, this might be a helpful remedy for you.
Intranasal corticosteroids tend to be the most effective treatment if you suffer from persistent allergy symptoms, especially if they are interfering with your quality of life, Fonacier said. There are plenty of popular brands you can buy over the counter at your local pharmacy.
Eye Drops
If you’ve used eye drops to treat itchy, allergy-responsive eyes and found them to at least temporarily relieve your discomfort, keep the product in your anti-allergy arsenal. Visine’s allergy eye drops appear to be a crowd favorite, with more than 4,000 5-star reviews on Amazon. (Just a heads up: Many say that you will experience some tingling or burning at first, but they deliver results.)
A Nasal Flush
Some experts may suggest a saline solution to flush out your nasal passages. These products are sometimes called neti pots and are typically available to purchase over the counter.
While research indicates these can be effective — A 2012 review of 10 studies showed that saline nasal irrigation had beneficial effects for people with allergic rhinitis, aka hay fever — it’s important you’re using the device correctly.

Oral Antihistamines
You can use oral antihistamines in combination with intranasal sprays to reduce your symptoms, Fonacier said, recommending the low or non-sedating type instead of the kinds that make you sleepy, like Benadryl. If you’re looking for non-drowsy types, you could try brands like Allegra, Zyrtec, Xyzal, Claritin, Alavert or Clarinex, she added.
Immunotherapy
Immunotherapy — aka allergy shots — have been shown to decrease certain allergy symptoms and prevent the development of new allergies, Fonacier said.
“The effectiveness of allergy shots appears to be related to the length of the treatment program as well as the dose of the allergen. Some people experience lasting relief from allergy symptoms, while others may relapse after discontinuing allergy shots.”
You’ll want to talk with your allergist to find out if an allergy shot could be right for you.
Cooling Your Face With Some Eye Stones
Sometimes allergy relief looks like self-care. If your eyes are puffy from intolerable itchiness, maybe you’d benefit from a pair of eye stones, which you first refrigerate and then place gently on your eyes.
If anything, the cooling sensation will feel good and, maybe even better, the stones will force you to rest in one place and just relax after a frustrating day of allergies.

Of course, you’ll have to discuss this option with your allergist. This treatment method may be easier this year than in years past; staying indoors with the windows and doors closed can help prevent worsening allergy symptoms, Fonacier said. Midday and afternoon hours are typically when pollen counts are highest, so keep this in mind as you consider your days and when you plan to leave the house. This goes for the car, too — even though a fresh breeze can feel invigorating, you’ll want to go for air conditioning and keep the windows closed to limit the amount of pollen that you come into contact with.
Investing In A Quality Vacuum
It isn’t fair that you have to suffer from allergies and clean more often to feel better, but such is life. Pollen and other allergens can get trapped in your rugs and carpets and continue to haunt you, so get to the root of the issue by sucking these allergens out of your house.
One Hoover model is especially good for combating pet hair. A Dyson is also adept at capturing pet hair, allergens and truly anything else on your floors (it’s pricey, but once you use it you’ll understand why). Or you can go with an iRobot, which is strong on dust and ― best of all ― hands-free.
You may want to ask a family member or roommate to empty the vacuum for you (outdoors, preferably) so you don’t have to suffer from all of the allergens you’ve finally captured.
Rinsing Off
Taking a shower, washing your hair and changing your clothes after spending time outdoors can also help relieve some of your allergy symptoms. These routines will limit how much time you’ll spend with pollen on your body. Be sure to wash your outdoor clothes before re-wearing them.

Fonacier said wearing a mask, such as a NIOSH-rated 95 filter mask, can help limit your dreadful allergy symptoms when you’re outdoors, whether you’re doing chores like mowing the lawn or just getting some sun. Consider this an added bonus of masks, since we know that wearing one can also help limit the spread of COVID-19.
Trying Acupuncture
If needles don’t make you squeamish, you might want to give this ancient practice a go. A 2015 review of more than a dozen studies found that acupuncture showed beneficial results for both people with seasonal and year-long allergies.
Getting A Plant
Add some green to your home and you’ll arm it against allergens, too, so long as you’re investing in the right kind of plant. While houseplants can’t do the work of air purifiers, some have been shown to help remove harmful compounds from your indoor air, which could help dull your symptoms. A great plant to consider is a spider plant, which is extremely low maintenance (read: easy to keep alive). Some other plants to consider include an areca palm, a peace lily or an English ivy.
