Hart filmed the show on Sept. 20 in Los Angeles, Calif., according to Netflix. 10 days later, Hart celebrated the birth of his third daughter, Kaori Mai, with wife Eniko Parrish.  This will be Hart’s first standup special since Kevin Hart: Irresponsible, which premiered April 2, 2019 on Netflix.  Hart also starred in the Netflix docuseries Kevin Hart: Don’t [Expletive] This Up last year and the Quibi series Die Hart this year. He produced the comedy Dave for FX starring Dave Burd. The special also comes one year after an automobile accident in which Hart suffered injuries to his back. He was a passenger in a car that veered off the highway on Sept. 1, 2019. According to Highway Patrol, he was not wearing his seatbelt.

Alex Trebek Final Hours Revealed

Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek fulfilled his wish of spending his final hours with his longtime wife on a swing “watching the horizon” before he succumbed to his battle with cancer, a show producer said Monday.  “Even in his book, he described that he wanted his final day to be sitting on his swing next to his wife, Jean, and kind of watching the horizon and he got to do that,” executive producer Mike Richards told the “Today” show.  “He was coherent, he wasn’t in pain and the fact that he had a nice, final day makes all of us in the ‘Jeopardy!’ family feel much better.”  Trebek is survived by his wife of 30 years, Jean Currivan, and their two children, Emily and Matthew.  His death came more than a year and a half after he revealed he had been diagnosed with the aggressive disease, which has the highest mortality rate of all cancers.  Throughout his ordeal, he continued to film new episodes of the game show, filming his last episode on Oct. 29th.
********Very touching!!

Prince Harry Denied By The Palace

Prince Harry was reportedly denied permission to even symbolically take part in a Remembrance Day ceremony in the UK.  He personally asked Buckingham Palace for a wreath to be laid at the Cenotaph on his behalf during Remembrance Day services but the proposal reportedly was quickly shut down.  Royal courtiers denied the request on the grounds that he is no longer representing the monarchy reports The Sunday Times. The Queen was not made aware of her grandson’s wishes.  This must surely have come as a bitter blow to the Duke of Sussex who served in the Army for 10 years, attaining the rank of captain, completed two tours of Afghanistan and created the Invictus Games, an international sporting event for wounded armed services personnel.  According to the Sussex biography “Finding Freedom,” Harry was devastated to be stripped of his military titles earlier this year, the result of him breaking away from the royal family and moving to California with wife Meghan Markle and their son, Archie.  It is yet another sign of the growing schism between him and the royal family. Prince Charles and Harry’s brother, Prince William, both attended the service and laid wreaths.  Instead, Harry and Markle laid flowers and a wreath at the Los Angeles National Cemetery on Sunday. The couple stopped by the gravestones of two Commonwealth soldiers, one who had served in the Royal Canadian Artillery and one from the Royal Australian Air Force.
********This is how you treat a traitor!!! Just sayin’!!!

Beyonce’s Daughter Narrates Book

At just eight-years-old Beyonce‘s daughter Blue Ivy Carter has narrated the audio book version of Hair Love, a sweet story about a father learning to style his daughter’s hair. Creator Matthew Cherry shared the news on his Instagram Monday, posting a quick sample of the audio and writing: ‘Our Hair Love audiobook is live. Narrated by Blue Ivy Carter. Link in bio and available everywhere audiobooks are sold.’  Blue Ivy’s audiobook performance could make her a Grammy contender.  The spoken word categories are often dominated by big-name projects, making the combination of Academy Award honors and star-power a recipe for success.

Full House Home Sold

A San Francisco Victorian home that was used in the hit show Full House has been sold by the show’s creator for $5,350,000.  Jeff Franklin, who also was an executive producer on the hit sitcom, sold the 3,728 square-foot three-story home, for the seven-figure total.  The home in the city’s Postcard Row was only used for outside shots on the hit series, which ran from 1987 until 1995 on ABC, and was subsequently rebooted for the Netflix show Fuller House that ran from 2016 until this year.  The interior shots on the show were filmed in Hollywood on a set.  The property, which has been a magnet for tourists, was originally purchased by Franklin for $4million in 2016.   Its previous owners had banned all filming outside the house following its original exterior shoot in 1987, but the decision was reversed after Franklin moved in.   He had the outside of the home customized to match what viewers saw on the show.  Franklin’s plans for the property had sparked a backlash among local residents with the expected bump in foot traffic from tourists.  Among the amenities of the Northern California home, which has four stories, include a deluxe master suite with a fireplace, walk-in closet and large bath.  In the home’s backyard garden, cast members left their signatures and handprints in tiles, the outlet reported. The home also includes picturesque views of the San Francisco Bay.
*******There’s a sign on the door that says, “Nobody’s Home!! We’re all in Jail!!”
******Because it’s San Francisco, you’ll also meet the friendly neighbors who live on the sidewalk outside!! Be careful where you step!!

Jamie Foxx Loses ‘Bright Light’ Sis-(National Enquirer)

Jamie Foxx has been crushed by the death of his beloved 36-year-old sister, DeOndra Dixon, who was born with Down syndrome.  “My heart is shattered into a million pieces,” the 52-year-old Oscar-winning “Ray” star wrote on Instagram.  “My beautiful loving sister DeOndra has transitioned…..I say transitioned because she will always be alive.  Anyone who knew my sis….knew that she was a bright light.”  DeOndra was named Ambassador for the Global Down Syndrome Foundation in 2011 and competed in the Special Olympics for over nine years.

Honestly, Jessica!  Give Us a Break!-(Globe)

Jeez!  Jessica Alba has triggered a feud with the former cast of “Beverly Hills, 90210” and it’s so silly, stupid and petty, it could only happen in tinseltown.  Firstly, Jessica’s biggest accomplishments as an actress seem to be wearing a bikini in the 2005 treasure-diving flick “Into the Blue,” and playing a stripper-like dancer in the “Sin City” flicks.  She’s triggered an uproar claiming that when she was a ditzy 16-year-old appearing in a few “Beverly Hills, 90210” episodes in 1997, she was told:  “You’re not allowed to make eye contact with any one of the cast members or you’ll be thrown off the set.”  The former “90210” cast members are stunned and mystified by the charge.  “I don’t think she heard that from anyone reputable,” says Brian Austin Green.

Gwen & Blake:  Happily Engaged-(Us Weekly)

After five years of dating, Blake Shelton finally put a ring on Gwen Stefani!  The couple announced the happy news via Instagram on Oct. 27.  “Thanks for saving my 2020…..And the rest of my life,” the country singer, 44 gushed.  Though Shelton only just proposed, he and Stefani, 51, “have been in pre-nup talks for a few months,” a source says, noting that the process has been effortless.  “These two mature adults that love each other.  Don’t be surprised if [a wedding] happens by the end of the year.”

Tiger & Erica:  Relationship Roadblock-(Star)

Not par for the course:  Tiger Woods and girlfriend Erica Herman are going through a rough patch.  The golfer, worth an estimated $800 million, is refusing to go down on one knee until the 36-year-old signs a prenup.  Meanwhile, the pair are stressed over legal woes tied to a 2018 car crash that killed an employee of The Woods, Tiger’s restaurant in Jupiter, Fla., where Erica was the general manager.  A wrongful death suit accuses the eatery of encouraging the after-hours drinking that impaired the worker.  “As if Tiger and Erica didn’t have enough problems, they’ve also got this nightmare legal case,” a source says.  “It’s straining on them individually, and as a couple.”

Kate:  Back On the Market-(Life & Style)

Single and ready to mingle!  According to a source, Kate Beckinsale is looking to find love again after splitting from Canadian rapper Goody Grace.  The actress, 47, scrubbed her 23-year-old beau after her social media after the couple reportedly called it quits in October.  “Kate loves dating younger men,” the source admits, pointing to past flames Pete Davidson, 26, and Matt Rife, 25.  “As far as she’s concerned, age is nothing but a number.”  And the British beauty makes no apologies for her taste in guys.  “I witness men constantly doing whatever they like,” Kate’s said, while others make it seem “risqué” for “a woman over 32 to have any fun at all.”

Chatter-(People)

“Because I’m not very techy myself….I won’t let them be on Instagram.”-Nicole Kidman, on keeping her younger kids off the social media platform.

“When we were in the middle of quarantine, he looked at me and was like, ‘You know what?  I like you.  I know I love you, but I like you, too.’”-Carrie Underwood, on her husband, Mike Fisher.

“It was just the idea that somebody like me, from my background, who was a woman, could garner that type of price in this industry, and it was a big deal.”-Jennifer Lopez, on making $9 million for The Wedding Planner.

Did Brad Get Dumped?-(In Touch)

She was having a fun night out on the town-except it wasn’t with Brad Pitt.  On Oct. 23, Nicole Poturalski, who had been seeing the 56-year-old actor for almost a year, was spotted getting cozy with her husband of eight years, Roland Mary, at his restaurant, in Berlin.  It was the first time the 27-year-old model was photographed with the 68-year-old businessman since the news broke that she was seeing Brad, who was back in the U.S.  And apparently he [Brad] was very upset about it.  “He fell for her hard,” says the source.  In August, Brad even whisked Nicole-who reportedly has an open marriage with Roland-off to his home, Chateau Miraval, in France.  It’s where Brad and Angelina [Jolie] married in 2014 (plus she still owns it with Brad), “so it wasn’t ideal for Nicole to have him take her there,” says the source.  “But she still had an amazing time.  He made it so romantic.”

Camel On The Run!

Animal services officers were summoned to a California neighborhood on a report of an unusual escapee from a local farm — a camel.  Michaela McGuian, supervising animal services officer for the Yolo County Sheriff’s Office, said she knew right away after receiving a call about a camel on the loose that the animal was likely CamElla, a single-humped dromedary camel residing at Anita Varga’s Serenity Farms, outside Woodland.  McGuian said CamElla caused a stir with her outing, but ended up returning home on her own before officers arrived.  “I’m not a camel expert but like other large animals, they may get curious if they get a chance to escape,” McGuian told the Daily Democrat. “We find with cows and horses, they will sometimes wander, just to see if there’s food out there.”  She said the department has received calls about CamElla before from concerned members of the public.

North Pole Time Capsule Found

A pair of surfers on the northwestern tip of Ireland made an unusual discovery washed up on shore — a time capsule tossed into an Arctic ice by the crew of a Russian ship.  Conor McClory and Sophie Curran of Gweedore, County Donegal, said they spotted the metal object on shore while they were checking sea conditions for surfing.  “When I saw it, first I thought it was a steel pipe of a ship, then I lifted it and saw there was engraving on it. I thought it was a bomb then,” McClory told the Donegal Daily. “When I saw the date on it I thought it could be somebody’s ashes, so I didn’t open it.”  McClory showed the engraving to an acquaintance who speaks Russian, and they translated the engraving and revealed it was a time capsule.  The container was opened and McClory discovered messages in Russian and English from the crew and passengers of 50 Years of Victory, a nuclear-powered Russian icebreaker ship that tossed the time capsule into an ice floe at the North Pole in 2018.  The cylinder also contained photographs, beer mats, a menu, wine corks, badges and other items stowed away by the ship’s crew.
********Sounds like they were concentrating on the alcohol!! And who can blame ’em??
*******They handed the capsule to a polar bear on the ice flow, then watched him float away!!
*******Now they have to find the crew, thaw them out and return it!!

Pets Outnumber Kids

Strollers with dogs have become common in Taiwan’s capital, in part because the metro system requires pets to be held in carriers, but also because there are now more pets than children in Taiwan as more people have been adopting pets and the country’s birthrate has declined.  “Dogs in Taiwan are pampered and well cared for, but can also be an accessory to show off, and the more portable the better,” Taiwan resident Tom Parker told The Guardian.  Taiwan officials estimated there were close to 3 million pets in the country during the second half of this year, a number even larger than the number of children age 14 or younger, PetFoodIndustry.com previously reported.  At the same time, Taiwan has a declining birth rate – down 6% from 2016 to 2019, Taiwan News reported.
********Now we know the future: the planet is taken over by dogs!! But who will walk and feed them??
******When we see a woman with a baby in a stroller, we have to say, “I’m so sorry… couldn’t you have a puppy??”

Monkeys Prefer Traffic Sounds

Monkeys in a zoo in Finland have shown a “significant” preference for traffic sounds over jungle noises, researchers have found.  A tunnel fitted with sensors was installed in a monkey enclosure at Korkeasaari Zoo in Helsinki.  This allowed the white-faced saki monkeys to choose whether they listened to a playlist of traffic noises, nature and falling rain – or a choice of either zen music and dance music.  Dr Ilyena Hirskyj-Douglas, a researcher at Aalto University in Finland, said: “We thought they would enjoy more calming sounds, such as zen music, but actually they triggered the traffic sounds more.”  The traffic playlist was the most popular choice among the monkeys, who also groomed themselves or each other and sometimes slept when the sounds was playing – something they did not do for any of the other noises.  Kirsi Pynnonen, the zoo’s research coordinator, said the sounds of the road mimic some of the ways in which the animals naturally communicate.  She said in the wild, the animals “use high-pitched hissing, squeaking and croaking to stay in contact”, indicating that they may hear these noises in the traffic sounds too.

9 Little Things Therapists Do When They’re Having A Bad Day

Huffington Post

  1. Take a shower to press the reset button

“When I’m having a bad day, I don’t feel like doing anything. And then — surprise — lying on the couch and withdrawing from the world makes my day worse. Taking a shower is my way to reset. After, it revitalizes me so I have the energy to rescue my day.” — Marisa Franco, psychologist and friendship expert

  1. Tell someone else how they’re feeling

“I share how I’m feeling and what’s causing me to feel this way to either a friend or loved one. Letting out how I’m feeling and what I’m thinking helps me to feel better. Instead of me carrying the weight of what I am feeling alone, externalizing it and sharing it with someone else takes some of the weight off.” — Rebecca Leslie , psychologist at Living Fully Psychological Services

  1. Log off social media

“When I’m having a bad day, the last thing I need is more negativity. So I intentionally stay away from social media and the news, which can be pretty negative and sensationalized — neither of which I need after a tough day. It’s easy to overwhelm ourselves with things we have no control over. So on hard days, I narrow my exposure and focus to what I can control.” ― Kurt Smith, therapist who specializes in men’s counseling

  1. Practice self-care

“I allow myself to enjoy some time for me without feeling guilty. For example: taking a barre class, watching a movie, going out with a friend or simply doing nothing. Recharging is important for all of us in order to replenish energy and continue going.” — Basulto

  1. Get outside

“Going outside and taking a walk has such an impact on my mood. It’s incredible the mood-boosting powers that sunshine and movement have. The change in scenery can also promote a change in mindset and mood.” — Leslie

  1. Find something that will stop the catastrophizing

“When I have a bad day, I try not to catastrophize. Just because the morning was rough doesn’t mean the day will be rough; just because today is going bad doesn’t mean my life is bad. What helps me more than just saying this to myself, though, is finding ways to access joy, and experiencing these truths more viscerally. I do that by spending a few minutes petting the dog.” — Franco

  1. Walk the dog

“This is a chore I do almost every day anyway, but when I’ve had a bad day I definitely make sure I do it. Pets are very therapeutic and getting outside refreshes and energizes me. This is a win-win-win. I get a necessary chore done, distract myself from work and am able to shift gears into personal life mode, and of course my dog loves it and me.” ― Smith

  1. Look through old texts that make them smile

“I have a photo album on my cell phone of screenshots that make me feel good. When I get an email from a patient or co-worker, or text from a friend that makes me feel particularly good about myself, I will take a screenshot and save it to this album. If I am having a bad day, scrolling through this album tends to always boost my mood.” — Leslie

  1. Meditate and pray

“I do this daily every morning, but I’ll add it at the end of rough days as well. As therapists, we go through a lot of pain with people and we end up carrying it home too. Having a routine to unload it is crucial. When you walk alongside people as they fight cancer, contemplate suicide, suffer through trauma, fight in wars — all of which I’ve been through with patients — you really benefit from turning to a higher power.” — Smith
