Dog The Bounty Hunter Injures Himself
Dog the Bounty Hunter has left his search for Brian Laundrie due to an injury. He has been leading a high-profile search for the 23-year-old fugitive who is wanted in connection with the murder of his fiancee Gabby Petito. Dog, whose real name is Duane Chapman, has gone back to Colorado while his team remains on the search in Florida. Josh Benson of Florida news outlet WFLA has confirmed that Chapman sustained an ankle injury in the search. “DOG. Just got an update from Dog the Bounty Hunter’s team. They say he’s headed back to Colorado soon to meet with his doctor after injuring his ankle in the search,” Benson tweeted. “He’s also raising funds to continue what he calls an ‘expensive search.'” Benson confirmed that Chapman assembled a team to continue the search in his absence. He added: “Team says he’s put together a talented network of local team members he calls the ‘Florida Team’ that will continue the search while he’s gone. He says he will continue to process leads in Colorado while he’s there.” Meanwhile, Chapman’s daughter Lyssa Chapman also confirmed that her father has gone back to Colorado to “handle some business.” “Dad is headed back to Colorado temporarily to handle some business. (Remember, he was in Florida on his honeymoon),” she tweeted.

George Clooney Rules Out Politics
George Clooney has officially ruled out a pivot from show business to politics. He noted in an interview with BBC Andre Marr that, while he’s engaged in politics, he is hoping to reduce his workload rather than increase it with a foray into running for office. Clooney, a long-time supporter of President Joe Biden, described America as a country that is still recovering from the damage caused by Donald Trump. When asked whether he had any intentions of running for office, Clooney was quick to dismiss the idea. “No, because I would actually like to have a nice life,” he explained. He said that he’s focused more on enjoying the fruits of his labors at this stage in his life and has no interest in starting a new career. The movie star said he plans to take on fewer projects while he is healthy and can still “play basketball and do the things I love.’’ “I turned 60 this year and I had a conversation with my wife and we were working a lot, as we both do, and I said we have to think of these as the halcyon years,” he said. “In 20 years, I will be 80 and that’s a real number. Doesn’t matter how much you work out, what you eat, you’re 80 and so I said we have to make sure we enjoy and live these years in the best possible way.”

Jamie Lynn Spears Changing The Name Of Her Book
Jamie Lynn Spears changed the title of her upcoming memoir after facing backlash this summer for planning to use one of her sister Britney Spears’ most famous lyrics. She announced on Instagram Monday that her book will now be called “Things I Should Have Said.” It is set to hit stores on Jan. 18, 2022. The controversial working title was “I Must Confess,” a line from the chorus of Britney’s 1998 debut single, “…Baby One More Time.” Jamie Lynn had planned to pay homage to her sister with the name of her then-unannounced memoir, her publisher promptly attempted to save face. “We deeply regret that incorrect and incomplete information about her book has appeared in the public space, particularly at this sensitive time for Jamie Lynn and her family,” Worthy Publishing said in a statement on Instagram at the time, adding that the “as-yet-untitled memoir” was “still in development.” The famous siblings’ relationship has been rocky since Britney said in a bombshell court hearing in June that she wanted to sue her family over her conservatorship, which has controlled her personal affairs, medical decisions and estate since February 2008. Britney also called out Jamie Lynn on Instagram in July for performing remixes of her songs at the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards.

He seemed puffier than usual while attending Game 2 of the National League Division Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants on Saturday. Photos and videos of Cruise smiling in the stands and waving to fans as he enjoyed the game circulated online with several internet users noting his fresh facade. “What’s up with the bloated chipmunk cheeks?” one person tweeted. “What he do to his face, same doctor as Wayne Newton?” another person wrote. “@TomCruise What have you done to your gorgeous face?!!!! I was soooo disappointed when I saw you in the stands at the Dodgers game! STOP putting crap into your face please!!!!” a fan begged. “Tom has done something to his face or he has gained some weight. Judge Judy’s Longtime Bailiff Speaks Out
When Judge Judy Sheindlin vacated the bench she held for 25 seasons to star in a new streaming series, “Judy Justice,” she decided to go solo. Petri Hawkins-Byrd — who had served as Sheindlin’s bailiff since “Judge Judy” premiered in 1996 — has revealed that he was “not asked” to be part of the new show, premiering Nov. 1 on the Amazon and IMDb TV streaming platforms. “My assumption is if you were going on to do something else, that you were at least going to ask me if I wanted to have the opportunity to audition for the role,” Hawkins-Byrd told EW of allegedly getting “priced out” of his gig. He found out about her new show just like the general public — but at the time, he was more focused on caring for his wife, longtime “Judge Judy” producer Makita Bond-Byrd, who is recovering from surgery for a malignant brain tumor. “I didn’t have time to think about or ask about ‘Judy Justice,’ ” said Hawkins-Byrd, adding that Makita just completed her third round of chemotherapy after doctors removed 95 percent of her tumor. “It wasn’t until July that I called the judge and asked, ‘Hey, should I look for something else or am I included in the “Judy Justice” project?’” That’s when his longtime colleague informed him he was not invited to her streamer. He didn’t ask why, he told EW, as that was her choice. “But she did inform me that fundamentally, I was priced out as the new bailiff on her new show,” Hawkins-Byrd told the outlet. “My salary would have been too much. I was curious: How would she know? She didn’t ask me. She didn’t give me an opportunity to have accepted a lower salary.”

Fastest Lawnmower
A British man broke a Guinness World Record when he built a riding lawn mower that reaches a speed of 143.19 mph. Tony Edwards, a mechanical engineer from St. Martins, Shropshire, England, said he became interested in building the world’s fastest lawnmower about two years ago. “I know that a guy from the U.K. had the record at one point, at 96 mph. Then I think Honda had it at 116mph, and then a team from Norway did it at 132 mph, and I thought I’d give it a try,” he told the Shropshire Star. Edwards said he built the lawnmower from scratch, enlisting the help of a welding expert to help with some of the chassis work. The lawnmower is powered by a 1300cc unit from a Suzuki motorcycle. Edwards said Guinness also stipulated that the lawn mower had to be able to actually cut grass. “I had to send videos to Guinness to prove that it was a lawnmower,” he said. See the video HERE.

Loose Kangaroo
A kangaroo that escaped with two others from an Oklahoma petting zoo caused a stir when it was spotted on a local road. Oasis Animal Adventures in Eucha confirmed the facility’s gate wasn’t properly shut Tuesday night, and staff arrived Wednesday morning to find four kangaroos outside of their pens. Three of the marsupials managed to get outside the facility, and two of them, both females, were soon recaptured across the road from Bush Creek. Oasis officials said the third kangaroo, a male named Big Red, evaded capture for hours. Big Red was caught on camera hopping in a road near Grand Lake and the footage was posted to Facebook by Brecka Mizell Bagby. “Is anyone missing a kangaroo?” Bagby wrote.

Porridge Making Championship
A vegan food blogger from the Netherlands is the winner of this year’s World Porridge Making Championship. The annual competition, traditionally held in Carrbridge in the Highlands has taken place virtually since the pandemic hit last year. Miriam Groot, 25, who runs a blog called The Veggie Reporter, was crowned the winner of the Virtual Spurtle 2021, with an oat arancini. She used pinhead oatmeal in place of rice, which was combined with mushrooms, white wine, vegetable stock, lemon zest and pepper and rolled in breadcrumbs. Those taking part were asked to submit footage of themselves making a favorite oat dish online. The “Porridge Committee” then judges the dish based on presentation and originality before choosing which ones they most want to try. The top 10 winners included two Americans, two Australians, one from Germany, two from England and one from Scotland.

Florida Man In Flames!
Authorities say when they arrived to four-feet high flames in a Brevard County roadway, they found a man holding a sword and drinking alcohol. Deputies say they were on active patrol when they spotted the flames on Craig Avenue in Titusville around 2:12 a.m. on Thursday. According to police, the fire was in front of a man’s home who they visited around five times in the past six months for illegal burns. Officials say the fires ranged from being on the sidewalk, to taking up the entire street. Officials say when they went to speak with suspect Scott Taylor he was sitting in his front yard holding a sword in his hand and had a knife in his waistband. Police say he was also actively drinking in front of them then began chugging from a half-gallon-sized Captain Morgan spiced rum. Authorities say he dropped the knife and sword when asked but could not provide an answer as to why he started a fire in the roadway. He was arrested and taken to the Titusville Police Department. Police say while the man was in a holding cell he intentionally broke a fire sprinkler head, causing water to flood the cell and booking room.
