Shaq Gets New Animated Series
Shaquille O’Neal has landed a new animated kids series. Genius Brands said in a press release that he will star in and executive produce the action-adventure comedy Shaq’s Garage for Kartoon Channel! Shaq’s Garage will follow the secret adventures of an extraordinary collection of animated cars, trucks and automobiles. Each vehicle has unique attributes, intellects and skills, including musical stylings, Shaq Fu and the mastery of the ultra-secret language of Shaqanese. “Whether in Sheijing on a secret mission or visiting an ancient shrine in the lost city of Shaqmandu, each story will be as special as the vehicles and Shaquille himself,” an official synopsis reads. Genius Brands CEO Andy Heyward said the storylines and vehicle designs are inspired by Toy Story, Tony Stark and 007. O’Neal will voice the lead vehicle, a semi truck named Big Diesel.

Ozzy almost Joined Van Halen
Ozzy Osbourne could have been a member of Van Halen. He revealed in a recent episode of his SiriusXM show, “Ozzy Speaks” that the late Eddie Van Halen once asked him to join his band. Despite turning down the offer, he spoke highly about the artistry of the late rocker Van Halen. “[Van Halen] phoned me up one time and asked me if I wanted to sing in his band – way after Sammy [Hagar],” Osbourne said to his radio show co-host Billy Morrison. “I think he was a bit drunk.” “We’ve all done one of them – calling at 4 o’clock in the morning, going, I got a great idea,” he added with jokingly slurred speech. Morrison responded, “None of the great ideas at 4 [a.m.] are any good.’ “My bad ideas got me into rehab,” Osbourne admitted. He then touched on Van Halen’s legacy. “You think you’ve seen it all, and then out of the blue someone comes out with such a revolutionized way of playing,” he said. Osbourne added: “To watch Eddie play was, like – his hands would turn into a spider. He was remarkable. He always made it look like it was so easy.”

Felicity Huffman Completes Her Sentence
Felicity Huffman has completed her full sentence following her conviction in the college admissions scandal case. In May, she pleaded guilty to participating in the scandal by paying a proctor to correct answers on her daughter’s SAT exam. Since then, she served a brief sentence in jail and engaged in community service while under supervised release. The Oscar nominee has completed the sentence, a rep confirmed to People magazine. She served 11 days in prison after being sentenced to 14. She also was sentenced to 250 hours of community service. Also involved with the scandal was actress Lori Loughlin and her designer husband Mossimo Giannulli, who recently pleaded guilty as well. Loughlin will serve two months in jail, pay a $150,000 fine, participate in 100 hours of community service and undergo two years of supervised release. Giannulli will serve five months in prison, pay a $250,000 fine with two years of supervised release and 250 hours of community service. They have been ordered to report to jail on Nov. 19th.

Wendy Williams Addresses Her Viewers
Wendy Williams addressed her co-hosts’ concerns after DJ Boof suggested that the daytime talk show host might no longer be sober. “I always say I love you for watching ‘cause I really, really do. I come here every day and I try to do the best that I can for you,” she said during her show on Monday. “I appreciate you watching, but even after all of these years, it’s still work. An effort put in for the hour I’m out here, you know? I guess every day is not perfect, but I’m not a perfectionist. I’m not perfect.” She continued, “I do appreciate you putting in the effort to watch us, and I love entertaining you. You know? It’s not easy. It is not easy, you’re a tough crowd.” Williams didn’t provide a specific reason for her erratic behavior on Friday’s show, where she took long pauses, slurred her words and mispronounced people’s names. Boof, who was replaced by DJ Suss One, claimed afterward that “Wendy Williams Show” staffers are too “afraid to speak up” because they fear getting fired.

Harvey Weinstein Gives Up On Bail
Harvey Weinstein has given up any hope of getting out of prison on bail, his lawyers say, but still thinks he’ll win an appeal, which he wants to be “the Sistine Chapel of appeals.” Weinstein’s legal reps began building his appeal in February, after the disgraced honcho was convicted on rape charges. But the appeal was delayed by the pandemic. Now Weinstein’s attorney, Arthur Aidala of Aidala Bertuna & Kamins, tells Page Six he expects the appeal to be filed by the end of this year. Weinstein just lost a bid to be released on $2 million bail pending appeal. “He’s come to grips with the reality of the situation,” Aidala told us. But Weinstein is still “pretty optimistic — having lived through the trial and seen all the legal improprieties — that he’s going to be successful on appeal,” said the attorney.

Bees Record
A Chinese daredevil achieved a Guinness World Record when his body was covered in more than 140 pounds of living bees. Ruan Liangming had multiple buckets filled with bees dumped over his head in Yichun City, Jiangxi Province, to get the insects to settle on his body. His bees weighed 140 pounds, 6.95 ounces. The congregation of insects was enough to earn him the world record for heaviest mantle of bees. See the video HERE.

Guy Modifies His Body
A German man set a Guinness World Record for most body modifications — and he says he isn’t finished altering his body. Rolf Buchholz said his enthusiasm for body modification didn’t awaken until he got his first tattoo at age 40, but he soon became addicted and now has 516 body modifications, including tattoos, piercings and subdermal implants. Buchholz previously set the world record for most piercings when they were officially counted at 453 — including 158 around his lips alone. Buchholz said he has added more body modifications since they were officially counted at 516, and he is still considering further modifications. See the video HERE.

Guy Invents Touchless Pinball Machines
A Seattle arcade closed for eight months due to the COVID-19 pandemic invented a new feature to bring back customers still concerned about spreading the virus: touchless pinball machines. Add-a-Ball Amusements in the Fremont neighborhood closed its doors in early March to slow the spread of the coronavirus outbreak, and co-owner Brad Johnsen said employees started discussing possibilities to resume gaming before the business reopened its doors this week. “Our genius employee, Alex…AKA Sleepy…came up with the idea of putting pedals on a pinball machine. Using all foot operated controls,” Johnsen told KING-TV. He said employees worked on the idea for two days before revealing a prototype pinball machine modification operated completely by foot pedals. The business reopened this week at 50 percent capacity, in accordance with COVID-19 guidelines, and the touchless pinball machines were revealed to the public. See the video HERE.

Burglar Leaves His Info At The Scene
A burglar who left behind a rucksack containing his name and address at the scene of a crime has been jailed for four years. Malcolm Pyke broke into a garage in East Herrington, Sunderland, and stole cleaning equipment in March. As he was making his getaway, he accidentally left behind a bag which contained letters bearing both his name and address. This information helped lead police officers to his home, where the stolen equipment had been left out in the open. Detective Sergeant Chris Raper-Smith said: “Malcolm Pyke is a prolific thief who has consistently proven a disregard for the law and the welfare of others. “Unfortunately for him, his latest offence which was fairly unsophisticated saw him leave behind a number of personal items which directed officers straight to his front door”. The stolen equipment has been returned to its rightful owner.
