Josh Duhamel Got Married

Josh Duhamel married his girlfriend, model and former pageant contestant Audra Mari, 28, at a wedding Saturday in North Dakota.  Us Weekly said Duhamel and Mari married at Olivet Lutheran Church in Mari’s hometown of Fargo.  They were seen leaving the church in a red vintage convertible.  TMZ said Duhamel, Mari and what appeared to be their wedding party were later spotted having drinks at Duffy’s Tavern.  Duhamel and Mari were first linked in 2019 following Duhamel’s split from his ex-wife, singer Fergie. The couple got engaged in January.  “It’s on!! She found a message in a bottle that washed ashore and said YES!!” Duhamel said on Instagram at the time.  Duhamel and Fergie have a 9-year-old son, Axl Jack.

Gisele Bündchen chose a photo from her and Tom Brady’s 2009 wedding to celebrate her sister’s birthday amid the couple’s marital issues.  “Happy birthday to a true angel on earth!” she wrote to Graziela Bündchen via Instagram Stories on Sunday, translated from Portuguese.  “I love you so much sis!” Gisele continued, adding heart and birthday cake GIFs to the social media upload.  The couple are currently in the middle of an “epic fight,” Page Six reported earlier this month.  “There’s been trouble in the marriage over his decision to un-retire,” a source explained of their marital woes. “Gisele has always been the one with the kids.  “They had agreed he would retire to focus on the family, then he changed his mind,” the insider continued.  Brady announced his retirement in February after winning his seventh Super Bowl — but walked back his decision just 40 days later.

Prince Harry Can’t Wear His Military Uniform

Prince Harry will be “saddened” if he cannot wear his military uniform to Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral, royal sources say.  He was stripped of his military titles when he quit royal life in 2020 and moved to California with his wife, Meghan Markle.  The rest of the men in his family will wear full uniform to the monarch’s funeral at Westminster Abbey on Sept. 19 — apart from disgraced Prince Andrew.  However, the palace announced that Andrew — who was forced to quit public life in 2019 and paid out millions of dollars to his sexual abuse accuser Virginia Giuffre — will be allowed to wear his military uniform on Monday “as a special mark of respect for Her Majesty” while standing vigil at St. Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh, where members of the royal family, including King Charles III, will stand beside the coffin in a tradition known as the Vigil of the Princes.  Additionally, the palace said working members of the family will wear their uniforms at the Service of Thanksgiving at St. Giles’ Cathedral, the procession to and vigil at Westminster Hall and the state funeral service and committal service.  None of the Queen’s children or grandkids wore their military uniforms at her husband Prince Philip’s funeral in April 2021.

Ricky Martin Facing New Wild Claims

Ricky Martin is fighting a new round of “wildly offensive” sexual assault claims — less than a week after he filed a $20 million lawsuit over previous accusations from his nephew.  The new complaint was filed Friday at a police precinct in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Although the name of the person who leveled the allegations was not listed, the Associated Press reported that it was Martin’s nephew, Dennis Yadiel Sánchez, who made the filing.  “These claims are wildly offensive and completely untethered from reality,” Martin’s attorney José Andréu-Fuentes said in a statement to The Post. “When this man previously made similar allegations, his legal case had to be withdrawn — not least because he himself admitted under oath that Ricky Martin had never assaulted him in any way.”  He filed his suit against Sánchez Sept. 7, claiming his nephew’s accusations of incest and sexual abuse were an attempt to “assassinate” the singer’s reputation, according to court docs.  “Now, after being sued for trying to extort Mr. Martin, he is attempting to spread his lies again,” Andréu-Fuentes told The Post. “It is beyond time that the media stops giving this deeply troubled individual the oxygen of publicity and allows him to get the help he so clearly needs.”

Britney Spear Probably Won’t Perform Again

Britney Spears said she “probably won’t perform again” because she is “traumatized” as a result of the abuse she allegedly experienced throughout her 13-year conservatorship.  “I’m pretty traumatized for life and yes I’m pissed as f–k and no I probably won’t perform again just because I’m stubborn and I will make my point,” she wrote on Instagram Sunday in the now-deleted caption of a photo of herself naked in bed.  Spears called out the fact that she was unable to approve images for photo shoots and visuals for her music videos when she had conservators, noting that the only video she liked throughout the legal arrangement was 2013’s “Work Bitch.”  “I’d rather quit s–t in my pool and shoot photos of myself in studios over working with the most offensive people in my life,” she added.  Spears also said she felt “humiliation” being surrounded by eight of the “tiniest girls” on stage for her dance routines, which made her feel insecure.  “You think I’m being silly you try being up there and feeling like that,” she wrote.

Anna Kendrick Was Trapped In An Elevator

While at the Toronto International Film Festival to promote her new movie Alice, Darling, Anna Kendrick became stuck in an elevator, cracking jokes with her team while waiting to be rescued. Ultimately, everyone climbed out safely via a ladder, continuing on with their schedules after an unexpected delay.  “I got in the wrong elevator at the wrong time,” Kendrick joked about the experience while at PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly’s photo and video studio at TIFF on Sunday. “I got out. Some lovely Canadian firefighters had me crawl out the top of the hatch,” she recalls. “But, yeah, it was, like, seven of us in an elevator just waiting to be rescued by firefighters. It was so absurd that it would happen on a film press tour that it just seemed so immediately comical.”  “I couldn’t stop cracking jokes,” says Kendrick. “Although, maybe that’s a defense mechanism. Come on, Anna. Do you know anything about yourself? I think that was probably a defense mechanism. Oh no, I’m not healthy!” Kendrick documented the experience through videos she later posted on Instagram, showing herself “just vibing” in the elevator and joking with her fellow stranded friends that they must “ration” their “limited supply” of food to survive.  See the video HERE.

Pizza Run Turns Into Jackpot

A South Carolina woman said a brief trip to pick up pizza for dinner led to her winning a $50,000 lottery jackpot.  The Swansea woman told South Carolina Education Lottery officials she had just picked up some pizza for her family’s dinner when she decided to stop into the Rainbow Gas Station in Swansea to buy a couple of $2 Jumbo Bucks scratch-off tickets.  “I don’t play a lot,” the player said. “And, I didn’t scratch the tickets right away.”  The woman said she waited until after dinner to scratch off the tickets, and was surprised when one of the games revealed a $50,000 prize.  “I didn’t believe it, and my family didn’t believe it either,” the winner recalled.

War Grenade Removed From Home

Police in Illinois said a bomb squad was summoned to a home when residents contacted authorities about an “old war relic” that may have been a grenade.  The Village of Westchester said in a Facebook post that police were summoned to a home where residents reported finding an “old war relic” that may have been an explosive device.  A photo released by police shows what appears to be an old grenade, possibly dating as far back as World War II.  Police said the suspected explosive was removed from the scene by the Cook County Bomb Squad.

Tiger Missing During Drug Raid

An alligator, drugs, guns and money were seized during a raid at two homes in Albuquerque last month, but New Mexico wildlife officials said Saturday they are still searching for a young tiger they believe is being illegally kept as a pet.  Investigators think the tiger is with someone “in New Mexico or a nearby state,” New Mexico Department of Game and Fish conservation officers said in a statement.  The animal was believed to be less than 1 year old and weigh under 60 pounds (27 kilograms), but tigers can grow to 600 pounds (272 kilograms), the department said, calling large meat-eating animals such as tigers and alligators a clear danger to the public.  Wild tigers are listed globally as an endangered species. Alligators were listed as endangered in the U.S. from 1967 to 1987, but today thrive in the wild.

Florida Woman Arrested For “Twerking” On Student

A Florida woman was arrested on allegations that include lewd conduct with a student after a teenager alleged she rubbed against him at his prom when she was a teacher.  Julie Kinsey Hoover was jailed based on an arrest warrant that alleges she was an authority figure who solicited or engaged in lewd conduct with a student and contributed to the delinquency of a minor who attended a private school in Perry, where she was employed, authorities said.  Jail records indicate Hoover was booked and released Tuesday. Her case included zero bond, according to those records.  Hoover was arrested Tuesday after an investigator spoke to an 18-year-old who said the suspect encouraged him to drink alcohol and rubbed her body against him lasciviously when he was a 17-year-old at the Point of Grace Christian school’s prom April 8, the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
