Did Kourtney K Get Married?

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are not legally married.  The pair, who reportedly tied the knot in Las Vegas after the Grammys Sunday, had a ceremony but there was nothing legal about it, as they never got a marriage license, sources say.  “They had a ceremony, but on paper it’s not legal yet,” one insider shared Tuesday morning.  Clark County records for marriage licenses and certificates also show that the couple never applied for or received one.   The couple’s ceremony was chock full of Vegas kitsch, including an Elvis Presley officiant. It appears the One Love Chapel made an exception for the A-list couple, as its website notes that it won’t conduct a ceremony without a marriage license.  Given that they fake-eloped in Vegas for fun, perhaps a real wedding is just around the corner. Sources told TMZ — who originally reported the wedding news but then backtracked, that they are planning “several” other celebrations with “lots of fanfare.”  Kardashian and Barker got engaged during a beachfront proposal in October 2021 after dating for about nine months.
*******We get it.. a fake wedding for a fake family!!
***Gee.. what are the chances a Kardashian Kamera Krew was there???

Britney Spears Confirms Book

Britney Spears confirmed she is writing a book in a since-deleted Instagram post Monday.  She called the process “healing and therapeutic.”  “Well I’m writing a book at the moment and it’s actually healing and therapeutic… it’s also hard bringing up past events in my life,” Spears wrote. “I’ve never been able to express openly!!! I can only imagine that I do sound childish but I was extremely young with those events took place.”  Spears noted that she’s using the “intellectual approach” to expressing her feelings and referenced Justin Timberlake’s apology.  Timberlake apologized to Spears in 2021 after the singer received backlash following the release of “Framing Britney Spears.”  “But instead of using my heart, I’m using the intellectual approach as Justin [Timberlake] did when he apologized to Janet [Jackson] and me. Although he was never bullied or threatened by his family, he took the opportunity to apologize 20 years later!!! Timing is EVERYTHING!!!”  Simon & Schuster landed the book deal after a bidding war with multiple publishers.

Christina Haack Got Married

Christina Haack quietly married Joshua Hall at a private ceremony after a year of dating.  TMZ said the couple wed in California sometime in the past six months. The pair are legally married but plan to host an intimate ceremony with friends and family in the future.  Haack has updated her real estate license to reflect her name change to Christina Hall. She also changed her Instagram profile to include her married name.  Haack was previously married to her Flip or Flop co-star Tarek El Moussa and to British television personality Ant Anstead. She has two children, daughter Taylor and son Brayden, with El Moussa, and a son, Hudson, with Anstead.  Haack and Hall got engaged in Mexico in September, while Anstead is now dating actress Renée Zellweger.

Will Smith Was Almost Dropped By Agency

People at Will Smith’s talent agency reportedly debated about whether to dump him for slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars.  The Creative Artists Agency’s Bryan Lourd, Richard Lovett and Kevin Huvane faced a dilemma of historic proportions when their client whacked Rock across the face for joking about his wife’s hair — then went on to win the Academy Award for his role in “King Richard,” the Daily Beast reported.  An internal debate about the matter overshadowed a leadership retreat held by the famed agency at the swanky Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, according to the outlet.  Three sources who spoke with Lourd told the Daily Beast that he told several people at the event that CAA — which is in the process of acquiring rival agency ICM, which represents Rock — should get rid of Smith.  But Lovett did not want to lose Will, whom he personally reps, and was described as “frazzled” amid the fallout, according to the report.  It was also complicated by the fact that the agency had been associated with disgraced movie producer Harvey Weinstein, the outlet noted.  A CAA spokesperson insisted that “there is no truth” to the report.  “Simply never happened,” the rep said.
*******Excuse us… are we missing something? Did Will invade the Ukraine?? Jeez!!!
*******Everybody’s getting the vapors, but… nobody died!! (We’re looking at YOU, Alec Baldwin!)
*****Moral: if you’re looking for a friend, don’t look at your agent!!!

Late Rapper Propped Up At Night Club

The body of late rapper Goonew was propped up for his “final show” at a Washington D.C. nightclub over the weekend. He was shot in a car park in Prince George’s County, Maryland on March 18 and died hours later in hospital.  His life was celebrated on Sunday with a memorial party at Bliss Nightclub. Footage appears to show his body hoisted up on stage as his supporters danced nearby.  Bliss Nightclub has since issued a statement revealing that it was “never made aware” that Goonew’s body would be on display. “Bliss was contacted by a local funeral home to rent out our venue for Goonew’s home-going celebration. We sincerely apologize to all those who may be upset or offended. Please keep Goonew’s family and friends in your prayers at this difficult time. Respectfully, Bliss DC.” the statement said.  See the video HERE.

Dallas Got Rickrolled

A Texas drone business teamed up with an online content creator to create a giant QR code over Dallas to “Rickroll” the entire city.  Digital content creator Jared Guynes, best known as the creator of the “Epic Nerf Battles” series of events, teamed up with Fort Worth-based drone display company Sky Elements to put a giant QR code in the night sky over Dallas.  People on the ground who scanned the QR code with their phones were taken to the YouTube video for Rick Astley’s song, “Never Gonna Give You Up,” a classic online prank known as a “Rickroll.”  “That’s right Dallas. You were witness to the first ever drone rickroll in history. I thought you’d get a kick out of it,” Guynes said in a Facebook post.  Sky Elements posted a video to YouTube showing some behind-the-scenes footage of how the QR code was created by an arrangement of drones and the reactions of people on the ground.  See the video HERE.

Bear Caught Searching For Snacks

An Ohio couple’s doorbell camera captured the moment a curious bear wandered onto their front porch and went rooting around for snacks.  The Ellsworth Township homeowners said their doorbell security camera recorded footage Sunday night of a bear walking up the steps to their front porch.  The video shows the bear rooting around the couple’s belongings and batting at a bird feeder in an attempt to find some food.  The couple said the bear left after a few minutes.  A New Hampshire couple detailed their encounter with a similarly curious bear about a week earlier at their home.  Melissa Champney said she and her husband awoke late at night March 26 to the sound of a bear that had wandered into their home through an ajar door and became stuck in their mud room when the door closed behind it.  See the video HERE.

Driving Instructor Busted For DUI

A driving instructor is facing DUI charges after allegedly driving with a blood alcohol content that is nearly three times the legal limit in Florida.   The Florida Highway Patrol arrested Gregory Sorensen Friday night after troopers say he was driving drunk in New Port Richey while in a vehicle adorned with student-driver decals and an open pack of Natural Light beer in the back seat.   Troopers say they pulled Sorensen over because he was drifting in his lane and they wanted to see if he was suffering from a medical issue.  Troopers approached Sorensen and asked if he was okay. He said he was fine, but troopers say he slurred his speech, had alcohol on his breath and had bloodshot, watery eyes.  According to FHP, Sorenson handed troopers his Chase credit card when they asked for his driver’s license. While he was fumbling for his license, troopers spotted an open 24-pack of beer in the backseat of his car. That’s when Sorensen was asked to get out of the car.

6 Surprising Ways People Are Earning an Income Without Leaving the House

THE PENNY HOARDER

  1. Let This App Pay You up to $83 Per Win for Playing Bingo on Your Phone

Lots of us already play games on our phones for fun or just to pass the time. Want to see if you can win money at it?

There’s a free iPhone app called Bingo Cash that lets you play for real money. You could get paid up to $83 per win.  You might be thinking: There’s got to be a catch. This is definitely one of those spammy apps, right?  Wrong. There really isn’t a catch. Sure, you can pay to play in some higher-stakes tournaments, but there’s no pressure. And, in fact, there aren’t even any annoying ads.

The game is based on a classic Bingo format — plus tons of variations on the game. You’ll battle it out against other players at your same skill level. Everyone gets the same board and sees the same Bingo balls, so winning is totally a matter of skill. The top three players in a game can win real money — anywhere from $1 to $83.  Over on the App Store, it has a 4.7-star rating (out of 5).To get started, just download the free app and start playing your first game immediately.

  1. Invest in Fine Art (Even if You’re Not a Millionaire)

You might be thinking you need at least a few more zeros in your checking account before you can even start thinking about investing in art. Warhol? Monet? Banksy? Yeah right. You just managed to finally put away $1,000. Those guys are way out of your league, right?  Wrong. You could still get started with what you’ve got. Seriously.  A company called Masterworks is helping us average folk invest in multimillion-dollar works of art — traditionally one of the most lucrative investment options that’s only available to the super rich. But you don’t need hundreds of thousands of dollars to buy a masterpiece outright; with Masterworks, you can buy shares, instead.

Here’s why it’s a good option: Fine art is super valuable, so it can potentially earn you more money than the stock market. Over the long term, the stock market will earn you an average annual return of 7%, but Masterworks lets you invest in art that’s historically seen a 10% to 25% price appreciation.  This is a long-term strategy, so patience pays off here — literally. But once your piece of art sells, you get your cut of the profits.

It takes less than a minute to request an invitation, and you could become a Masterworks member by the end of the day.
