Sherri Shepherd To Replace Wendy Williams
Sherri Shepherd is set to host her own daytime talk show in the fall titled Sherri, which will take over the time periods held by The Wendy Williams Show. The Show will be ending after 13 seasons. Shepherd has been a frequent guest-host on The Wendy Williams Show this season as Williams deals with health issues. Sherri will be distributed by Lionsgate’s Debmar-Mercury. David Perler (The Wendy Williams Show) will executive produce Sherri along with Shepherd and Jawn Murray. “OMG! I am so excited to have my dream come true and debut my very own talk show Sherri in the fall. I can’t wait until I return to NY to host the show and merge everything I love…pop culture, talk, entertainment and comedy. I am thankful for Debmar-Mercury and Fox for partnering with me on this show and look forward to this new journey,” Shepherd said in a statement. “Since Wendy is still not available to host the show as she continues on her road to recovery, we believe it is best for our fans, stations and advertising partners to start making the transition now. Britney Spears To Release Memoir
Britney Spears is set to release a new memoir through publisher Simon & Schuster, according to multiple reports. People magazine also confirmed that Britney Spears will be releasing a memoir and that she has signed a $15 million book deal. It will cover Britney Spears’ career and relationship with her family. The book deal comes after a Los Angeles judge formally ended her conservatorship in November, which was handled by her father Jamie Spears. Her father became her legal guardian in 2008, taking over all of Britney Spears’ financial decisions amid mental health concerns.

Kerene Barefield, an executive producer for True Royalty TV, said the revelation came during a recent taping of “The Royal Beat,” a talk show for the streaming service that features exclusive interviews with royal experts and palace insiders. “The royal experts shared, by speaking to friends of the Duke of York, that he still believes he has a future as a royal,” Barefield says. “The language that he used in his statement, like the fact he will be helping sex trafficking victims, could be seen as him trying to reposition himself and reinvent himself in the eyes of the public. It’s my understanding that [his daughter] Princess Eugenie also has a charity that helps sex trafficking victims. Guy Wears 90 Shirts During Half-Marathon
A runner in an Alberta half-marathon attempted a Guinness World Record by taking on the 13.1-mile course while wearing 90 T-shirts. David Eliuk ran Sunday’s Hypothermic Half Marathon in Edmonton while wearing 90 T-shirts in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record of 76 shirts, which was set by British runner David Smith in 2019. “It hurt,” Eliuk told Global News after the race. “It feels great to be done. I had an amazing team behind me.” Eliuk said he trained for five months before the attempt, but still hit some unforeseen difficulties from the weight and constriction of his wardrobe. “I had a lot of issues with constriction on my arms in the first lap and the crew was able to help me get through that,” Eliuk said. Eliuk said evidence from his attempt is being submitted to Guinness World Records for official recognition.

Giant Black Bear On The Loose!
A 500-pound black bear nicknamed Hank the Tank is causing alarm in a town near California’s Lake Tahoe where the massive bruin has been blamed for breaking into dozens of properties. Police in South Lake Tahoe, Calif., said the bear struck again on Friday, escalating his antics by busting into a locked and secured home rather than his usual modus operandi of entering unlocked garages in his search for food. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife says Hank is responsible for damage to 38 homes and has triggered more than 150 calls to authorities, according to KNRV-TV. Officers responding to the latest call said they found the bear inside a locked home after he had apparently squeezed through the small window. Police said they “banged on the exterior of the home” until Hank “popped out a back door.” Police remained in the area “to ensure he continued on his way without damaging any other homes.” The repeated appearances of Hank in the same gated South Lake Tahoe neighborhood are concerning enough for state conservation officials to consider whether the bruin should be trapped and euthanized. Euthanasia is a measure of last resort for “severely habituated or human-food conditioned black bears,” the agency said, but added in a statement to the area’s homeowners that “for months — and despite hazing and other mitigation efforts, the target bear has caused extensive property damage and forcefully entered several homes — including occupied homes.” See the video HERE.

Lost Engagement Ring Found In The Snow
A Texas woman who lost her engagement ring in the Colorado snow during a vacation with her fiance was reunited with the precious item, thanks to a stranger with a metal detector. Paulina Morales said she and her fiance, Deven Maraj, were visited Breckenridge earlier this month when her engagement ring fell from her finger while she was playing in the snow on a trail just west of the Blue River. The couple spent days searching the area for the ring, which had been custom designed by Maraj’s father, but eventually had to go home to Texas. Morales and Maraj offered a $500 reward for the ring’s return, and Summit County resident Tony Pizzamigalo decided to take up the search after seeing a CBS Denver report on the missing item. Pizzamigalo, who used his metal detector, said it took him only a short time to find the ring in the area specified by the couple. Pizzamigalo said he plans to donate the $500 reward to the Summit Rescue Group, a volunteer team of mountain rescuers.

TikTok User Punches Shark!
A TikTok user took to the video sharing site to recount the story of how she “won” a confrontation with a lemon shark that had latched onto her foot by punching it repeatedly in the face. Heather West, aka @wildwitchofthew3st on TikTok, said in a series of videos posted to the site that she was snorkeling off Dry Tortugas National Park with friends late last month, and they had intended to head to Loggerhead Key to visit the Little Africa reef, but turned back toward land due to choppy conditions. West said she was the last member of her party in the water when she felt something tug on her foot. “I immediately turned and when I did, I felt something snatch my foot. My brain couldn’t really comprehend what was going on and I thought one of the guys had grabbed my foot, trying to scare me,” West said in one of the videos. West said she realized it was a shark grasping onto her flipper when it started to pull and its teeth went through the rubber to break her skin.
