New Pinocchio Sneak Peak
Disney+ is giving a glimpse of the new film Pinocchio. They shared a teaser trailer for the movie Tuesday featuring Tom Hanks. Pinocchio is a live-action remake of Disney’s 1940 animated movie of the same name. The story is based on the Carlo Collodi book The Adventures of Pinocchio. Pinocchio follows Geppetto (Hanks), a kind and lonely woodcarver whose wooden puppet, Pinocchio, comes to life after Geppetto wishes upon a star. Cynthia Erivo and Luke Evans also star as the Blue Fairy and the Coachman, with Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as the voice of Pinocchio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as the voice of Jiminy Cricket and Keegan-Michael Key as “Honest” John Worthington Foulfellow. Pinocchio is written by Robert Zemeckis and Chris Weitz and directed by Zemeckis (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump). The film premieres Sept. 8 on Disney+. See the teaser HERE.

Owen Wilson Tesla Tires Stolen
Owen Wilson had the tires stolen off of his Tesla — while it was parked right outside his Santa Monica, California, home. He walked out of his house Sunday to find the wheels and rims missing from his car, according to TMZ. Police say the estimated cost to replace everything would be around $4,000. Cops are checking surveillance footage for a glimpse of the suspected thief or thieves, the report said. No arrests had been made as of Tuesday.

Kevin Spacey Says He Will Appear In Court
Kevin Spacey has said he will “voluntarily appear” in the U.K. to defend himself against allegations that he raped three men in separate incidents years apart, according to a recent report. Spacey, through his representatives, released a statement to ABC’s “Good Morning America,” in which he thanked the U.K.’s Crown Prosecution Service for reminding the public “that I am entitled to a fair trial, and innocent until proven otherwise.” “While I am disappointed with their decision to move forward, I will voluntarily appear in the U.K. as soon as can be arranged and defend myself against these charges, which I am confident will prove my innocence,” the statement further reads. Spacey was charged last week with four counts of sexually assaulting three men in the U.K. The Crown Prosecution Service said Thursday that the charges against him “follow a review of evidence gathered by the Metropolitan Police.” Spacey was also charged with “causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent,” the agency said. The alleged incidents took place in London between March 2005 and August 2008, and one in western England in April 2013. The alleged victims are now in their 30s and 40s.

Ellen DeGeneres is relaxing after signing off of her talk show after 19 seasons. She and wife Portia de Rossi were photographed Monday grabbing a bite to eat while on vacation in Marrakesh, Morocco. They were also seen holding hands as they took in the sights the African city has to offer. She revealed she planned to head to Africa to spend time at the education campus she opened that works to save wild mountain gorillas. Sources say that the end of the show brought a lot of emotions to the set and to the host herself. “Ellen’s been crying a lot,” a source shared. “The whole few weeks leading up to the finale were very emotional.” Another source added that DeGeneres didn’t want to make a big hurrah of the last episode’s taping. “She wanted to go out quietly,” a highly placed TV source told Page Six. “It was friends and family of the cast and crew in the audience.” The show found itself embroiled in a toxic workplace scandal last year after BuzzFeed News published an article featuring interviews with 11 former staffers describing the awful conditions under DeGeneres’ watch.

William and Kate To Miss Lilibet’s Birthday
Prince William and Kate Middleton will be over a hundred miles away from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s celebrations for their daughter Lilibet’s first birthday as they visit Wales as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, according to Daily Mail. While there, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be meeting performers and crew involved in a special concert at Cardiff Castle. Meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth will reportedly be meeting her namesake great-granddaughter, at a birthday gathering at Frogmore Cottage, where Harry and Meghan are set to stay while in town. The missed opportunity for some brotherly bonding between them comes amid rumors that the two brothers have been holding weekly Zoom chats in an attempt to heal their relationship. Markle and Harry’s daughter turns 1 on June 4. This will be Lilibet’s first visit to the UK since her parents exited royal life in January 2020 and moved to California.

Matt Gone was awarded the Guinness title for most squares tattooed on the body in 2014, when the squares on his body were tallied at 848. Gone said in a new video from Guinness World Records that he has since added 20-30 more squares to his body in the form of various flags. Snake Found In “Sonic” Kitchen
Workers cooking burgers and tater tots in a Sonic fast-food kitchen fled after discovering an intruder hiding behind the deep fryer. Brunswick police Lt. Matthew Wilson found employees of the Sonic drive-in huddled in the parking lot when he arrived to investigate last Saturday. On the phone they had described the culprit as brown with diamonds on its back. “When I saw it, I could tell it was just a ball python and not a rattlesnake,” Wilson told The Brunswick News. He not only removed the large, non-venomous snake, but also found it a new home with a friend who has a large terrarium and a fondness for snakes. Wilson says the python likely slipped into the Sonic’s kitchen on May 21 through an open back door, finding a cozy spot for its cold-blooded body behind the hot fryer. Police don’t know where the snake came from, though Wilson says it had likely been a pet that got turned loose by its owner.

Politician Accused Of Being “Banksy”
A local politician in the U.K. has resigned in an effort to quiet rumors that he is the anonymous British street artist Banksy. Pembroke Dock town councilor William Gannon was just elected earlier this month, but he couldn’t quell rumors about his supposed illicit artistic activities in January, which he believes may have been started by his political opponents. “If I’m Banksy, then everybody is,” Gannon told the Telegraph. “It’s so ridiculous that it’s laugh-out-loud funny, but there’s also a sinister element to it. The joke is on me.” Gannon is, however, an artist, and his work often includes public murals at sites such as children’s playgrounds and hospitals. His website described his work as “Banksy-esque, not intentionally,” and includes a photo of him spray painting a skateboard ramp back in the 1980s. To help resolve the issue, Gannon has started an “I Am Not Banksy” campaign, and is handing out pins with the message to local residents. His hope is that the project could solve the mystery of the artist’s identity once and for all.

Groom Asked Bride To Remove Glasses For Wedding
A groom-to-be has landed himself in hot water after he asked his fiancée to ditch her glasses in favor of contact lenses for their upcoming wedding – because he thinks it’ll make her “look nicer”. The anonymous man posted on Reddit to ask if he was in the wrong for his request, as he explained that when he first met his wife-to-be, she almost always wore contacts instead of glasses. However, the woman later developed a sty in her eye that made wearing contacts for multiple days painful, so she swapped back to wearing glasses for the sake of her eye health. But because the man “prefers” his partner in contacts over glasses, he asked if she would be willing to go back to contacts for their wedding day – to which she said he was “destroying her self image”. In his post, he said: “My fiancée and I are engaged and getting married in a couple of weeks. She has pretty bad vision, so needs contacts/glasses in order to function. The Most Surprising Symptoms Of A Migraine Attack

Confusion, Brain Fog Or Loss Of Speech
If you’ve ever been unable to find the right words, you’ve abruptly lost the ability to express yourself, or you completely forgot what you were talking about mid-sentence, this could be a scary (but common) migraine symptom. “Difficulty with speech, memory loss, confusion [are some of the most] surprising symptoms of migraine,” said Dr. Medhat Mikhael, a pain management specialist and medical director of the non-operative program at the Spine Health Center at MemorialCare Orange Coast Medical Center in California. Migraines can lead to dysfunction in the language centers of the brain, resulting in a loss of being able to express yourself, Blumenfeld said.
“In the cortex — where language and vocabulary are stored — that part of the brain is switching off during this phase of the migraine,” Blumenfeld said.
Dizziness Or Feeling Disoriented
Many patients with vertigo tend to have migraines as well, Blumenfeld said. “There are a lot of patients in this particular population who end up also being migraine patients,” he explained.
Specifically, they might have what’s called “vestibular migraines. A vestibular migraine doesn’t always include a painful headache, meaning that dizziness on its own can be a symptom or can be associated with regular migraine attacks. If you have a history of migraines and occasionally have dizzy spells ― even if some of those dizzy spells don’t have migraine pain involved ― it can still be a migraine attack, especially if there is “no other disease to explain dizziness,” Blumenfeld explained.
Fatigue
Tired all the time? Migraines may be to blame. Both before and during an attack, as well as in between attacks, chronic fatigue is a symptom of chronic migraines.
“The fatigue can be physical, mental or both,” Blumenfeld said. “You can experience cognitive slowing ― slow thinking — as well as lethargy. If your brain is working slowly, and you’re trying to be productive, you’re going to get fatigued more quickly. It’s all coming from the cortex in the brain.” If fatigue is a major symptom for you, Blumenfeld said treating migraines properly can help you get some of your energy back. Bring up this symptom with your doctor when discussing a medication plan.
“Certain medications used to treat migraine can increase fatigue, including some of the older migraine preventative medications,” he explained. “You might get rid of the headache, but the patient is [wiped] out.”
Numbness Or Sensitivity
“I think the most surprising migraine symptom — that people do not recognize as such — is something called allodynia,” said Dr. Huma U. Sheikh, a board-certified neurologist with subspecialty training in headache medicine from Harvard-Brigham and Women’s Hospital. “This is a symptom where ordinary touch can begin to feel irritating or painful.”
She said that if you’ve ever felt like your “hair hurts,” or you’re suddenly sensitized to a necklace or glasses that you wear regularly, this could be “due to hyper-sensitization of the nerves that begin to portray normal sensations as painful.”
Anxiety And Depression
Anxiety and depression are “very common in migraine, and genetically linked — these conditions run in families,” Blumenfeld said. “In the period between attacks, [many people with migraines] tend to get a lot of anxiety — you may be anxious about the next attack, but you may have anxiety and panic attacks independent of worrying about the headache.”
“If you look at the incidents of anxiety and depression, the more frequent the migraines are, the greater the association,” he continued. “In chronic migraine patients, you see anxiety and depression more than a third of the time.”
Digestive Distress And Nausea
Nausea, vomiting and diarrhea can be connected to migraines, both as symptoms themselves as well as in the form of a comorbid condition, Blumenfeld said.
“In migraine attacks, what has been shown is that the emptying of the stomach is delayed, [known as] gastric stasis,” he continued. That can lead to those feelings of nausea and stomach problems.
Chocolate Cravings
Before any pain sets in, there’s a first phase of a migraine attack called the premonitory phase, Blumenfeld said.
This is typically comprised of fatigue, neck discomfort, yawning, thirst, and food cravings, including chocolate cravings, he added, carefully pointing out that the chocolate in this instance is “a craving and not a trigger.”
So if you suddenly have a hankering for a brownie or are ready to inhale a bag of M&Ms, this could be a warning. The craving, alongside the other symptoms of this phase, may help you to identify an oncoming attack before the blinding pain commences, giving you an opportunity to find medication.
Nasal Congestion
Many migraine attacks begin with nasal congestion, said Maureen A. Moriarty, a headache specialist and current fellow of the American Headache Society. Stimulation of pain pathways in the trigeminal nerve ― which is part of your nervous system ― creates the congestion, she explained.
“Unfortunately, many people will often become dependent on decongestants in the attempt to alleviate this symptom,” Moriarty said. “Not recognizing this as part of the migraine, they fail to mention the symptom to their provider. It is important to let your provider know if nasal congestion precedes a headache. Control of migraine attacks can control this symptom.”
