New Book On The Royal Secrets Coming Out
“You couldn’t hide anything from anyone,” one palace staffer told British author Tom Quinn, whose book, “Kensington Palace: An Intimate Memoir from Queen Mary to Meghan Markle,” will be released later this month. Princess Di’s staff had to point out her habit of nude sunbathing in her rooftop garden wasn’t as private as she thought. She believed the area to be safe even from hovering helicopters, until her servants informed the princess many of the choppers had high-resolution binoculars. But it was two construction workers who got up close and personal, when a barrier that would normally obscure the view was down as Diana was tanning one day. Diana and Prince Charles were also often heard engaging in noisy arguments from their Kensington Palace apartments, Quinn notes in the book, which he detailed in The Daily Mail. Drama has also plagued the latest generation of royals. Meghan quickly earned herself unflattering nicknames from staff, who dubbed her “Me-Gain,” “the Duchess of Difficult,” “Di 2” and “Di Lite.” Markle and Prince Harry have since moved on to America.

Megan Fox Denies Michael Bay Did Anything Wrong
Megan Fox took to social media to post a lengthy statement regarding a resurfaced 2009 interview she did with Jimmy Kimmel, where she recalled having to wear a “stars-and-stripes bikini” and “6-inch heels” for a scene in the Michael Bay-directed film “Bad Boys II.” That same year, Jason Solomon, film critic for The Guardian, claimed Fox told him that her “Transformers” audition had included a visit to Bay’s home, where Bay allegedly “made [Fox] wash his Ferrari while he filmed her.” Addressing the audition, Fox said she was 19 or 20 when she tried out for the role, which did involve her working on his car; however, it didn’t take place at his home. “It was at the Platinum Dunes studio parking lot, there were several other crew members and employees present and I was at no point undressed or anything similar,” she stated. “I was not under aged at the time and I was not made to ‘wash’ or work on someone’s cars in a way that was extraneous from the material in the actual script. I hope that whatever opinions are formed around these episodes will at least be seeded in the facts of the events.” Fox, who ended up nabbing the role opposite Shia LaBeouf, thanked her fans for their unwavering support but emphasized that at no point did she feel “preyed upon” by the director. She also denied any inappropriate experiences with Steven Spielberg, who executive produced the franchise.
*******Good move, Megan!! Those are two guys you don’t want to piss off!!

Charlize Theron Denies Engagement To Sean Penn
Charlize Theron is setting the record straight on her past relationship with Sean Penn. She previously described Penn as the “love of my life,” but now says she “barely” dated him for a year. “What? That’s not true. No. I did not ‘almost get married to Sean’, that’s such bulls–t,” Theron said Monday on SiriusXM’s “The Howard Stern Show” when asked if they were ever engaged. “No, we dated, that was literally all we did, we dated.” “It was a relationship, for sure. We were definitely exclusive, but it was for barely a year,” Theron, who was on the show to promote her new Netflix film, “The Old Guard,” said. “We never moved in. I was never going to marry him. It was nothing like that.” The couple reportedly began dating in late 2013 and split in the summer of 2015. A source confirmed to Page Six at the time that the couple had ended their engagement.

Bill Cosby Wins Right To Appeal
Bill Cosby has won the right to appeal his 2018 sexual assault conviction. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has agreed to review two aspects of the case that Cosby is challenging the judge’s decision to allow prosecutors to call five other accusers and to introduce evidence that he’d given women quaaludes in the past. He is currently serving a three- to 10-year sentence after a jury found him guilty of drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand in 2004 during a second trial. The jury in Cosby’s first trial in 2017 deadlocked after six days of deliberations. The Court will also examine an agreement from a decade ago that Cosby had with former Philadelphia District Attorney Bruce Castor. The deal granted Cosby immunity from prosecution. The fallen funnyman said he relied on that promise before agreeing to the deposition.

New Girlfriend Suddenly Skips Out!-(National Enquirer)
“Riverdale” star Skeet Ulrich was gobsmacked when a bodyguard came home instead of his new girlfriend, Megan Blake Irwin, and announced he was packing her bags! The bodyguard announced the Australian model, 25, would be leaving on a private plane-even though she had moved in with Skeet, 50, less than a month earlier! Several days later, she was spotted aboard a yacht belonging to Mariah Carey’s ex, billionaire James Packer. “There was no explanation at all,” a source spilled. “Then she appeared to be having the time of her life lounging on a party boat just off the coast of Mexico in a skimpy bikini. It was very odd!” Only a few days earlier, Megan posted pictures and video of her and Skeet-with her flashing a diamond ring, saying he was “mine forever,” and hinting they were engaged. Skeet later denied the engagement through his rep, while Megan didn’t respond to a request for comment.
Roger: Fame Made Me Lonely!-(Globe)
Rocker Roger Daltrey hated the fame that came from being in The Who-because it made him feel lonely! “Human contact. That’s what I didn’t like about being a celebrity,” says the 76-year-old lead singer of the famed band. “It kind of distanced me from my mates and everyone treated me differently immediately after I became famous. I didn’t like that. I never wanted to be different. I like to just chat to people and be treated normally.”
Julianne & Brooks: Brokenhearted-(Us Weekly)
Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich are attempting new beginnings after calling it quits on their marriage of almost three years. Since their May breakup, the NHL star, 36, debuted a Mohawk (“Viking status,” his estranged wife commented on Instagram). Hough, 31, morphed her signature blond locks to brunette. A source says transformation is a “reflection of her feelings” now. “She’s not doing great,” says the source, who notes that it was Laich pushing for the divorce. “She’s super upset.”
Q & A: Joel McHale-(Star)
Joel McHale entertained audiences while poking fun at celebrities on The Soup, then became a celeb himself with his role on Community. The actor is now appearing in the thriller Becky, as he hosted the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association’s Virtual Beastly Ball.
What can you say about Becky?
The film is wonderfully bonkers and violent. It’s definitely an R [rating]-don’t bring the kids! Lulu Wilson’s a revelation. Kevin James is terrifying. As for my character, Jeff, it doesn’t work out great for me. Definitely a bad day.
How else are you keeping busy?
Stargirl just came out. In Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge, I voice Johnny Cage. And Twilight Zone comes out [this month].
Tell us about voicing Starman in CW’s Stargirl.
It was one of my favorite roles. I got to play a superhero and I’d kill to do that, so that was really fun.
Jen and Courteney’s Panicked Calls To Matthew-(Life & Style)
When it hasn’t been your day, your week, your month or even your year! Matthew Perry stepped out in Malibu on June 8 looking worse for wear-and it’s got Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox very concerned, an insider claims, especially since the 50-year-old actor, who’s long struggled with substance abuse, recently split from his girlfriend of two years, talent manager Molly Hurwitz. “They’ve seen him spiral before and fear that history could repeat itself,” a source says. “No one has found being in lockdown easy, including Matt. Add to that his recent breakup and he’s got a lot on his mind.” The erstwhile Rachel, 51, and Monica, 56, “can’t help but worry about Matt. When he’s in a dark place cuts himself off from the rest of the world,” says the source. “So they’ve been frantically calling, checking in to see how he’s doing, anything to make Matt feel less alone right now.” Could he have better friends?!
Chatter-(People)
“I swear, I wouldn’t go back to being 20 if somebody paid me.”-Alicia Keys, on the decade being the “worst time ever” for her.
“I lost my mind, and did she. And then we had it out, and then we came back together, and now it’s great.”-Dax Shepard, on isolating with wife Kristen Bell.
“We have eggs out the wazoo.”-Jennifer Garner, on her pet chickens keeping her family stocked.
Meghan’s Secret Calls To Her Ex-(In Touch)
Divorce is hard. Sharing custody is harder. Sharing custody with the British royal family when your wife marries a prince, in the unforgiving spotlight of London’s tabloid media, is next level.” That was the concept for a new TV show pitched by producer Trevor Engelson-Meghan Markle’s ex-husband-that was picked up by Fox in September 2017. It wasn’t hard to guess where the idea came from, though Trevor, 43, insisted it was purely fictional. But just two months later, Meghan and Prince Harry announced their engagement. Then things suddenly got much more real. Meghan was put under a microscope in the British press, and her estranged family members became constant fixtures in the run-up to her May 2018 wedding. “She couldn’t bear to think of how much the scrutiny would intensify when a major American TV network began airing a show clearly inspired by her failed marriage,” says a source close to Trevor. “It’d be humiliating.” So, despite having no contact with Trevor in years, “Meghan reached out to him in a series of secret calls to ask him to reconsider the project.” As for whether Meghan filled Harry in on what she was up to, “I’m not sure he ever found out,” says the source. He’d be hurt, says a palace insider: “While he’d never think Meghan would cheat on him, he wouldn’t be happy if she kept conversations with her ex a secret from him. It’s a breakdown of trust.”

45 Pound Tortoise Caught
An animal control officer in a suburb of Chicago responded to an unusual call that involved her having to wrangle a 45-pound African tortoise. Morton Grove Animal Control Officer Megan Glawocz said she responded Friday to a report of a large reptile eating grass on a residential road near the Walgreens on Waukegan Road. “I probably had about eight families on the block taking pictures of the tortoise when I arrived,” Glowacz told the Chicago Tribune. “It wasn’t afraid. It was just having a good grass meal and enjoying the sunshine. It was a very friendly tortoise.” Glowacz said she needed help from another officer to lift the massive tortoise into a police car while she attempted to find the animal’s owner. The officer said the tortoise, named Betty, was reunited with her owner later in the afternoon.

Police Catch Alligator
Police in Georgia said officers encountered “a dangerous subject” attempting to walk across a stretch of highway and they safely apprehended the culprit — an alligator. The Gregg County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded Sunday evening to Highway 135, where an alligator was spotted wandering across the roadway. Deputies apprehended the alligator with help from the Department of Public Safety and a game warden. “The Gregg County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a dangerous subject illegally crossing Hwy. 135 this evening,” the sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post. “The area was surrounded. After a brief foot chase the suspect was apprehended, and flex cuffs were applied. No injuries were reported.” See the pic HERE.

Husband And Wife Donate Organs To Same Person
A Florida woman said she feels a little closer to her late husband after donating a kidney to the man who received two of her spouse’s organs 16 years earlier. Terri Herrington, of Pensacola, said she struck up a close friendship with Jeffrey Granger, of Wacissa, after the man received a kidney and a pancreas from her husband, Bryan Herrington, when he died after a workplace accident in 2004. Herrington said she did not hesitate to offer one of her kidneys to her friend when he announced in 2019 that the kidney was failing and he was going back on coronavirus. Granger posted on social media that he was seeking a new kidney, and Herrington responded by asking: “Did you think I was kidding?” Herrington said her kidney being reunited with her late husband’s organs makes her feel closer to Bryan. “We are back together,” she told CNN.

Youngest Bridge Champion
An 8-year-old California boy has become the youngest bridge player to ever be awarded the title of Life Master by the world’s largest organization dedicated to the card game. The American Contract Bridge League said Andrew Chen of San Jose was granted the title of Life Master just three days after his eighth birthday. The organization said it normally takes players decades to accumulate 500 master points by playing at tournaments and accredited clubs, but Andrew was able to earn his points in just two years by participating in local games and playing online. His final points toward the Life Master title came in a May 27 online game hosted by Palo Alto bridge club Think Slam. “I’m totally thrilled,” Andrew said. “I feel like my hard work has paid off, and I want to thank everyone who helped getting me there.”

How To Assess Your Coronavirus Risk Before Doing An Activity
Huffington Post
Check coronavirus stats in your state
“There’s a wide misinterpretation of what it means it to be reopening businesses, even in phases,” said Irwin Redlener, director of the National Center for Disaster Preparedness and professor of public health at Columbia University in New York. “People equate the word ‘reopening’ to getting back to normal, and that’s a very big and dangerous mistake.”
It’s important to listen to the caveats of each reopening phase so that you know what is expected of you as a customer, worker or business owner to help your community prevent the virus from spreading rapidly, Redlener said.
“Reopening has a very localized meaning,” said Felipe Lobelo, an epidemiologist and senior physician consultant in population health research for Kaiser Permanente of Georgia. “People need to be aware of how much virus transmission is in their ZIP codes or counties. The more local information you’re able to get, the better.”
This means that while it’s important to know what’s going on in your state, dig a little deeper and look into that stats in your town, along with the recommendations of area health officials.
Think about other people’s risk in addition to your own
Determining your individual risk is fairly easy, Redlener said. But in a pandemic, community risk is a larger concern.
“It’s important to think about not only your personal risk, but the risk of your community, and the prevalence of the disease,” Redlener said. “I’ve heard people argue that others must judge for themselves the degree of risk they are willing to take, but that’s not appropriate in this situation.”
Older adults (typically 55 to 65 years and up), especially those with preexisting health conditions, and individuals who are immunocompromised are often the most at risk for contracting and having complications from the coronavirus.
“You have to adopt these reopenings not only to your own personal health status, but the health status of your family, in addition to what the virus transmission is like in your community,” Lobelo said.
When you’re deciding to do an activity, take your family and community members into consideration if you know you’ll be near them after you go out.
“If you’re a single person living alone in an apartment, how you act will be very different to someone living in a multigenerational family home or in close quarters with older relatives who may have chronic illnesses,” Redlener said.
Opt for outside first if you can
“I personally try to avoid closed environments as much as possible,” Lobelo said. “We know that whether it’s an office or a restaurant, these types of indoor settings are much better for transmission of the virus.”
This means if you have to go out (or just really, really want to) try to do it in open air ― even if restaurants in your area are starting to take indoor diners. And if you do end up indoors, make sure to wear a mask, Lobelo said.
Other steps you should be taking are to make sure you continue to social-distance outside and inside, and don’t go out at all if you feel ill.
“These are the best stopgap measures we have until a vaccine is approved and ready,” Redlener said.
Know that your risk increases the more places you go or people you’re around
Don’t go wild the second you’re able to start going to reopened stores, salons, restaurants, camps or day cares.
“There is a cumulative risk the more time you spend in an indoor environment, and the risk increases if a majority of people (or yourself) aren’t wearing masks,” Lobelo said. “Even if you’re trying to keep your distance, the more people you or your kids interact with is an opportunity for the virus to jump between hosts.”
Be strategic about where you choose to go, and limit the number of places and visits. Also consider the collective risk of your family when you put yourself and others in these types of settings.
When in doubt, put social distancing and mask-wearing above all else
In an attempt to offset risk, many people are abiding by a two-week grace period after each phase of reopening to see how their community handles it or is affected. And while this may help calm any personal anxiety, doing this will unfortunately have little effect if you’re more susceptible to the virus.
“No matter what date you decide to start going out, we won’t know how virus transmission was for about 10 days after,” Lobelo said. “Instead, the best thing you can do is to limit your time in indoor places and wear a mask.”
However, both Lobelo and Redlener say that if you find your mental health is suffering due to isolation and you’re a low-risk individual, you should go out as long as you do so safely.
“If there’s someone you want to meet up with and you’re able to have a picnic at the park and stay 6 to 8 feet away, that’s OK,” Redlener said. “Inviting all of your friends over to your apartment and not wearing a mask is not. It’s all about how you apply the principles set by health experts.”
And, once again, remember that this isn’t just about you. These measures are for your friends, your family, your city and the country.
“Every time you take a risk [like not wearing a mask] you’re taking a risk on someone else’s behalf. It’s not just about personal health, it’s about public health,” Redlener said.
