The Recording Academy announced on Tuesday the nominees for the 64th annual Grammy Awards with Kanye West, Drake, Bad Bunny and more receiving nominations. Kevin Spacey Must Pay House Of Cards Studio
An arbitrator ordered actor Kevin Spacey to pay nearly $31 million to the studio that developed Netflix’s House of Cards after he was fired from the show following multiple allegations of sexual misconduct, court filings revealed Monday. Spacey, who starred in the show’s lead role, and his production companies M. Profitt Productions and Trigger Street productions, were ordered to pay the studio, MRC, $29.5 million in damages, $1.2 million in attorney’s fees and $235,000 in additional costs after an arbitrator found he breached his contract by violating the company’s sexual harassment policy. The arbitrator ordered Spacey’s company to make the payments last year. The information was revealed when MRC filed a petition Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court to confirm the arbitration award after it was upheld in a confidential appeal. MRC severed its relationship with Spacey in 2017 and scrapped the sixth and final season of House of Cards before rewriting it without Spacey’s character and running the season with a reduced episode count. The studio later filed an arbitration action against Spacey, claiming he cost the production tens of millions of dollars because of his behavior. Spacey has faced several lawsuits accusing him of sexual abuse, including one from actor Anthony Rapp that is still pending. Another plaintiff in the case was dropped over the summer after he chose to provide his full identity in the case. A criminal investigation in Los Angeles was also dropped after an accuser died, along with a criminal case in Massachusetts and a civil case in Los Angeles.

Olivia Jade Gianulli and her sister, Bella Giannulli, are defending their mother, Lori Loughlin, who pleaded guilty for her role in the college admissions scandal and served time in person. On Monday’s episode of Olivia’s podcast, Conversations With Olivia Jade, she sat down with Bella and reflected on how the “thingy thing with our family” affected their mental health. The siblings also spoke out about what they believed were unfair statements made about their mom. “We both have a really clear perspective … we can just say we’re in the wrong,” Olivia said. “I don’t want that generic kind of topic to be twisted that I’m sitting here asking about mental health and what we went through the last few years and people saying, ‘Are they seriously complaining about this?'” “It’s not complaining,” Bella chimed in. “You have to take what you’ve been through and learn from that. Mel B was reportedly cut from ITV’s “An Audience with Adele” special for making an “awkward as hell” joke about a vibrator. She had been “tasked with asking a question about the best gift Adele had ever received,” a source told the Sun on Monday, but she decided to ad-lib in a way that didn’t work for the top brass at the UK network. “When the cameras were on her, she said she felt silly asking it,” the source said. “Then she made a joke and said she could answer the question for Adele and said it was a vibrator.” While Mel B’s joke didn’t make the final edit, Adele was apparently unfazed and brushed the whole thing off. “No one really laughed, but Adele made a wisecrack about it and moved on,” the source told the newspaper, adding that she was just being “her usual brilliant self.” ITV reportedly was not upset with Mel B and simply made the decision to remove her cameo knowing that millions of families would be tuning in to see Adele sing.

Alec Baldwin Threatened Staff On 30 Rock
Adam Bernstein was one of the directors working on the first season of NBC’s Tina Fey-created critical darling “30 Rock.” While filming a scene during the show’s first season, he held up his thumbs to frame a shot. For reasons unknown, this angered Alec Baldwin, who starred in the show as the hilarious Jack Donaghy, Vice President of East Coast Television and Microwave Oven Programming for General Electric. “According to [editor Doug] Abel, Alec turned to [Bernstein] and said that if he did that one more time, he was going to assault him. And he didn’t say it with a smile on his face,” writes Mike Roe in his new book, “The 30 Rock Book: Inside the Iconic Show, from Blerg to EGOT,” (Abrams Press), out Nov. 30. Abel believes that the animosity between the two was one reason why Bernstein — who went on to direct episodes of “Breaking Bad” and “Fargo,” among others — left the show in 2007 after only 6 episodes.

Oldest Living Cat
An Oregon cat might soon have a Guinness World Records title after his owners discovered he is two years older than the current feline recognized as the world’s oldest living cat. Charly Briggs of Turner said friends suggested she contact Guinness World Records to see if her cat, Samm, might be the world’s oldest living cat at age 26. “I asked Guinness, and they were like, ‘The oldest living cat we have on record right now is 24,'” Briggs told KPTV. “I’m like, ‘What? He’s older than 24.’ I was like just freaking out. Then I was putting it to my friends on social media like, ‘Guys, he could do it. He could win.’ They’re like, ‘Go for it, go for it!’ Yeah, we’re going for it.” Briggs said Samm was a stray when she adopted him in Memphis in 2002, but his veterinarian has confirmed he is 26 years old and in good health. Guinness lists the oldest cat ever as Creme Puff, a Texas feline who lived to 38 years, 3 days.

Man Busted On Motorized Cooler
Police in Australia said a man was cited for driving without a license and officers confiscated his unusual vehicle — a motorized cooler. The Swan Hill Police Service said officers stopped a 25-year-old man, who was spotted driving a motorized cooler on a sidewalk in Kerang, Victoria. A photo posted to Facebook by police shows a blue cooler on a metal platform with four wheels, an engine, and handlebars arranged to indicate the cooler serves as the small vehicle’s seat. Police also shared a photo of the motorized cooler loaded onto the back of a large tow truck. Officers said the cooler was impounded for 30 days, and the man was cited for driving without a license. The Facebook post said the cooler “is considered a vehicle due to the size/engine capacity and must comply with legislative requirements and road rules.”

Man Draws Huge Face With His Bike
A British cyclist seeking to raise awareness of men’s health issues broke a Guinness World Record for the largest continuous GPS drawing by bicycle in 12 hours. Anthony Hoyte, nicknamed the “pedaling Picasso,” covered a distance of 66.48 miles on the streets of London and used a GPS tracking app to create a massive image of a man with a mustache. Hoyte said the image was in recognition of Movember, an annual event that encourages men to grow mustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, including mental health issues. The record-breaking ride began Nov. 13 and was completed 8 1/2 hours later. Hoyte told Guinness he experienced some difficulties early on with unexpected road closures. See the drawing HERE.

Alpacas On The Loose!
A herd of alpacas escaped from their owner’s property in Massachusetts and went wandering through a busy road. Witnesses said the alpacas were spotted Sunday morning on Memorial Avenue in West Springfield, near an Audi dealership. Shawn Smith captured video of the animals being corralled by bystanders who worked to keep them out of the road until their owner was able to return them to their home. The Audi West Springfield dealership said in a Facebook post it is holding a caption contest for a photo of the alpacas.

To help you get what you want, it may pay off to prepare a bit whether you plan to physically go into a store or shop online during the holiday weekend or before.
- Make a list:(and check it twice) Having an idea of what you want to buy can help you focus your energy when you either go into a store or go online.
- Look at ads:Many stores have already released their Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. Some have even started their sales.
- Use online tools:Cullen suggested utilizing the tools many stores have online about quantities available both online and in stores and how many people are shopping for that particular item. It can help you find what you need.
- Know sale dates:Many stores are offering great deals long before Black Friday, so if you wait until then, it may be too late. If there is something you know you want, look at the store’s web site to see if you can get it now.
- Check return policies:Some stores will allow you to return an item to a brick and mortar store if you no longer want the item. Others require online returns. Many retailers have extended their return policies beyond their usual 14, 30, 60, or 90 days from date of purchase to some time after the new year.
- Consider price adjustments or price matching:Some retailers will offer price adjustments if you buy an item and then either they later offer it at a lower price or a competitor does. Just be aware, some retailers exclude Black Friday deals from these practices since the quantities are limited for many items.
- Follow stores on social media:Cullen said many stores will offer specials on top of specials and social media might be a good way to snag them when they happen.
“What we see changing is more of a move towards deals of the hour with different items and different release times throughout the day,” Cullen said. “Customers should keep an eye out for some of those things because something unexpected might pop up on sale.”

Here is some basic information about a few big retailers to help you get the best deals.
Amazon
Amazon began holiday deals in early October to get things started early. They have a “Holiday Gift List” feature you can make and share with people to help them buy you a gift you want. You can also ask friends and family members for their lists.
To make things easier, Prime members can send a gift to someone with just the recipient’s cell phone number. No need to ruin the surprise by asking someone’s physical address.
Best Buy
Best Buy started offering sale prices early in November with more deals launching closer to Thanksgiving.
They’re offering what they call a “Black Friday Price Guarantee” where if you buy something and the price goes down before Black Friday, they will refund the difference.
Returns are extended until Jan. 16.
Target
Target began advertising holiday deals on Oc. 31. They start each Sunday and last a week and are available for online, in store pickup, and in store purchase.
Deals labeled as “Holiday Best” will be the best price of the season, no matter when you see it. If a price goes lower, you can ask for a price match up until Dec. 24. They will also match a competitor’s price for 14 days.
Walmart
Walmart says they reinvented the Black Friday shopping experience in 2020 and are returning it this year.
They’re calling it “Black Friday Deals for Days” with several shopping events leading up to Christmas Day, Dec. 25. Items will be available while supplies last.
Walmart + members will get early access to these deals. Offers will be available first online and then in stores.
