Tyra Banks took the stage as the host of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” for the first time Monday night and fans were less than thrilled with her performance. In July, the network announced that the former “America’s Next Top Model” host would be brought in for Season 29 of the hit reality dancing competition to replace suddenly ousted hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews. Fans were stunned when Bergeron suddenly announced on Twitter that he would not be back. He hosted the show since its debut in 2005. Andrews, who was brought on as co-host in 2014, followed soon after as it came to light that the network had decided to move the show in a new direction. “ABC opted not to pick up Tom’s option. In the fine tradition of Hollywood cliches, they’re ‘Going in a different direction,’” a statement from Bergeron’s reps provided to Fox News read at the time. “Can Tyra Banks be the first person voted off, thanks! #dwts,” one user wrote. “Tyra banks has ruined dancing with the stars she tries to be funny but keeps falling flat…#bringtomback #DancingWiththeStars,” another user posted. “Reminder that #DWTS firing Tom & Erin was ridiculous and unnecessary, Tyra Banks is literally the worst host that’s ever existed, and Carol Baskin killed her husband. Don’t even give @DancingABC the satisfaction y’all,” another person wrote, noting the inclusion of the controversial “Tiger King” star on the celebrity roster for this season.
********We thought that Carole Baskin put some real “bite” in the show!!
*****Tom should be grateful. At least they didn’t grind him up and feed him to the tigers!!
*******Tyra may be a tad arrogant. That’s why she’s a super model!!!
Paul Rudd conducted a comedic skit aimed at millennials in order to get them to wear masks amid the coronavirus pandemic. The PSA, sponsored by New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, used pop culture references and lingo aimed at a younger audience to get the point across. Rudd wore a hoodie and sweatpants and accessorized with a pair of headphones around his neck and a hat tipped to the side. He also carried a skateboard. He introduced himself as an “actor and certified young person.” “Fam, let’s real talk. Masks, they’re totally beast,” Rudd began. He then revealed he was on an iPhone recently chatting with his “homie” Gov. Cuomo. “And he’s just going off about how us millennials need to wear masks because — get this — apparently a lot of COVID is transmitted by us millennials,” the actor said. “So Cuomz asked me and he’s like, ‘Paul, you gotta help. What are you, like 26?’ And I didn’t correct him,” Rudd said. He continued: “We want to go to bars, we want to drink, hook up, do our TikToks. I get it. I’m not gonna preach at you like some celebrity. Ugh. This is a convo, where I talk, you shut up. Wear your mask.” See the video HERE.
******His head is huge! That’s an extra-large mask!!
******Andrew Cuomo has killed more people than any other governor!! You should listen to what he says!!

Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt recently participated in a special event and photos of their reunion surfaced on Monday. They were involved in a virtual table read for the 1982 teen drama “Fast Times At Ridgemont High,” scheduled to stream on Thursday. Comedian Dane Cook, who also participated, shared a photo of the attendees on Instagram. This is the first time Aniston, 50, and Pitt, 56, have been spotted publicly interacting since their reunion at the Screen Actors Guild Award that went viral in January. In Cook’s photo of the call, Aniston is dressed casually as she cups her hands and smiles for the camera. Pitt is also smiling wide and is showing off long blonde locks while wearing a bright green shirt. They were married from 2000 to 2005. They have since reconciled a friendship following his divorce with Angelina Jolie. The project is set to air at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on Thursday. It was initially pushed back from its Aug. 20 premiere date. See the pic HERE.

Chris Evans appeared on “The Tamron Hall Show” Tuesday morning and addressed his accidentally leaked penis photo that went viral over the weekend. “Something happened this weekend?” Evans first joked. “It was an interesting weekend full of lessons learned, a lot of teachable moments,” Evans said. “It’s embarrassing, but you gotta roll with the punches. I have fantastic fans who came to my support.” On Monday, the “Avengers” actor took advantage of the social media mishap to try to boost voter turnout. “Now that I have your attention…. VOTE Nov 3rd!!!” he quipped. When asked about the tweet by host Hall, he joked, “That’s called turning a frown upside down.”

On Tuesday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the Queen and Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall shared photos on social media to mark Prince Harry’s 36th birthday. All of the pics featured Harry but not his wife, Meghan. The omission had Meghan fans up in arms and they quickly voiced their disapproval in the comments section. “The shade of them using this pic rather than one including his wife,” wrote one person alongside a photo of William, 38, Harry and Kate, 38, taking part in a 2017 race, while another noted, “Interesting photo selection! No Meghan…” “There must have been hundreds of photos you could have picked, but you chose to post one of Harry, William and Kate. I’m sure not including Meghan wasn’t unintentional,” another person commented.

Creepy R. Kelly Beat Up In Jail!-(Globe)
Pervy prisoner R. Kelly, 53, got a brutal beatdown from a fellow inmate in a Chicago lockup, claims the singer’s lawyer. According to attorney Steven Greenberg, the R&B crooner-who’s awaiting trial on underage-sex charges-was asleep in his cell when a thug with F**k the Feds inked on his face “stomped” on Kelly’s head and tried to stab him with a pen! Sources say the alleged attacker blamed the appearance of Kelly’s supporters outside the jail for triggering recent prison lockdowns.

Another actress turning her back on La-La Land.
“For now, Cameron’s happy to stay in L.A., but she and Benj [Madden] haven’t ruled out moving somewhere rural [in California], like Ojai or Santa Barbara,” says the source. It makes sense, as “she has zero regrets about leaving the moviemaking business-it was too volatile and cutthroat for her.” Being away from the pressure of the industry has also helped her gain perspective: “She hasn’t lost her ambition, but putting energy into family and other creative endeavors is a lot more satisfying,” says the source.
Rihanna & ASAP Rocky” Secretly Dating-(Star)
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have joined forces again-and this time, it’s personal! In 2013, RiRi appeared in A$AP’s “Fashion Killa” music video; in July, he starred in her Fenty Skin campaign. Now an insider says that the singer, 32, and the rapper, 31, “have had a ‘thing’ going for some time,” reconnecting earlier this year after Rihanna’s split from Hassan Jameel. Fans first suspected the romance following a flirty Aug. 26 interview, and a pal says they’re ready to go public. “Rihanna’s waiting for the right moment,” says the source. “But it won’t be long before they shout their feelings for each other from the rooftops.”
Say What?!-(Life & Style)
“In my normal life, I rarely shave my legs. Ironically, I think I’ve shaved my legs more during this quarantine than I have in my entire adult experience, simply because I have the time.”-Kristen Bell, on her recent at-home beauty routine.
“It was like, like, better than an Oscar. I was so happy! I was so happy that I got to run on-screen with Tom Cruise.”-Annabelle Wallis, revealing her co-star in 2017’s The Mummy originally didn’t want to share his sprint scenes.
“I’ve always thought of myself as a natural-born 77-year-old, so I’ve got 17 years before I’m going to feel like me.”-Sean Penn, who turned 60 in August.
Cheetah Girls actress Sabrina Bryan and husband Jordan Lundberg welcomed their first child, daughter Comillia Monroe, Aug. 31 in Newport Beach, Calif. “Our first week has really been incredible,” says Bryan.
Rebel With a Cause-(In Touch)
Showing off her 40-pound weight loss, Rebel Wilson shares a tip from what she calls her “Year of Health” journey. “When I was reaching for the candies last night I thought ‘hmmmm…better not’ and had water instead,” says the Pitch Perfect star, who has 18 pounds to go before she hits her goal wight of 165 pounds. “Hopefully, I can do it by the end of the year.”
Tiger On The Run
A 911 recording has captured an off-duty deputy reporting a tiger on the loose in East Knox County, Tenn., but several agencies haven’t been able to find it. Sheriff’s patrol units, Animal Control, Air Watch, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency and Tiger Haven, a big cat rescue in Roane County, have joined forces to locate and apprehend the tiger, a sheriff’s office statement said. Knox County sheriff’s Deputy Andy Wilson spotted the tiger Wednesday night in the Forks of the River Industrial Park, which he said rose out of the French Broad River, crossed the road and disappeared into a mass of kudzu. Knoxville police dispatch said there was another reported sighting of the tiger around 7 a.m. Thursday near Thorngrove Pike in Knoxille and multiple calls overnight of possible sightings around John Sevier Highway near Thorngrove Pike and on Bales Lane. “I’m out with a tiger cub,” Wilson said while calling into dispatch about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday to report seeing the animal. The Knox County Sheriff’s Office announced the spotting in a Facebook post, which had link attached for more information on its website, urging anyone with information to contact the sheriff’s office.

88 Year Old Walks Circumference Of The Earth
An 88-year-old Massachusetts man has walked 24,900 miles, and plans to finish the final mile Oct. 3 to total the circumference of the Earth. Brad Hathaway said his doctor encouraged him to start walking in his mid-50s when he was dealing with diabetes, heart problems and other health issues. “My doctor said, ‘You better walk, you better start walking tomorrow and start walking 3 miles a day,” Hathaway said. “So, I did, and I mapped out the entire town.” Since then, Hathaway began to walk daily, rain or shine, and would sometimes walk 10 miles instead of 3. Hathaway said he’s picked up some trash and some treasures along the way. He said that he has made about $7,000 from discarded items he collected on his walks, and he’s also made some friends. He’s been logging the miles he has covered over the years and recently decided to calculate the total. “I’m 1 mile to 24,901 and that’s around the Earth at the equator,” Hathaway said. Hathaway said that he hopes to raise the funds through his GoFundMe page. “All proceeds from Brad’s fundraising walk will be used for land acquisitions in the Aucoot area to increase the 480 acres of conservation land MLT holds there presently,” the GoFundMe page states. See the page HERE.

Oscar Mayer Proposals!
Oscar Mayer is offering free rentals of its 27-foot-long hot dog on wheels for marriage proposals. The idea came from one of the Wienermobile’s official drivers, Zach n Cheese, who actually proposed to his girlfriend at Yellowstone last week,” The Takeout reported. To rent the Wienermobile for free to make an appearance for proposals, Oscar Mayer recommends that people sign up three months to a year in advance to find dates that are not booked. While fears of weddings becoming super-spreaders of COVID-19 might get in the way of a dream wedding, renting out the Wienermobile can offer a memorable proposal. “If you have something big planned, the Wienermobile wants to help,” Oscar Mayer posted on Instagram.

Abraham Lincoln’s Hair Sells
A lock of hair from President Abraham Lincoln’s postmortem examination, along with a blood-stained telegram delivered shortly after his 1865 assassination, sold for more than $81,000. His lock of hair, about 2 inches long and mounted to the official telegram, sold at auction Saturday, according to a statement from RR Auction of Boston. The lock of hair ended up in the custody of Dr. Lyman Beecher Todd, a cousin of Lincoln’s widow, Mary Todd Lincoln. Todd was present at the postmortem examination and is believed to have wrapped the hair clipping in the telegram, which his assistant, George Kinnear, sent to him the previous day. “The above telegram … arrived in Washington a few minutes after Abraham Lincoln was shot,” a typed caption prepared by Dr. Lyman Beecher Todd’s son, James A. Todd, reads. The items sold for $81,250, which was more than the $75,000 the auction house expected to fetch since they went up for auction online late last month.

Need Extra Income? One of These 10 Best Side Hustles Can Help You Out
- Ride-share Driving
Your car can be a valuable asset in the gig economy. Ride-share companies, such as Uber and Lyft, are always looking for drivers interested in making extra money. To become a ride-share driver, you typically need to be at least 21-years old with one to three years’ driving experience, have a valid U.S. driver’s license, proof of car insurance and vehicle registration, a four-door vehicle that seats five people, and pass criminal and driving background checks.
The earnings potential of ride-share drivers varies depending on how often and when they drive. Driving at peak times can put more money in your pocket. This makes ride-share driving one of the best side hustles for people wanting the option to control their schedule and amount of money they make.
- Meal Delivery
If driving around strangers in the back of your car doesn’t sound appealing to you, then try meal delivery. Services like Uber Eats, Grubhub and DoorDash, allow people to order takeout and have it delivered to their door. One difference between traditional Uber and Uber Eats is that you’re not required to have a four-door vehicle. Drivers can use two-door cars, motorized scooters and bicycles. Here’s how you can learn more about delivering for Uber Eats.
- Freelance Work
If you have a particular set of skills and want to make some money using them on a side business, join a freelance network. Services like Fiverr and Upwork connect people with freelancers specializing in fields like copywriting, graphic design, coding, digital marketing, financial consulting and much more. Freelancers decide how much to charge for their services. Fiverr user Charmaine Pocek started writing resumes and cover letters for $5 a pop. Now she charges about $30 to $800 to write resumes, cover letters and optimize LinkedIn profiles. According to Fiverr, she’s earned more than $2 million using the site. Check out how she made her first million. It’s free to join Fiverr, and users keep 80% of your earnings made using the service.
- Listing Your Place on Airbnb
Have a spare room? Might as well try to earn some money by listing it on Airbnb.
If you’re a good host with a desirable space, you could add hundreds — even thousands — of dollars to your savings account with Airbnb.
A few simple steps can make the difference between a great experience and a less-than-satisfactory one. We talked to Terence Michael, an Airbnb superhost based in Los Angeles.
Here are some of his tips:
- Break out the labelmaker. “I have the entire house loaded with labels,” Michael says. “They look nice; they’re modern. This helps people feel less helpless.”
- Be a good host, and stock your place with the toiletries you’d expect at a hotel — toilet paper, soap and towels. Here’s a little hack from Michael: “I order on Amazon and have it delivered when people are there.”
- Be kind to your neighbors. “I say, ‘I’m not going to put anyone here who I think won’t be good for you,’” Michael explains. “And I turn a lot of big groups away, especially in Nashville. I don’t want anyone going to the cops or the city.”
(Hosting laws vary from city to city. Please understand the rules and regulations applicable to your city and listing.)
- Online Tutoring
If you have teaching experience, online tutoring could be a great side hustle for you. Tutoring companies such as Tutor.com, Brainfuse and TutorMe allow people with teaching or tutoring experience to instruct K-12 students and adults on different topics. These topics include your basic grade school subjects (math, English, science, reading and social studies), SAT/ACT prep and college-level courses.
Online tutors can earn anywhere between $9 and $25 per hour depending on the service, and sometimes the subject. Here’s a roundup of 10 online tutoring companies.
- Teaching English as a Second Language
This is another opportunity for teachers looking for work-from-home opportunities. Companies like VIPKid, QKids and Italki connect U.S. instructors with students wanting to learn English as a second language. Jennifer Ross, a former schoolteacher from Mount Dora, Florida, told The Penny Hoarder in 2018 that she earns $520 working 24 hours a week as a VIPKid instructor.
“And now I can live the stay-at-home dog-mom life,” Ross says with a laugh.
- Selling Craft Goods
Not all popular side hustles are service jobs. Consider making some money using your craft skills. Thanks to online platforms such as Etsy, eBay, Shopify and Amazon Handmade, artists have several outlets to sell their items without leaving their home or studio.
Each selling platform comes with its own pros and cons. Selling on Amazon, for example, gives you access to a huge online marketplace, but crafters will be up against stiff competition.
Etsy seller Katrin Lerman told The Penny Hoarder in 2018 she has shops with Amazon Handmade and Shopify, but Etsy is her favorite platform.
“Etsy really caters to the handmade,” she says. “They understand [handmade] better than Amazon… [which] is very strict with all the rules.”
- Delivering Groceries
Some people hate going to the supermarket, which is why grocery delivery services are on the rise. Instacart and Shipt employ gig workers who go shopping, pick out requested items and deliver them to customers’ homes.
Shipt shoppers are paid per order — the price is higher for bigger orders — and they also receive tips. Destiny Firth, a Shipt shopper in Nashville, told The Penny Hoarder in 2017 she makes $17.50 an hour.
- Creating Online Courses
If you’re a master of a topic and wish to make some passive income, then consider creating an online course. Massive Open Online Courses, or MOOCs, provided by companies like Udemy allow teachers and professionals to instruct students wanting to broaden their skills.
Instructors create the courses, which consist of audio, video, a PowerPoint-style presentation, practice assignments and exams, then charge a fee to enroll. The longer the course, the higher the pay.
According to Udemy, the site keeps 50% of the cost if the student finds the class on their platform, but the instructor keeps 97% of the course cost when the student signs up using an instructor coupon.
- Selling T-Shirts Online
If you’ve got ideas for catchy slogans or eye-catching graphics, why not put them on a T-shirt? Print-on-demand services such as Merch by Amazon, Printful and Redbubble allow people to upload their designs and sell products without dealing with the hassles of inventory and shipping. Each shirt is made to order, and the designer receives a percentage of the sale.
